Indiana-Joe's Epic Adventure Journal as I continue my successful journey through the Cash Lands of eBay & Craigslist Treasures!

Real Estate is my # 1 Passion!..........
Real Estate is my Burning Desire!...........
Real Estate is in my Blood!..........
Real Estate is my Greatest Adventure!............
eBay and Craigslist provide us with another opportunity!.....

We owe Dean a tremendous amount of gratitude for what his books and programs have done for our lives. Dean provided the information and knowledge to get us on a path of success with real estate investing. He gave us that burning desire to have hope again in the American Dream and to succeed with real estate. Dean’s passion and desire to help people succeed is very contagious.

Recently, we had a great conversation with Dean about real estate investing and making a difference in our communities by helping people. We admire what Dean has done and is currently doing to help people succeed with Real Estate Investing. It is amazing how many lives Dean has helped and the ripple effect of countless lives and families that are better off today than yesterday.

We discussed with Dean how Stacey and I were having success with buying and selling other "stuff" on eBay and Craigslist and making some really good extra money for nearly the past 11 years. Our formula for success is very simple, we BUY LOCAL on Craigslist and then SELL GLOBAL on eBay.

Not only can you make money but you can also save money too! Dean was so impressed by what we were doing with eBay and Craigslist, that he suggested we share this with the DG Family!

Stacey and I are so delighted to share this information with you because it can truly make a difference in your life. I always loved business and enjoyed reading about successful entrepreneurs. How they started a business and built that business was fascinating to me. In April 1999, I heard about these “dot.com companies” called Craigslist and eBay and I wanted to find out what they were all about. I knew a friend that was running a business on the internet while I went to work each day. I would ask him when he was going to get a real job and he stated that he was making too much money from home selling Star Wars Action figures. I asked him if he was selling them at the local collectible shows and he stated: “No, I have a worldwide marketplace.” This was fascinating to me so I asked him to explain and that was my first introduction to eBay.

This was very exciting to me especially I saw the amount of business my friend was doing. I went home later that night and talked to Stacey about this “eBay thing”. Stacey and I were going to the local movie theater but before we left, I setup an account on eBay and listed a Disney Animal Kingdom backpack on an eBay auction. The backpack was still new and in great shape but was just sitting on a shelf in my closet. I bought it on sale the year prior at Disney World for only $5.00. A few hours later when I got home the price was bid up to $15.00. I could not believe how easy this was. I sold that pack back for $22.00 and this was my start on eBay. I looked to see what else I could sell and sell we did. For the past 11 years we have been selling on eBay. We have a simple system, buy Local on Craigslist and sell Global on eBay!

It is just that easy! I want to share this with all of you because I believe real estate investing is the fastest way to build wealth. In addition to real estate, you can also make some extra CASH TODAY with Craigslist and eBay. If you need a few extra bucks today, eBay and Craigslist can give you an extra $100 per week or even a few thousand a month!

Why I want to share this with you is because I know there are so many people out there that an extra $100 a week or a few thousand a month could make all the difference in the world for you!

Over time this extra cash can add up to help you with your real estate investing or take some pressure off you today with your current bills and let you open your mind as you read Dean’s books. I know you can succeed in real estate and I know you can have success with Craigslist and eBay too! There are even real estate opportunities on Craigslist and eBay. Thus, once you get started with Craigslist and eBay you won’t stop and who knows what can happen?

I have also found the Craigslist and eBay business is so similar to real estate Investing; from building buyer's lists, to posting “bandit” signs to finding great deals! As I do things with real estate today, it reminds me of how Craigslist and eBay helped me gain confidence and come up with creative ideas. I know you can succeed with real estate investing because Dean’s books, programs and the DG website are the elements for your success.

Today, Stacey and I are active real estate investors and real estate is our #1 passion! However, we also keep up with Craigslist and eBay. Stacey has really enjoyed the business and still has so much fun today with it. Stacey believes one of the greatest advantages of the eBay and Craigslist business is you can work on this business any time of the day or night. So it is a perfect opportunity with flexible hours for anyone that has a few hours a week to make some extra "cold hard" cash.

