Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #104 - What's Your Story?

Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog

This week Dean reveals how to have the confidence of Kings and Queens.

You'll learn why it is important to tell people the real reason you're in real estate.

Why not to make excuses when people doubt you, and how to change your future by changing what you tell others.

Watch and see why what you say to others, is what you ultimately believe about yourself. Enjoy.

PS- This marks the end of the second full year of the weekly video blogs. Thank you all for watching and making this site and the blogs such a success!

MAKES ME BETTER

When I listen to you it makes me better thinking about how to serve the people who need what I have to offer. My attitude changes by the answers I give people with the confidence to show them and prove to them that I know what I'm talking about, many of my answers and information come from D G and others that I respect. Thanks Dean EDGAR

Does "Graziosi" mean full of thankfulness? :)

Dean and dg family -- I am in the process of preparing my success story, even though my first purchase is yet in the future. Today's blog really hit home, as I have told people for years that I am a real estate investor and now what I hear is "You've said that for years, but nothing's happened," etc. I've made a few stabs at talking with professionals about the business, with such negative responses that it kind of scared me away. I realize that I now apologize for not giving up, and have begun to doubt that I can actually succeed -- and I am sure this feeling shows. Writing my "success story" has made me realize I truly DO have life issues, but not one is insurmountable. If Carol Stinson can do this, I know I can, too. With God's help, I will achieve my dreams of first helping myself so that I am in a position of being able to offer practical help to others. Thank you, Dean. You are one of the few positive people around. Happy thanksgiving to you and all the dg family!! Dena

Thanks Dean

Dean you are so right, as I prayed this morning I became aware of the fact that I often say "I'm going to try to put out some bandit signs or try to find the right real estate agent and most times they don't get done. I should be saying I'm going to find the perfect RE agent by any means neccessary. Up until this point there hasn't been any real definiteness in what I'm saying or doing. I know I can make money, I know what you teach works, from watching so many others that are succeeding. I am going to succeed in Real Estate investing, I'm going to set up a new schedule today of my Real estate hours and commit to action. Sometimes truth hurts, but the Bible says "Faithful are the wounds of a friend". Thank you for being a real friend.

Dean You're Right

Real Estate is a great investment vehicle, and we have to believe in what we are doing in order to be successful. We talk a lot about the quote, "as a man thinketh, so is he". We have to believe that we are there before we get there. "Fake it 'til you make it", or "live it until it becomes a reality".

Thanks,

Ty

Fake it till You Make It

Dean, your message was insightful and exactly what I needed today. Im meeting with a great RE agent tomorrow and I feel things (NO, I know things will start to pop). Thank you for all your teaching and encouragement.

Sincerely,

Steve

Well I could not have said

Well I could not have said it better myself. To anyone out there that may read this, this is honestly the best advice I can give you... Why does it matter if you have approval from people around you? When you chose whatever job or career did those people tell you that it was a bad idea or that there's no future in it. My guess is no. Hey at the very least there is a steady paycheck in it right? People fear the unknown, they tend to mock, or in most cases, outright bash what they don't understand.

Let the negative influence, the nay-sayers or those that just flat out dismiss this idea all together go in one ear and out the other. See what their attitude is like when you are closing deals like nothing. My guess is that you will see a huge difference in their opinion.

Best of luck to all of you and to your continued success.

Terry.

GOOD ADVICE.

I understand Fake It Until You Make It,i'm calling

those things that be not as I wish them to be.

Thanks Again Dean.

Positive Attitude

Hi Dean:

Do you really read our comments on your blog or are you just faking it? (lol) As I have stated on the blog the last couple of weeks, we are lending at Private Money Bank. Do you have a deal under contract? If yes, we can lend up to 65% of the puchase price. We beleive that you should have some skin in the game, that is why we limit our loans to 65% of the purchase price. For people who have money to invest, we offer very good returns. (a high yield plus 2 points) And you don't tie up your money for longer than six months. If you are interested, please visit my website at www.privatemoneybank.com/bbell

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family.

Regards,
Bruce Bell

Thank you DEAN

make it real - that's what faking it til you make it means to me - make it real, others see you as real, you will make it - move to the next level as Dean says - he is right right right!

Confidence

Zion Properties's picture

I will admit as I get more and more experience, I am gaining more an more confidence. Sure, learning the material builds knowledge, but the getting out and doing it, and then success through each step and any obstacles that come in the process really is building my confidence.

One of my goals on this journey centers around rebuilding a loss of self confidence that's dwindled over the years. I related so much to Carol Stinson when she talked at the beginning of the Edge.

