Just wondering if you can tell me how to start an Investment club, we live in WY and the closest ones are in CO which is a 5 hour drive. I ask the question in the forum but have yet to get any answers. Any direction you can give me would be greatly appricated.

Go to meetup.com and search for an REI Club. If there is no club then you can establish one through them. It costs a small monthly fee, but you can check out if anyone is interested.

Or

If you're looking for free ways to start one, join facebook and create a group. Then when you have a few participants hold your first meeting.

I contacted a local facilty and asked how much to rent the meeting room. Then I got the cost down to per person. I then went on FACEBOOK and prepared a page for the group and started networking from there. REI Club.com is ok, but so convolutted it can take weeks before your posting is even approved and on the board for others to respond to.

Anyhow, that what I did.

Thank you for your help, heading to facebook to start a page. Once I get up and running if I bought u a plane ticket would you consider being a guest speaker? I'd bring u out before the winter unless you like below zero temps! Ha!!!

Anita, I think it is awesome that you are doing a meeting. I really want to come down and check it out. (I'll be the dg member coming from the north.) It seems that it would be so much fun to attend and maybe network, share experiences, learn and meet other dg members that we otherwise only see in the forums.

Sounds like a jolly good time!

on friday. Anita and her crew is just sooo amazing and a big hug to
Anita for plugging me into that free business cards/everything else I ordered
for my business plan. I just sent in for my first free order of Vista cards.
It was great to have finally met you and your lovely wife. It was great to also have met Kimmy. Talking with Anita that night made me feel like I've got back-ups you know what I mean. Like Anita says "Failure Is not an Option". I love that she has planted the seed for all of us newbies and to get our first deal accomplished. I love even more that Dean first planted the seed for her. With that in mind I hope I dont let her down. Or Anita be kicking my butt. Anyways cant wait to see all of you beautiful people at the next months meeting. Umh I think Ill tell Bob Im at a tupperware meeting this time. LOL!

I have been attending Anitas SoCal meetings. I am new to investing and I have to say if anyone is within range of making it to a meeting, it is worth your time. I have met a group of very nice people( hi Jason, Lily, Oscar, Mayo).
Most of all, I feel blessed to have been able to meet Anita. The knowledge gained at the meeting would be worth the price of admission, but sometimes lessons can be learned just by being in the presence of people of inspiration.
"Failure is not an Option" Thank you Anita for being so helpful, you are an Inspiration to us all.

We missed your last meeting unfortunately but please let us know as soon as you have a new one. Is there any chance to move those meetings to a central location in that way there is more options for all the DG friends around LA?
We can't wait to meet you and talk to you, I've been reading all the forums and your knowledge and enthusiasm is always a plus.

I am jealous becasue Anita is so far away or else I would be there. Don't worry though soon you can have a big meet up and I can fly to your mini event or big event who I am to judge. Either way I am happy to see this action taking place opens and stimulates my mind, ideas and creativity. Love yall...