I hope you can open your mind and free some of the “cash today” worries through an opportunity like Craigslist and eBay can provide to you. By listing some of your unwanted "stuff" you can make a little cash today which might help you make a lot of cash tomorrow with real estate! I know you can do it! Please feel free to post any eBay or Craigslist questions on this forum thread as this Epic Adventure continues to evolve! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

StubHub Launches Free Ticket Application for iPhone and iPod

StubHub Launches Free Ticket Application for iPhone and iPod Touch Devices
Fans Can Now Access World's Largest Inventory of Secondary Market Event Tickets and Make Purchases On-The-Go Using Popular Portable Devices
Press Release
June 2, 2010

SAN FRANCISCO, Jun 02, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, today announced that a StubHub ticket purchasing application is now available on the Apple App Store. The StubHub iPhone and iPod Touch application provides fans with the freedom to access and search the world's largest inventory of secondary market sporting, concert and theater tickets -- and make purchases -- anyplace, anytime. The application provides a mobile conduit into StubHub's dynamic marketplace where more than six million tickets are available, enabling fans to shop with confidence in a safe, convenient and guaranteed environment.

The StubHub application incorporates many of the same popular features available on the StubHub website, including access to familiar search and purchasing functionality, seat maps, detailed ticket listings, quantity and pricing filters and more. The application's navigation and user interface is tailored specifically for Apple's unique touch screen format, providing fans with a convenient, simple and intuitive way to purchase tickets while on the go, in many cases right up to the time of the event.

In addition, fans using the StubHub application will enjoy the same FanProtect Guarantee and award-winning customer service that is offered on the StubHub website, attributes that have made StubHub the "go to" source for live entertainment event tickets for millions of fans across North America.

"StubHub is all about providing choice, and access for fans," said Ray Elias, Director of Marketing for StubHub. "By extending our service and providing a rich experience in the mobile arena we are taking another step in that direction. We will continue to innovate in this space."

The StubHub application is ideal for last minute planners and travelers, with features that showcase upcoming live events based on the user's location or by their cities of choice. The application also provides social interactivity functions, enabling fans to interact directly with friends and family on ticket purchasing decisions by sending event and ticket details to a variety of email programs, Facebook and Twitter. In addition, the application integrates seamlessly with iTunes, enabling fans to sync their favorite artists to the application in order to monitor and easily identify when their top events of interest are coming to town. Finally, the application allows users to tag their favorite artists or teams for quick navigation and access.

Fans can download the StubHub iPhone and iPod Touch application for free on the Apple App Store. The secure application protects users' personal information and enables fans to purchase tickets using their existing StubHub account, via PayPal, or by saving their credit card information within the application.

"The launch of the StubHub app builds on eBay's momentum in mobile commerce and expands our ever-growing portfolio of mobile applications," said Steve Yankovich, vice president of mobile for eBay Inc. "eBay Inc. offers more choice in ecommerce formats for sellers and buyers than any other online shopping destination. With the new StubHub app, we give consumers instant access to a wide selection of sought-after tickets right from the mobile phone."

The introduction of the StubHub app for the iPhone expands eBay Inc.'s mobile offerings. Earlier this year, eBay released an eBay app for iPad and two new apps for the iPhone: eBay Selling and eBay Classifieds. As a global leader in m-commerce, eBay Inc. recognizes that buyers and sellers are increasingly turning to mobile devices for their shopping needs. eBay Inc.'s mobile applications are available to millions of iPhone, BlackBerry and Android users in more than 190 countries and eight languages.

Rare Card of Phenom Stephen Strasburg Reaches $16,000 on eBay

Rare Card of Phenom Stephen Strasburg Reaches $16,000 on eBay
FOXNews.com
By WISDOM MARTIN
May 28, 2010

STERLING, Va. - Virginia resident Leonard Kim has been a card collector for 20 years.

"I buy specific card over the years specific boxes and cases," said Kim.

He recently purchased several cases of cards, hoping out of hundreds of cards in the boxes, he would find something.

"The first set of boxes, nothing in there. But in the third box, the eighth pack I removed them and I saw that staring back at me," said Kim.

To his surprise, it was a rare rookie card of Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg.

"When I opened that pack and saw that, I couldn't believe it. It's like winning the lottery,” said Kim.

This particular card is called the superfractor. It is the only Strasburg superfractor card made.

"To get a superfractor, there is one in 11,000 packs. 150 different players. So the odds of pulling him is one in one and a half million,” said Kim.

