I do my best to keep up with you, Rina, and so many others on this site that I don't always post. I just think it's great that you jumped out in faith to quit your job even though your house hasn't sold (yet?). You truly are an inspiration to us all. I love the friendship that you and Rina display on these journal pages and the encouraging words you give us all.

I think it's great that you were able to show your friends the DVD and how inspiring you are to them and us here on the DG site. I haven't received mine yet and can't wait. I just started talking to people that I work with and a few friends about what I'm doing with REI and it's been quite interesting; I call it 'planting the seeds' for either your buyer's list or cash investor.

Anyway it's a pleasure to know you're here for us. CAn't wait to hear the rest of the story. It looks promising about your house selling; I will keep my fingers crossed for you and say some prayers (that can't hurt).

Today I got a purchase to offer...we went back and forth and agreed on a price I can live with- yeeha! So they are writing up formal contract and sending over tomorrow. In Jersey there is a 3 day attorney review....which will not be up until after the weekend. Which means the showing I have tomorrow and over the weekend can be told there is an offer on the table and perhaps bring in a higher offer! Of course we are expecting another foot of snow over the next day 1/2 - so showings might be cancelled....but no matter what - I have a contract I'm happy with!!!!!!

Amazing day - another long distance closing in WI. but this one is EXTRA SPECIAL - Rina and I bought it together...so cool! Its a great investment, and it will also be my new home starting the end of this month. We'll be having coffee by the fireplace planning our moves on what to do with the property, and hunting down deals!
I cant express to everyone what it feels like to go for your dreams and actually have them unfold for you!! And every single person on this site has that ability - so keep your eyes on the prize, and remember every little step you take brings you closer to the end goal. So be sure and congratulate yourself for every action step you take each day - no matter how small. I would have never in a million years think I'd be where I am now and doing what I'm doing in just under two years!

Everything is happening so fast its hard to wrap my head around it!!!
I just signed a contract on my Jersey house!!! Like I mentioned before,we have a 3day attorney review...and then of course they have to secure financing.....once thats done we're good to go and I'll breathe easier....but man I'm excited!!! House was listed for 340,000 and I got 330,000....so in this market I'm VERY happy

THAT IS FANTASTIC!!! That is only 3% off what you wanted!! Absolutely fantastic!!! I am so happy for you and excited. Things are really coming together. I just love your positive spirit! Can't wait to be around it EVERY DAY!

Congratulations on signing a contact on your house already. That is wonderful! (Curiosity - did you price it low to get almost what you were asking for and so quickly?)

It took me a while but I went back through the journals to find the link to the farm prop. The pictures are amazing! I hope that you will be very happy there.

That shindig will be fun, I am looking forward to it too. As well as coffee by the fireplace in your house too, of course!

Moving from Jersey to Wisconsin is a big project...but its coming along. So lately all my energy is focused on clearing out & donating stuff, packing, finding a moving company.....its real estate of a whole different sort! Cant wait to get out there, get settled, and start making deals!

Hey can you believe this crap with the airport!! I think they are trying to put more fear into me about flying than I already have! now they are letting kids take over duties in the control tower and are going to take away the biggest run way and congest the others with flights, all before I get on a plane!!!

You are too funny - ah if life were SO simple I could just throw a few clothes, some CD's and my cats in the car and go Buts its all working out....my official date to hit the road is April 2nd!! You are going to be so happy at the EDGE! Once you're there any worries about the planes and getting there will disappear - its SO awesome....it just kills me everytime I think about missing it!!!! So no worries about the planes....just keep your eyes on the prize same as doing your deals
