Thank you my DG family members for your well wishes! It really touches me. But honestly, at my age I dont mind flying under the radar anymore You guys are the best!!!!

I made a HUGE decision today!!!! As you may know, I have my house on the market to sell and then go live and work with Rina in Wiscsonsin. Well, while there has been lots of action - no offers. Things at work have been taking a turn for the worse, and they stepped on my last nerve today. Without hesitation I put in my letter for 3 weeks notice!!!! So if my house goes under contract or not - I am heading out to Wisconsin by the end of next month!!!!! I do not feel a tinge of anxiety so I know it was the right decision. Besides, call me crazy (everyone does ) I was going crazy knowing all the excitement awaiting me out there, and having that future stalled waiting for a sale.....part of me feels that I have just taken a BIG action step towards my goals, and by me doing that it will cause a shift in everything else and everything will fall into place. (That was the crazy part hahaha) We shall see! If nothing else I know I can rent or lease/option. It would have been nice to have the profits of the sale to take with me for investment power....but until that happens I will start to refi the props I have and keep rolling that into other deals. So THAT is my big news!

I love it!! (but who said anything about you LIVING with me? "go live and work with Rina in Wiscsonsin". btw, people here will shoot you if you spell the name of the state wrong, so practice that. LOLOL!)
Just kidding!!

So thrilled about that next step, sister!!! We might just have to make this the hub of the Midwest DG partnership connections! Jan and Jeremy have the East Coast, and Jason and Kimmy have the West Coast! Pretty darn cool to see what a network the DG Family has become! (We could start naming names of all the other combos in here, but I know I'd forget someone! Hey, just remembered Sandra and Lubertha too!)

Maybe the snow will have melted by the end of next month???

I mean you cant get in on the action any better than this. I mean watching you two ladies and looking back on the history, and the growth is just amazing. Anybody reading the entries of these two brilliant REI are getting a priceless REAL TIME footage of the "Rina&Laura Takeover" coming to a town near you. LOL I know you gals must be so excited and having so much fun. Keep it up you inspire me so much, and for some reason I feel like Im right there jumping up and down with you. Ok Ok Im moving to Winsconsin too!!!! lol Just kidding but seriously I am happy for you two and I know you have not even tapped the surface of the great things you will accomplish and the people you will bring along the way.

I'm sooooooo excited for you Laura!!!! Wow, the end of next month? I'm thinking the weather will be great for traveling right about then (but it's has snowed in April before).

Thanks girlfriend Really cool stuff happening for sure! We've had so much snow here in jersey this past month that I'm ready....it doesnt scare me hahaha

Refering back to my post above titled leap of faith.....alot happened quickly since I gave notice at work on Friday!
Along with my house I also had a small boat for sale, and as of Friday night there were no showings scheduled for my house for this weekend.
Well Saturday morning I sold the boat, and then my realtor called to say 4 people wanted appts. for that day (3 were second looks-yay), AND 3 more for today (two second looks and one new)
All I can say is WOW! I truly feel that by me being proactive to chase my dream other things are clicking in place!
I hope my next post is that I have an offer!!!!

I am looking forward to that post too!

Fingers crossed for you, this story gets more exciting every day!

I have a small group of REALLY great friends, and we get together every Sunday for lunch and usually a movie. Well, guess what the movie was today?
ME - my Empowering Conversation dvd with Dean!!!!!! Ever since I went out to Az to do it, they have been dying to see it. So since it came out this month, I finally got the courage to bring it over. After a little intro talk I said its nearly an hour so we can see a few minutes but we dont have to watch the whole thing...well....they were glued to the TV! Absolutely intrigued and fascinated!!!! They said they were sorry when it was over - and we kept talking real estate for the rest of the afternoon! I felt so good to have their admiration and oh yeah - alot more hard money hahahaha!!!!

That is SOOO fantastic!! What a great feeling! And funny how people have a change of heart when they see how well you're actually doing, isn't it?? That's so cool. (It was such an honor to be there watching when you made the video too! You looked really great on the HUGE screen in the green room!!!! ) And you were so confident. It's no wonder they were impressed.)

I do not say Hi often, but I check in and follow your journal often. So hard to keep up though, you are on a roll!

I LOVED that you just quit your job on Friday and how everything in falling into place! As scary of that would be for most people, it just seems like perfect timing for you!

For me, your journal is like reading Rina's posts, (high praise indeed I know!) it justs puts a smile on my face and inspires me as much as I am sure it does everyone else!

A lot has been going on for you my friend. First you quit your job, and now selling your house, and make the big move to Wisconsin. I'm so excited for you my friend. Angela - Do you have a journal somewhere? I cant seem to find it...sorry!And yes - quitting my job felt really right - no worries at all. And when I saw Deans blog today I was like WOW...I just jumped out of the 95% group! Yay!

Richie- Rina & I were referring to my Empowering Conversation interview I recorded with Dean. She was there in Az when it was taped. Its part of the series you can sign up for and get two new ones each month. Its really exciting and informative and its like candy for my mind in my mailbox each month haha. (I'm always thinking of food one way or the other)

Lloyd - Thanks so much for your encouragement! You have always been a top motivator for me! Just read how things are working out on your latest deal - it so great you already have a renter waiting who is willing to do some work! Everyone wins as usual

Just when I thought I had a ICG in NJ, now that one is leaving me for what, that cheese state, what is it called? You guys truly amaze me, really. I don't say that much at all but you two are great. Glad you finally got to see yourself on the dvd. I'm like you and look at ICG and can't for the life of me figure it out. Maybe Jan can enlighten us to what it stands for. Congratulations on quiting your job and moving to God's Country.