"This is rare and very coveted by the collectors, so it's kind of like the holy grail of the set," said Patrick Lee of Blow Out Cards’ web development division.

Kim is selling the rare card on ebay.

"People were saying I will give you $20 for it. I will give you a dollar for it. He is not going to be that good," said Kim.

In a few days, the price tag has exploded to more than $16,000.

"People say why would you pay so much for a cardboard with someone's picture on it. I said I don't know but I'm glad somebody does,” said Kim.

For some collectors, a card this rare would be their priceless prized possession. But for Kim, it's all about the money.

"I've been collecting cards a long time. I know when to sell something when the guy is hot," said Kim. "As hot as it is right now, I would be a fool to let someone else have it."

Warren Buffett Lunch Sells for $2.63 Million on eBay 06-12-2010

Warren Buffett Lunch Sells for $2.63 Million on eBay
USA News Weekly
June 12, 2010

Warren Buffett’s lunch auction closed at a record $2.63 million, 24 percent more than the previous highest $2.11 million in 2008, in the 11th annual charity fundraiser. The auction, which started June 6 and ended at 10:30 p.m. New York time yesterday, drew nine bidders and 77 bids, according to EBay Inc. The winning bidder, however, chose to remain anonymous, but gets to bring seven guests for lunch with billionaire investor Buffet at Smith & Wollensky, the New York steakhouse. Buffett’s insights on markets is the attraction of this meet while corporate governance and philanthropy are also discussed, according to past auction winners.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. CEO Buffet has raised about $8.56 million with the auctions to help the Glide Foundation, which serves meals to the needy. Courtenay Wolfe of Salida Capital won last year with a bid of $1.68 million while Zhao Danyang of Hong Kong won the bid in 2008.

“It’s actually a remarkable calibration of his value,” said Jeff Matthews, author of “Pilgrimage to Warren Buffett’s Omaha” and founder of hedge fund Ram Partners LP. “It measures what people think his worth to them is.”

Buffet was ranked the third richest person in the world at a estimated fortune of $47 billion by Forbes magazine in March. He trailed telecommunications investor Carlos Slim and Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates in the worldwide rankings.

My latest find

...I stopped at the local T.J. Maxx store to see what I could find and I discovered another great item for eBay! They had in their clearanced isle some of the boxed Disney Collectibles. I purchased one of the boxed figures that was originally $75 for only $5. Yes, five dollars, can you believe it!

Even the cashier said to me...."Wow, $5 what a deal!" Thus you never know what you can find locally on Craigslist, yard sales or even discount stores. So keep looking for that next deal! Buy local and sell global for steady cash flow! Smiling - Joe

.LeBron James neighbor puts house up for sale on Ebay 06-25-2010

LeBron James neighbor puts house up for sale on Ebay
Digital Sports Daily
June 25, 2010

In the search for clues in the case of LeBron James future plans, it was revelaed this week that James' neighbor is putting up his house for sale on the auctioning website Ebay.

David Barry's 3,548 square-foot home is right next door to Mr. James. The auction currently has 71 bids and the price is at $235,100.00 but the reserve price has not yet been met.

Barry writes in the item description, "Based on the location of this house - and its proximity to neighbor Lebron James, this is an investment you should consider"

Barry also notes that 10-percent of the sale of the home will go to charity "Five percent will go to Lebron James' charity - the Lebron James Charity Foundation - as well as the charity set up in my mother's honor to support the fight against cancer - the Betty Lou Barry Memorial Foundation."

Perhaps Barry knows something we don't or fears the market value for his home will sink if James signs with a new NBA team.

eBay acquires barcode scanning app for iPhone By Larry Dignan

eBay acquires barcode scanning app for iPhone
ZD Net
By Larry Dignan
June 23, 2010

EBay said Thursday that it will acquire RedLaser, a barcode scanning application for the iPhone and related assets from Occipital.

Red Laser has 2 million downloads and is one of the more popular barcode scanning applications. EBay also said it will immediately make Red Laser a free app on the iPhone and increase its selection with 200 million listings and product details from Shopping.com.

EBay didn’t disclose terms of the deal, but the move signals that the company is looking to get a little more mobile and acquire the technology it needs to be a bigger app player. EBay has an iPad app and generates $1.5 billion in gross merchandise volume from its mobile apps.

