hey dg family. today i'm finishing up a job so I can have a full weekday of r.e.i. tomorrow. I do have some calls to return and 2 offers to put out today.

wife put cl ads in for our rental and had 11 calls when I got home from work. I don't think i'm going to have a large vacancy rate lol!

going to my first Md. rei club meeting today. will follow up with progress of the day.

I see you started your journal in Dec. of 2009 and you are doing really well. Just wanted to tell you that you help me (and many others) out by making regular updates on your journal. I intend to do the same thing.

i'm very happy and humbled that I can help anyone here. I know how hard it is to live in the "world of negativity". fortunately for me as soon as someone starts telling me how bad real estate is I just smile all the way to the bank. I've given up on spending my valuable energy trying to tell people "the earth is round" when they clearly want to see it flat and they know sooo much more than we do .

had a great week, being productive. feels good. today we joined the inner circle and will start our training on Monday morning. can't wait to get going at a crisp gate.

got going as soon as we got home from the edge. we've made contact with some new people that have multiple properties for sale and collected 14 new buyers over the last 2 weeks. as I posted in this weeks weekly wisdom, we'll be measuring our success from edge to edge (I think that's what we call our fiscal year lol). I made a contract between myself and another unnamed dg couple (bruce and bonnie . that i'm going to be at 10 deals before next years edge. the truth is I want to be doing 10 deals per month before next years edge. awesome event by the way. every presenter had something for me to take away. I've spent a lot of money with dg education, but it's been worth every penny. the only reason I wouldn't succeed would be because of the man staring at me in the mirror each morning. as I try not to cut my face shaving while reading my goals in the morning .

It was nice meeting you guys in person! I just have to watch where I sit at the pool next time. Don't want to sit under any trees!

it was so nice to meet you and Deborah at the edge. i'll be sure to let you know about that mhp and please when you can give me your criteria and areas other than Colorado and i'll add you to my buyers list. hopr to see you next year or the next big deal....hopefully it'll be the latter first .

got up early as usual this morning. got my coffee and did my early morning rituals. I had some work to do today and hate to work on sunday because I feel like I lose track of the days when I work everyday, but it needs to be done. I was in the office and had joel osteen on and was going to go to church before I started striping and got really tired all of a sudden. o told myself i'd lay back down for an hour before church and woke up 3 hrs. later. I swear i'm still not back on track from Arizona. I don't know how people that travel by air all the time do it. I guess it's just something you get used to. anyway it's off to work for a couple hrs. and back to vegetate for part of the day while getting some reading or studies done. have a great day my dg fam.

yes I think it's a great idea. edge to edge fiscal year that is. again it was so nice to finally meet you. I feel like I bumped into a friend I haven't seen in years. hope to see you again next year if not before. you take care of Tennessee and let me know of any multis there.

heading over to my rental unit to finish it up and put out more rental apps. we have a new prop mgr, but haven't gotten up to speed yet so i'm doing this one while cecil gets her trained. this will be my last rehab (that I personally do). I want to do more rehabs and fix and flips. I just don't want to waste the time to do them. i'm a professional real estate investor. from now on that's what I do. let the general contractors do the rehabs. can't wait to get them trained so I can spend ,ore time playing monopoly with real buildings .

today i'm hunting more buyers and trying to secure funds for my home which is coming up for option.

hope everyone had a happy mothers day. time to get ready for tomorrow. i'm changing some strategies and picking up speed. I have to put out way more offers while continually building my buyers list. have gotten some names of new prospects for team members and really excited for the week to come.

It was very nice meeting you in person at the Edge! Hopefully next year we'll have more time to talk; oh yes, and maybe you'll get some new bus cards by then?!

c'mon! you mean to tell me you don't like my fluorescent biz cards lol.
I call them delightfully tacky and yet unrefined lol. one thing's for sure though. they can't hide on a bulletin board. great to meet you at the edge and i'm sorry we didn't get that much time together, but once a year makes it tough to talk to everyone you talk with all during the year. see you next year and yes we'll compare deals.

got a lot of calls to buyers today. made 2 offers, 1 with another dger and hopeful on that one. carwash broke down and had to spend the rest of the afternoon working with the electrician to get that right. it's just about rebuilt, but at this point in my life I don't want another job no matter how much profit potential there is. anything that takes me away from r.e.i. is going to have to go, so if anyone wants to buy a carwash?

went to church this morning and was a great service, but my migraine was kicking in before I could get home so now i'm walking around the house with sunglasses on . oh well it always gets better and I always try to look at the glass "half full".
