Hi Dean, my biggest obstacle has always been financing. The deals are out there, all you have to do is spend some time researching to find them. Although I have excellent credit it's hard to find a bank to do the financing and even when you do you still have to come up with the 20 to 25% down, that's hard to do over and over.
My Wife - I currently want to start an online marketing business. I told her what I would like to do and it would cost me about $1000 to get it started. She was not supportive of the idea. I know that $1000 is a good sum of money and I wouldn't want her to spend that much without consulting with me. But I think I would be supportive if she really wanted to try something even if it was a hobby that she was passionate about. Does anybody have any suggestions? Maybe I am not presenting my idea as confidently to her as a should because I have been secretly harboring this business idea until I had learned enough information about it.
My biggest obstacle is myself. For example, I get easily distracted by non-revenue time-wasters, i.e. emails, webinars, shopping, etc. I need to FOCUS on things that make money so I may realize my mission to help homeowners and build communities by transforming ugly houses into beautiful homes. Mahalo nui loa to you, Dean Graziosi, for being such an inspiration to help me to be a better me and always giving excellent tips on not just real estate, but life itself. As we say in Hawaii, you're "no ka oi!" (the BEST!) ALOHA!
My biggest obstacle is not being able to move forward from my fear; I am not smart enough; I don't know everything there is to know about real estate so wait until I have learned everything! Crazy thought I just had there, typing it made me realize how crazy that sounds. I thing fear of not finding a suitable home.
thanks, Mary Clay - ashleyknowlesrealty@****
Is not being good enough or feeling deserving. I came from a very poor family and my inner thoughts are always "why should you have more". I think I deserve a better life if I work hard for it but I don't know how to turn off the negative.
My biggest fear is not having enough time to complete everything I need to do, especially going into real estate and still working my normal job until I get established. Not enough time in the day. What if I can't find a buyer on a wholesale property? How do I get out of the contract without losing credibility?
My biggest obstacle is getting clarity. I have researched business, leadership and investment, but do not know exactly what I want to do.
I have a medical/ business background, but do not know how people decide their next steps to keep growing. I read War of Art which leads me to believe I struggle with some kind resistance.
I'm a driver, a goal setter....everything is great on paper, and then life happens. Before I know it the day is gone and I have accomplished a bare portion of what need to be done. So I reset my to do list for the next day. I do a lot during the day, but my to do's are greater than my hours. I know I am supposed to mark what it most important, only to find at the end of my day, someone is emailing me about a potential deal and it isn't the one I had time to work on. The hours turn into days, the days in weeks and so on. I don't give up, I keep reorganizing, but it's exhausting because I feel like I can never catch up. On the outside, I'm great - - on the inside, it's a gut wrencher. Well, you wanted my obstacle and there it is. When I find the answer I'll let you know, because I have a feeling I'm not the only one that deals with this.
Not getting done what needs to be done, whether it's time management, lack of systems, excuses, funding as they all contribute. Taking the next step or making the decision is the main thing.
My biggest obstacle is not having a mentor. I have the concepts down, but when I look for houses in my market, there seems to be no good deals (which I know that there has to be). I have to wholesale, as my credit is not good and I have a family of 5 to support, so finding the good deal with no money down is important. I desire so much to get into this business, but I just don't know what I'm looking for--What I need is a mentor to say--"take a look at that one and go through the process," or "try and look here." That goes hand in hand with a fear of failure. I am the sole provider for my family and we live paycheck to paycheck and I can't afford to make a mistake that costs thousands of dollars or even a hundreds of dollars. But I want so much more for my family.
I can't wait to see what you have coming next. Dean, thank you so much for all your effort, your energy and for caring.
I have the fear of success. The fear of being judged because all my life having the struggles of dyslexia. I'm not using the dyslexia as an excuse. I have came over many obstacles in my life and even one of them being that I showed up to the edge 2015.My biggest fear is asking for help and what others will think of me, will they judge me, will they give me the time of day. I know I need to find a coach, or somebody willing to take the time with me, so that I could grow in my mind and get to the next level. I know when iam helped and showed a new task, I could do it well. This is one of the obstacles that dyslexic people struggle with,I dealed with it all my life. One of the things that Dean asked us to do was to put this on video and send it to him. I don't know how to do either one but I'm going to see if I can find somebody to help me put this together so that I'm following through on things that leaders asked me to do, so that I can get to the next level.