According to eBay the plan is to integrate Red Laser’s technology with its eBay applications—eBay Marketplace, eBay Selling, StubHub and Shopping.com. The general idea is that eBay’s 10 million users could integrate the comparison shopping tools from Red Laser into their listings. The company’s eBay Selling app will be the first iPhone app to use the barcode scanning technology.

Craigslist vs. garage sales - Helium by Amanda Grace

Craigslist vs. garage sales
Helium
by Amanda Grace

Not long ago when one wanted to rid their home of unwanted stuff and make a few bucks, hosting a garage sale was the only option. As the popularity of using the Internet began to grow, craigslist.org came along, offering people in most major U.S.cities and some foreign countries a way to post and view free ads. The ads can be almost anything, from items you are selling to things you are looking for, all in your local area. The popularity of the site quickly rose, and many began using it as their "clean out the closet"method. So which way is the best way to get rid of things and make money?

Either of these methods are great ways to make money with your no longer needed items. With craigslist, simply post an ad listing the items you have for sale along with the price. Photos are great when selling merchandise, too. Those interested will respond by sending an email to you.

Using craigslist means you won't have to gather all of your stuff and drag it outside and back in again. You won't have to tags to price each item. There's no need to post ads advertising a sale, and you won't need any cash on hand to make change.

However, craigslist takes much longer than a yard sale. You also won't be able to post a lot of the smaller things you could put in a yard sale. Plus, even today there are plenty of people who don't use the Internet! Hosting a garage sale will give your items more opportunity to be seen, increasing the chances of getting it out of the house.

The person sees and wants it. They give you the money, take it with them. The deal is done with a garage sale. Using craigslist may involve several emails and or phone calls. All of the items are gone at one time with a yard sale. Plus you have to consider those who seem interested but never show to look or purchase.

A garage sale is a great activity that the entire family can participate in. It can motivate kids to clean out the toy box and a good way for children to earn a few dollars. They can even set up a lemonade stand or sale cans of juice or ice cream. When the sale is over, call a non-profit agency such as the Salvation Army who will gladly pick up your leftover items.

Akron woman finds out LeBron pendant worth thousands

Akron woman finds out LeBron pendant worth thousands
By Curtis Jackson, NewsNet5/WEWS TV
Wed. July 14, 2010

When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James' number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry.

"I used to go to high school with it around my neck, not knowing the value of it," Robinson said.

Robinson got curious about the pendant's value a few months ago when she noticed the diamonds were set in the same way real ones are. She took it to a local jewelry store for a once-over.

"They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified," Robinson said.

Robinson, 20, who is an amateur boxer, saved $200 to pay for a certified appraisal by the International Gemological Institute. The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She's put the jewelry up for sale on eBay.

Despite the backlash caused by James' decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and play for the Miami heat, Robinson believes the pendant will sell for top dollar.

"LeBron James (sic) brand will never die out," she said.

"If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know."

Just wondering

Who won the contest? I may have missed it but I've looked through the most recent postings all morning. I went to St. Vincent de Paul on Monday and found some deals, but passed up a pet carrier bag that looked brand new, the next day I saw a PCH offer for the same bag for $46 with s/h and I figured I could buy it for a dollar or two and went back on Wednesday and (should have known) it was GONE! The internet on my phone is extremely slow so I don't use it, but I could have called home and had my daughter check it out for me before I decided to leave without it. Just thought I'd share because this happens to me quite a bit. Hindsight is 20/20 right?! If you think about it for a moment, then it's worth a couple of bucks to take a chance. I probably could have made at least a $10 profit on the one item alone, probably more. Pets are a big hit with people everywhere. Thanks for sharing! Still wondering who won? Perhaps it's on the new sight you offer, I need to join that one as well.