Its hard to put into words what doing deals and getting through the experience is doing to reshape ME... I'm being totally rehabbed right along with my latest rehab acquisition. Sticking out tongue (My latest concern was the ARV on this rehab, but the ARV appraisal came back with flying colors, actually much higher than my conservative calculations. Eye-wink )

Thanks Dean for always having encouraging and uplifting things to contribute and giving the needed push and information to all of us!

Thankful

Hey Dean and the DG family!

Thanks for everything you all have done, continue to do and will do in the future for the rest of us and to the rest of you who share your experiences and likemindedness on this forum in the hopes that someone else may benefit from your mistakes and personal knowledge, may God bless you and your families ten fold this Thanks Giving holiday. Thanks Dean for another great blog, have fun with your family!

What I'm Thankful For!

Success32's picture

Hi Dean, Your post is so appropriate for this holiday, and I know it hit home with so many of us. I just wanted to share that your programs and this community are at the top of my list for what I am thankful for this year! And I wouldn't have come this far if it weren't for this site and your constant encouragement. (Mind you, I still haven't done my first deal, but I'm refering to my mindset and my business development.) I think that everyone starting out needs that extra bit of encouragement and a place to feel understood. I have just recently joined the Success Academy and having access to such experienced educators is invaluable, but I still find myself needing to visit this site often because I enjoy interacting with others who are at the same place I am presently. It's just that feeling of comeraderie!

SO THANK YOU DEAN AND THANK YOU DG FAMILY!

Absolutely

Thanks Dean,
I agree with you and all of the comments that I have read so far. It's important to believe in yourself even if others don't. I'm getting to the level of not even trying to convince someone else; it's me that needs to get out there and do it even if I make mistakes. Well, the time is now and I'm going to succeed. God Bless to you and the entire DG family. Have a great Thanksgiving.

I believe you get what you focus on and when I focus on staying confident, I stay in the book and the Success Academy gives me answers to those that ask me why I am getting involved in real estate. I can even answer their questions and warnings. Like be careful not to......and look out for the IRS....don't put much money in the.....And I can address every concern or objection they tell me. It's amazing! Thanks, Dean

Here Is My Reason

I want a better life for myself. My children have to build their own lives. That does not mean, I will not suppose them in their venture. I have sacrificed and supported the family, now I need my life back. That's it, LOL.

Sandra

Thanks DEAN

its amazing how u can say so much in less then 5 mins

Hello Dean and Happy 42nd Birthday to you

I thank you so much for your wisdom and understanding. I am following your lead to the best of my ability and practicing some creative destruction so i can move ahead. Happy Thanksgiving too.

Overload: My Life :)

It may sound like and appear that things aren't going forward.
However, challenges are being dealt with and one problem I have is 'over involvement.'
My Mom passed away Sept. 20th, 2010 after a Seven Year illness. Confined for Five years. I was her family caregiver. She had the 'best of care' and was well taken care of. She was a 'believer in Jesus Christ' and was 'so ready to go home.' She saw visions of Jesus, the Angels, her two sons gone on before her, her Mama and said, 'Take me to Mama!'
My daughter sang 'The Old Rugged Cross' to her and Mom asked, 'Will you take me there?'
She was in a 'Hospice House-end of life care facility' with beautiful, attentive, caring 'end-of-life nurses, her doctor and family for eight
days.'
Twelve children, 10 boys, 2 girls. Mom said that 12 children were NOT cheaper by the dozen! I took her to the Movie and she commented: 'You children were NOT that bad!' Thanks MOM.'
So now, she would want me to do some things I want to do. And, I am. One of my desires & interest is R.E. Especially, since my own home is in jeopardy.
I have become overwhelmed with the Legal part of
being 'authorized to do all the things I am reading and learning that we do!'
However, step by step, I will get there.
Thanks for the encouragement in todays Video: 'What's Your Story?'
Mine is 'Change that is for the good of my life, health and financial future!'
DG Real Estate Success Academy, Books, Videos ETC. are all helping me do 'Just That.' One step at a time.
Prayers accepted & appreciated because Jesus cares.Smiling
Still here!

Exactly!

It's amazing how the mind works. Many of us realize that we all have several levels of consciousness. The Conscious and the Sub-Conscious. The Sub-Conscious takes in everything therefore garbage in, equals garbage out. Keep telling yourself all the positive things to yourself and that will be put into your subconscious mind and reflect out through your conscious mind. This is why prayer is the most positive thing you can do whether you are religious or not, prayer is something that is positive that you say to yourself which done properly becomes ingrained in the subconscious mind. Beware because the exact happens with nonconstructive thoughts. Thus garbage in = garbage out. Be good, be honest, and above all believe in yourself.

Live in Freedom or Live in Feardom. Your choice.

Thanks again Dean, for the reminder and inspiration to be all that we can be. As well as how to live there.
