Success Academy

If you can aford it at all it is 100% worth it. We couldn't aford it when we signed up and put it all on credit cards, but man was it worth it. This is probably the best decision we've ever made! The program has changed our lives and the lives of so many others.

We tried REI on our own and failed miserably...I mean over $100k in debt. But we still wanted to invest in Real Estate as we knew it would be the key to our future. We signed up for the academy and truly learned the tools that we needed to be successful. We learned how to find buyers and sellers and actually make the deals happen step by step. The very best part of the program is the access to successful coaches that are there for you whenever you need them.

Our advice is to sign up, learn the skills, take action....and CALL CALL CALL the coaches along the way! Best of luck to you.

It's hard to think of putting that much money on a credit card when I've worked very hard to keep my debt very low. Very scary so I appreciate your input very much. I (Andrea) was very skeptical and was fairly against it when Chip convinced me to sign up. However, once we did I wanted to be successful, if anything just get those 5 deals done with $1k of profit each so we could get our money back. Having that kind of focus and setting little goals along the way got us there. It was soooooo cool closing our last required deals and getting a check for it, then a couple days later getting another check from the Academy in exchange for our story. Which we are so pumped about would have been willing to shout from a roof top.

Set some goals along the way. Like I'm going to put 10 hours into this each week, then if you are falling short make hold yourself accountable. Make to do lists..ie I'm going to call 10 realtors this week and 10 banks, etc. I'm going to do 2 modules from the Academy. I'm going to have a deal by the end of the week that I can call into the Academy and discuss with a coach.

You'll be amazed with how much you'll learn and having the little goals will get you to some deals before you know it. Take action and keep at it.

The success acamady was the best thing I have ever done, When I joined my back was against the wall . I had just filed bankruptcy Had no Job and living in town of 5000 people and the biggest city was 1hour and 30 min away. My wife wasn't very happy when I joined. the coaches and material they offer was awesome. If you check out my journal it goes into detail of what i went though. It was all well worth it I have closed 20 deals in the last 9. months with O down and bad credit. I have received $80.000 In down payments and have over a 2.000 a month positive cash flow. All I can say for me is , Their is no way I would have been were I am at today without the Success Acamady and wonderful coaching staff. GOOD LUCK and welcome to the family. Linda, I echo what everyone else here as said. Having my money invested in the academy held me accountable to myslef be successful. The lessons kept me on track and focused on my deals. While I didnt get the deals done to get my money back, I have no regrets. I've made it back several times over in profits since then! So as long as your willing to work hard and invest yourself and your time I support joining the academy 100%!

thanks. i need to be held accountable. i need hand holding and a good kick in the rear when necessary too. i am passionate about this, but i have had issues with fear holding me back. i would get real close, then back off. so, it's important to get that support i need.

okay, i took the plunge. i'm scared out of my wits, but i was talking on the phone with a friend last night about investing. she told me sometimes we have to "do it afraid", and that is what i'm doing. i think having the support from my coach and all of you will be a tremendous help. i have been working on my goals and am starting a journal on the website. i may be scared, but i'm excited too. i'm thankful that i'm in a good investment area, and i also plan to branch out some too. thanks to everyone for their encouragement to do this.

I really use this a lot. I mean if you think about it what is fear. Alot of the time its anger turned inside out. When I look into the mirror and try to figure out what I am afford of it slaps me right in the face. usually all it boils down to is I am pi___ at myself for not taking action.Hope this helps a little.

If you enroll you would just have to follow threw and take action... I enroll and made 5k in my first two deals. Just call ask quetion

The coach will walk you through and take action do your assingments.

i think i'm really mad at myself that i would let fear be an issue in the first place. taking things one step at a time and not getting ahead of myself will probably help. and i need to quit caring what others think. thanks for the encouragement.

Is that 180 included in what you have to pay for enrolling in the academy,or do you have to pay on a monthly bacis for the accademy and additional 180 to the finacing,that gets expensive when you have to pay a house payment and property taxes and insurance,also a vehicle payment.

i'm not sure and hopefully someone can answer that for you. i went ahead and charged everything on one credit card. my monthly payment is fairly low on that card and it's a business credit card, so that should be good for taking off the interest on my taxes next year. i plan to have it paid off quickly from my deals.

Shoot for those deals that will pay for your Academy Education, attending The EDGE, etc. Plus you can write all those things off...How cool is that.

I'm now in the program and chipping away at locking up some deals and getting going with it. It all starts with that first step and also realizing that you have to put effort in the program. I see people sign up for these programs and expect a guy in a suit knock on their door with a suitcase full of money and leave it on their door step.
With the right effort you can for sure get that level of success you want in a much shorter period of time.

congratulations! darn it, i was hoping that guy in the suit was gonna show up here real soon! i have to say that i'm farther along with the academy than i have ever been on my own. i enjoy talking to my coach and working on my lessons, but i am also getting into the actual "work" part of it too. i know you will do well. keep me posted. if interested, my journal is Linda's (from Indiana) Journal. are you keeping a journal? if you are, i would like to follow it.

Thanks for the post, besides the Academy I have about 7 years prior experience behind me which will come in handy as things happen in real time. Don't worry about the learning curve, if you keep at it then eventually you'll be so saturated with RE knowledge and understanding that even when thrown a curve ball you can fire back with a solution right off the top of your head on how to finalize a deal or assignment. And THAT ability is what make you an asset to bigger investors that are in a position to really bless you with opportunity to make serious money, especially with commercial deals/investments. This will then open your eyes to whats really possible because you cant go where you first can not see...

By the way kudo's on the "FEAR" statement, very true.

I am brand new at this. I've read a couple of Dean's books, and almost had a deal on my own. However, I recognize that I need EXTRA help. I have some extra money coming to me from my recent college enrollment, and I wanted to use some of it for the Success Academy. I believe that it would end up paying for itself. I just want to know how it all works...it's taking that first step and making this commitment to my own success that has me a little nervous. I truly believe that this is a good idea, but I've made some pretty costly mistakes recently. I've promised myself that I would never again leap before I looked, or make any more important life decisions without examining all the facts first. I'm 99.99% sure that I'm going to do this...I just need about another .01% convincing that this is the right path. I'll be in college soon, and will need all the money I can get to pay rent, bills, get some food, and still do this real estate investing...not to mention gas, and insurance for my vehicle. I'm approaching the age of the mid-life crisis....so if i can avoid that whole life crisis thing, that'd be cool. Is it set up like a college course? I read something about modules...? 38 isn't really old, but it isn't really young either! Is there some sort of deadline in the Academy? Will I be able to pull off my college work and this Academy at the same time? Will I be mainly doing the Academy in my home town? I have lots of questions...

I'm just going outta my head here! I'm guessing that most people are soundly asleep, but I am WIDE AWAKE!! Just waiting on that phone call from Dean's Success Academy admissions person...by the way, how did I get those icons under my name?? Anybody know?

I think the Academy is great but you still have to put in the work.

The coaches dont seem to have much time for you if you have not thought things through and done your homework so work hard and do your part

I was on line and emailed the Success Academy for more info twice with no response?? I also called one time and it told me that they were unable to take messages or something like that. No one has responded from the Academy from my request for information that I sent through Dean's website even though I received an email saying that someone would be contacting me soon.

I think you will see that the information and action items that they give you will help to speed along your success. And to have someone that you can call with any question is great!
