thanks for stopping by. i live most of my time in maryland, but like north carolina alot and want to eventually move my base of ops there. my wife likes indiana so we started a team there as well although i just do paperwork and final negotiations in that area.

it's been a beautiful day today so i spent most of it outdoors.
today i'm writing up some new bandits to put out this weekend.

working on trying to figure out my new laptop. didn't know what all i needed to with windows 7 and now i havw to learn 8. oh well, just another challenge to overcome. no problem, i overcome challenges all the time.

Made me think. With the constant challenges we deal with all the time as REIs, does that qualify us as "challenged"?

in answer to your question? yepper! lol we're all challenged, but in a good way. we can learn new things daily. overcome challenges daily.

tried to run around and put all fires out before the weekend. put out some of my bandits tonught but traffic was still pretty busy so going back to my usual 4a.m. wakeup to get out the rest. goodnight y'all.

finished putting out my bandits. going to price some work and then back to the phones.

getting ready to go pick up my bandits. didn't have any calls this weekend, but that isn't really unusual. alot of times they take the number and call during the week. trying to see what r.e.i. meetings there are this week and have a d.g. event coming this week as well.

Are these signs in your local area or are they in a area you once mentioned that is a bit of a drive from you? I admire your dedication.

first off, thanks for the visit.
the particular area that i'm talking about is local. the close travel area is an area that i haven't put bandits out in yet, i'm actually still scouting what i think are the best spots. they also don't have alot of areas to put bandits. (alot of concrete lol) i just ordered a sign stapler to put them on poles up there so maybe next week for that.

I know exactly what you mean about some of the challenges you face when it comes to bandit signs. When I do put them out it is only on poles now. I use a hammer stick for wood poles. Let us know how the stapler works for you. Thank you for welcoming me to your journal.

very very good saying. sometimes it's easy to get off track though, even here. we have fantastic like minded people here and so much info it's easy to lose track in it all. if and when that happens stop trying to focus on all things and focus on one strategy and become a professional at that. i won't say good luck because you and i know that has nothing to do with your success. thanks for the visit.

have to work the next couple of days so i'm trying to get everything out of the way before my 3day workshop.

had funds wired to title company for a closing on monday. tomorrow we're doing a 3 day event in de.

ok so it's 11 p.m. on the second day of the 3 day workshop in de.
i've had a very informative day and looking forward to tomorrow. stayed over tonight to get an early start. very excited to see my work starting to pay off.

today i'm getting ready for my lead paint inspection on the baltimore property.

Thanks for saying what so many of us are letting ourselves feel. I know you originally posted the comment when you first joined but look what has come of it. You have encouraged all of us to keep moving forward. I am really glad to see you didn't give up. There are moments when I ask myself "what am I doing". Then I realize I better answer because the answer is so much more then that brief moment when I asked the question. This journey has been coming in waves for me. I'll go a few days and then wham three viable calls/emails.
Yesterday was just such a day. I turned in two offers as a result. Sure they were only the 2nd and 3rd of my 25 for the month (remember I'm just starting) but wow what a great validation that there are investor deals in my area.

thanks for the visit and let me say that i'm truly humbled that I could be of help. there're so many more qualified than I but if anything I say helps anyone in any way that's awesome. speaking of awesome, your progress is awesome!! believe in yourself. never let anyone steal your dreams. if you let that happen it's your fault. don't let that happen.

The first entry of this journal is how I felt for a long time.
As for the bandit sign stapler, it might be a little late to mention
but if you youtube "how to hang bandit signs with eddie case" that is the
best way to do it and cheapest. But NEVER hang signs on poles during the week and/or day. I've had horror stories of people harassing me including city workers LOL best hassle free way is the stakes in the ground but it does suck if people take em out. I've literally put out over 1000 bandit signs in last year and almost quit because of how much it exhausted me. But cant believe how WRONG I was doing it, I like your journal!