Carolyn,

Thanks for stopping by my Epic Journal. We are so appreciative for all the DG Members that downloaded my ebook and the so many DG Members who entered the Fun in the Sun Craigslist/eBay Contest! The winner has not yet been announced however, the finalists have been selected. An announcement will be coming out within the next few weeks and we really aprpeciate everyone's patience and interest. Thanks for sharing your story about the pet carrier bag. It is so true that this could be a niche area as we see several different pet super stores that have opened during the years. It is a big money business for pet toys, items and assessories. Please keep watching as the winners of the Craigslist/eBay Contest will be announced! Looking forward to having you join as a new member of www.sellonlinenetwork.com to share even more insight and information about Craigslist and eBay. Good luck with real estate, Craigslist and eBay! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

Adams heirs skeptical about lost negatives claim AP 07-28-2010

Adams heirs skeptical about lost negatives claim
Associated Press
By CHRISTINA HOAG
July 28, 2010

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – It's an antique collector's dream: buying an old box at a garage sale and discovering it contains famous lost works worth a fortune.

That's what Rick Norsigian said happened to him. Ten years ago, the Fresno painter stumbled upon a trove of 65 old glass negatives that he says have been authenticated as the work of famed nature photographer Ansel Adams, possibly worth $200 million.

"This is absolutely beyond what I thought," the 64-year-old said at a press conference held at a Beverly Hills art gallery on Tuesday. "I'm very lucky."

Norsigian's lawyer Arnold Peter said a team of experts who studied the negatives over the past six months concluded "beyond a reasonable doubt" that the photos were Adams' early work, and they were believed to have been destroyed in a 1937 fire at his Yosemite National Park studio.

"These photographs are really the missing link," he said. "They really fill the void in Ansel Adams' early career."

Adams is renown for his timeless black-and-white photographs of the American West, which were produced with darkroom techniques that heightened shadows and contrasts to create mood-filled landscape portraits. He died in 1984 at 82.

His photographs today are widely reproduced on calendars, posters and in coffee-table books. His prints are coveted by collectors.

Yosemite National Park fetched $722,500 for Ansel print "Clearing Winter Storm" at an auction last month in New York, a record for 20th century photography.

Norsigian, who works for the Fresno Unified School District, is already planning to capitalize on his discovery. He's set up a website to sell prints made from 17 negatives from $45 for a poster to $7,500 for a darkroom print with a certificate of authenticity. A documentary on his quest to have the negatives authenticated is in the works, as well as a touring exhibition that will debut at Fresno State University in October.

Representatives of Adams, however, said they're not buying Norsigian's claims.

"It's an unfortunate fraud," said Bill Turnage, managing director of the Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust. "It's very distressing."

Turnage said he's consulting lawyers about possibly suing Norsigian for using a copyrighted name for commercial purposes. He described Norsigian as on an "obsessive quest." "We've been dealing with him for a decade," he said. "I can't tell you how many times he's called me."

Adams' grandson, Matthew Adams, who heads the Ansel Adams Gallery in San Francisco, said he reviewed Norsigian's authentications last fall and thinks they're stretches. Many photographers took pictures of the same places Adams did in that era, he said.

"There is no real hard evidence," he said. "I'm skeptical."

Norsigian bought the negatives from a man who said he had purchased the box from a Los Angeles salvage warehouse in the 1940s, bargaining the price down from $70 to $45. He saw they were of views of Yosemite but never suspected they might be Adams' works until someone mentioned they resembled the famed photographer's shots. "We got a laugh out of that," Norsigian said.

But the idea stuck with Norsigian and he started researching the photographer, eventually concluding they were Adams' works.

The shots are of places Adams frequented and photographed. Several shots contain people identified as Adams associates. Adams taught at the Pasadena Art Center in the early 1940s, which would account for the negatives being in Los Angeles. The negatives are the size Adams used in the 1920s and 30s and several have charred edges, possibly indicating the 1937 fire.

"You keep adding bits and pieces," Norsigian said.

For years, he tried to get them officially verified, taking them to experts at the Smithsonian Institution, the Getty Center and others, but no one would venture to authenticate them.

Three years ago, he met Beverly Hills entertainment lawyer Peter, who assembled a team of experts to review the negatives.

The key evidence came from two handwriting experts, who identified the writing on the negative sleeves as that of Adams' wife Virginia.

But Matthew Adams said there were inconsistencies in the handwriting and a lot of misspelled Yosemite place names. "She grew up in Yosemite. She was an intelligent, well read woman. I find it hard to believe she would misspell those names," he said.

Peter also hired a meteorologist who studied the cloud formation, snowdrift and shadows on one image and compared it with a similar photograph by Adams, concluding they were taken at the same location on the same day.