Has to be the story I'm telling myself. I'm striving to speak to myself with a different mindset, and I feel like I'm making strides. But it's a daily struggle, and I'm learning to embrace the struggle with insights from Dean and Tony Robbins. Dean, you're definitely on the right track. I thought that I can buy your program and solve my problems, but I hadn't figured out my why, or made a level of commitment to my success. I'm confident that I'll get there, and I'll look for all the help I can get!
My biggest fear is becoming successful and wealthy. I have almost never wanted for anything, but I have never been financially independent and not have money worries. Right now I am in the process of trying to get a modification on my home so I can save it. Having my mortgage paid off and being able to go on vacations are goals I have had for years but my fear has always held me back from my goals.
hi Dean my biggest obstacles is reading I have a hard time reading and understanding what I read. I can read a sentence over and over and over again and I cannot understand my mind wonders I'm more of a hands on person I learn from videos and people showing me how its done. or by examples. I was held back and put in special reading in school then I suffered in other classes and so my mother took me out of the special reading don't get me wrong I do read. but it holds me back. takes me longer to learn then others. I hate to even admit it because it always made me feel stupid all my life so there you go now I just admit it to the world that was my biggest fear. but you help me overcome that part. I just keep a doing thanks to you Dean
after analyzing why I always sabotage myself, leaving great projects unfinished, I realized my biggest fear are both: SUCCESS and FAILURE...
I'm afraid of being what I know I can be, from 'unleashing the hero' that's in me, of shinning and being on the spot, but also of failing and not accomplishing what I want.
My biggest fear/obstacle is related to just getting started and getting through my 1st deal then the next 2nd and 3rd deal. What if I just don't know enough and I get stuck in a deal I cant get out of. I think really once I get past the 1st few deals I will be unstoppable.

Is myself..Not that I have issues with people, not at all Im extremely outgoing..I can speak to people about most anything. I make friends everywhere I go, I'm smart but not book smart lol..My issues are exhaustion and "Making" time..I have 3 infants now, had many more children over yrs..but these 3 now 2 yrs and twins 3yrs..My plate is full, I get overwhelmed at times..and once done with them exhausted lol. I dont own any fancy phones or printers, or fax machines etc..Just now added cable in my home (not liking that) haha I'm on social security disability and earn from Kinship foster care and other temp work..I want to do this I'm tired of struggling but as I said..It's me....
My BIGGEST fear is fully and consistently experiencing the uncovered/evolved me because I fear it will shake all my belief systems. Without my beliefs steady enough, I fear I will be seduced by power, darkness within in control, and not even know it. And not even know it. My BIGGEST fear is having a lot of power.
Well, thank you so much for asking, Dean. It caused me to really think about my biggest fear. I fear not having enough time and money to make my dreams come true. I am a single mother with two high school students and a 3rd grade teacher. I am also a disabled vet. I've given all my time, money and energy to my children and my students. I'm working on re-launching myself as I launch my children into adulthood. I felt as if I had to stick with what was working to get my children through school and into college.
I KEEP TRYING BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET WHERE I WANT TO BE.I THINK I AM LETTING PEOPLE GET IN MY HEAD SOMETIMES THAT I NEED MONEY TO DO ANYTHING. I HAVE GOOD CREDIT BUT I STILL NEED MONEY.THEN I GET TO A POINT WHERE I LET LIFE GET IN THE WAY.I KNOW THAT REAL ESTATE IS IN MY BLOOD. ITS MY PASSION! WHEN I WAS YOUNG MY DAD ASKED ME TO GO INTO REAL ESTATE BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO SUB-DIVIDE OUR FARM LAND AND HE NEEDED ME TO SELL THE HOMES. FOR HIM. I TOOK THE TEST 3 TIMES AND FAILED. THEY NEVER TELL YOU WHY.I TOOK IT AGAIN YEARS LATER AFTER GETTING MARRIED HAVING TO SONS, YOU KNOW LIFE GETTING IN THE WAY. BY THAT TIME I FOUND OUT THAT MY DAD TRUSTED THE WRONG PEOPLE AND LOST THE FARM INCLUDING THE HOME HE BUILT HIS SELF WITH THE FAMILY'S HELP.IT WAS A BLOW FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AND STILL LEAVES ME WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED. SO I THINK I HAVE THE SAME PASSION AS MY DAD HAD IN REAL ESTATE BUT ITS HARD TO TRUST ITS SCARY.
My biggest obstacle is not knowing how to find enough new leads or which areas to focus on.
I hate the fact that I am so good at knowing the strategies, but not finding the deals to put my knowledge to work.

High Number of Comments
This week's message must have hit a raw nerve. For as long as I can remember the comments averaged about 20 a week, now it's 300+. What is going on?
My worst limiting belief . . .
