OfflineI got my silver badge at 200 and my wings at 227 points... I am so lost on where these badges come from and how they are given out.... I was thinking that my gold badge would be next, but instead I got my wings.... not complaining but just wondering... Of course this not urgent...ITS JUST BEEN BUGGING THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!lol... Any one with some info on this subject or wondering the same thing please feel free to ponder on what they are and how they are assigned with me...lol

There is no formula to badges, they are given arbitrarily by certain users on the site. Again, since they aren't handed out systematically, you don't need to fret if you think you deserve badge X but don't have it, they will come in due time. =)
I'm not overly concerned about the medals... I was just curious, but thank you for informing me with this knowledge!

Badges appear by performing certain actions around the site. You receive the bronze, silver, and gold medals once you have a certain amount of posts. The wings and gold ring are given to people who contribute time and effort to help other members. The pot of gold stands for knowledge discovery and then the diamond is given when someone posts a deal on the site.

I was just wondering, but i guess it isn't a big deal because as everyone else has stated I'll gain them with time
Also what kind of knowledge must you discover does it have to be something huge or something you found that others may not have and you provided? Main reason I am concerned with it is I want to hit inner circle someday as it is one of my goals to be able to pick the brains of the others in their special forums and I know I need all the badges to reach it.

Yea I've been noticing that and he was right it shouldn't matter I'm having fun, enjoying positive people, getting help and having the ability to help others here and off our DG's family site has made my world so much better I can't help but be positive about everything these days! Anyone else experience this?? I KNOW when I was here before, using this same name, I had my 3 medals, bronze, silver and gold, my wings, pot o'gold and the one for super contribution. NOW only have silver medal and knowledge discovery : ( Is there a reason for this? Just curious, really