But Matthew Adams said those evaporation clouds appear every day and the snowdrift is on mountains 20 miles away. "I suggested carbon dating of the charring and the envelopes," he said.

Matthew Adams said it was unlikely his grandfather would have misplaced the negatives, especially after the devastating fire that destroyed 5,000 negatives — a third of his portfolio. "Ansel was very meticulous about his negatives," he said. "He kept them in a bank vault in San Francisco after the fire."

Beverly Hills art appraiser David W. Streets said he conservatively estimated the negatives' value at $200 million, based on current sales of Adams' prints and the potential for selling never-seen-before prints.

Turnage called that figure ridiculous because the value of Adams' work is in his darkroom handcrafting of the prints, and said the negatives are next to worthless.

"Ansel interpreted the negative very heavily. He believed the negative was like a musical score. No two composers will interpret it the same way," he said. "Each print is a work of art."

Norsigian is not fazed by naysayers. "Prove me wrong," he said. "This has been such a long journey. I thought I'd never get to the end. It kind of proves a construction worker-painter can be right."

Love it!

Love your nick, love your story! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to you guys. I'm Lisa, and I just started. I bought the two books PFRERN and BARM and then I joined the Success Academy. Lotsa great stuff, really information overload! I know I just need to step back and relax and apply these techniques and all will work out.

One thing is, I'm sorta stuck on the first lesson because they have me doing the Marketing Overview which assumes one already knows about RE and I don't. I know I'm going to learn as I go, but the activities I'm supposed to do are based on things that I'm supposed to have already completed so I'm stymied. Anyway, I don't want to be a downer cuz I love this stuff and I know it will work!

I've seen lots of posts from you all over this site and I just wanted you to know that I for one appreciate it all! Smiling

Thanks, Joe

Lisa

Ebay

Hi Joe & Stacey! I just used Ebay for the first time recently and sold a board game for $50.00. (It was a very expensive board game when I purchased it several years ago.)

Anyway, the Ebay system works great! Everyone should use it if they need to make a little cash.

I love reading your posts. You two are wonderful people. Smiling

My girlfriend started using

My girlfriend started using eBay to sell crystals and minerals about the same time I started with DG. She has found some great deals locally from personal contacts of hers, and also some great deals on eBay that she'll buy (usually in bulk), hold for a bit and resell on her eBay store. It's pretty inspiring to watch, and I totally see the similarities with REI. I'm thinking about it myself... just not with crystals and minerals, ha!

Joe and Stacey

Dean says when you are ready the teacher will appear. I believe and trust in the Lord my God to guide and direct me.
I turned on the computer here this Saturday morning and sat down with my breakfast. I checked my hotmail and then brought up DG.com and in the back of my mind I am trying to figure out how in the world I am going to get thru my present predicament.
Do I really want a JOB? Not really. I would rather get my first deal $5000.00 which is realistic per Dean in 30 day to quick cash or $10,000.00 - $40,000.00. I won't give up and eventually I know it will happen.
Back to the teacher appearing. I scanned the threads on the right side of my screen and your thread was on top so I brought it up and it has been here since Jan 4th 2010 but bumped up today just when I need it.
You have done so well since you started this journey and I remember Dean saying that he knew you two were going to make things happen. He was so excited watching the two of you at the first EDGE asking all kinds of questions and taking all kinds of notes. Wow!
I need to learn how to use Ebay and I have not had much luck with craigs list although I do post things to sell. I have to read this thread for starters. Thanks for making this thread.

Joe and Stacey

It doesn't look like anyone even looked at this thread since Sept 27,2010. Amazing with so much helpful info.

I need to do so much more!

Hey Teresa,

Thanks for the nice comments, we appreciate it. Ebay and Craigslist have been good to us over the last several years for clearing the clutter. There is money hidden in your home, and also down your street. I know that Ebay and Craigslist can unlock dollars in your future. Congrats on your recent sale.

Hey Brett,

Thanks for sharing your story about your girlfriend's Ebay sales. The great thing is you can turn hobbies into profits. It is great to see that we can do things we enjoy and make money while doing it.

Many new investors tell me they want to do wholesaling but need start-up cash for some requested earnest deposits. Ebay and Craogslist can provide the cash you need to make better more solid real estate offers with earnest/binder money.

You are so right about the similarities with real estate. Good luck.

Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe
