Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #121 - The Joy Of the Express Lane

Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog

Dean just returned from a week of travel and he's on fire in this blog.

He talks about the difference between struggling for years to achieve your goals and jumping in the express lane.

He covers so many important points in this video blog, that listing them all would be futile. So I'll just ask you to be prepared to listen fast and absorb another great message.

Nothing less then the best!

Thanks Dean for constantly striving to keep your DG Family on track. I have a friend that I'm going to use the seven levels on. I know it will help her and myself. The one thing I can say why I joined this wonder family is that it is fulled with like-minded people just like you Dean. Always willing to help. Always inspirational. Most of all You are real and you really care that your students are getting the best information that there is! Thanks Dean for all your hard work. As you see on this site it is well appreciated!

Dean,
I have always felt a little guilty not giving more and more to the charities that I support.
Your description of helping self and family first then moving forward to bigger things really hit home with me.
I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Thank you for helping me to get focused and move on.

Helping others

Mathedragon's picture

As always your right and we just have to push ourselves a little farther in helping others as well as ourselves it would really be nice knowing that their are people out there that care for other people like you dean and thats what we all need is help!

Wife's answer stumped me

Flip_Kid's picture

I tried doing this my wife, because she just got laid off from her job a few weeks ago and she is now deciding to help me with real estate so we can generate even more income with REI.

I asked her why she decided to start helping me with real estate investing, and she said it was because I had already spent so much time, money and resources into it, that it only made sense for her to help me.

That answer stumped me, because I didn't know how to get any deeper after that.

Any suggestions for a next question?

whats important to you?

many things are important differently to each one

of us.thank you for shareing some secrets that is

good for all of us.gold nuggets.you have a heart

of gold. i appreciate you. blessings to you,and

Trying to take the express lane to get to my why!!!

Hello Dean,

THANK YOU again for your wonderful email blogs! They are SO helpful to my spirit right now especially!!!

I am almost 1 month into training with the Success Academy and I am soooo hoping that this will be a GREAT week! (I would love to be in a deal in my first 45 days and I am soooo, soooo trying.)

And thank you for reconfirming that there is a much stronger reason (in addition to my wanting a better life for myself as well) for wanting to make it in real estate.

I really do want to be bigger in giving and bigger in all avenues of life and I do think this would be a great way for me to get there!

Thank you Dean,

Michelle

You have hit the Nail on the head Dean: we do want security first for ourselves then to be able to reach out and help others.. I have just submitted an offer on a REPO: thats what we call them in Canada..out of town and am doing the deal electronically.this makes life so much easier than doing a 4 hour drive there and back especially when prices in my neck of the woods are through the roof and out of town can be purchased with my Line of Credit.(just another way to use OPM )..What is privet Lending ?

Exactly That...

Wow, you always amaze me with your weekly blogs.
I never looked at why I wanted to make money with real estate this way but when I tried your seven level deep questions it all comes together. I want more money so that I can exactly do that, feel secure. Then build security for my son who was diagonosed as a schizophrenic. I dread thinking that my husband and myself will not always be around to help him and that is my big goal. Enough to make sure someone will be able to help him. I also have bigger dreams as well. I guess we all do but these are my main ones for now. Thanks for sharing such words of wisdom.. now I need to get going and take action.. Smiles to you..

The house was paid however after he died she missed 1 tax payment and someone bought a tax note.Is there anyone out there who knows where I can pull up the information. I have tried contacting the guy that has the note but has not returned my calls.I got some general information on a website I had to pay to get information I already had knowledge of.

Hi, The guy that has the

AzDego's picture

Hi,

The guy that has the note is useless to you. He won't contact you because you need to resolve it with the county assessor. He hopes you DON'T pay. I'll explain below.

The county assessor should have the information you need. I know of no state where a person will lose there house after missing one tax payment.

You may already know this, but the county holds tax lien auctions to recoup the revenue they lose when property taxes are not paid. It essentially works like this. Jack fails to pay his property tax.

The county sells a lien on his property to Jill. Jack still has a specif amount of time to pay his back tax on the property, (usually 1-3 years, varies by state).

When Jack pays the tax, plus late fees, the county sends Jill a check for the amount she paid, plus interest and the lien is released.

IF Jack does NOT pay the taxes in time, Jill has the right to foreclose on the property - AND HERE IS THE RUB. Even if there is an existing mortgage, Jill can get the house free and clear because tax liens hold first position.

So, CALL the county assessors office with the address of the property. Find out what is owed and pay it.

Loving it Dean!!

This is what it's all about, being given the opportunity to make a difference for yourself and your family....through REAL ESTATE! : ) And Dean, my answer to your question about why Real Estate? Three words: Fulfillment of SUCCESS! I as well as anyone else would of course do Real Estate Investing for the money, but it goes so much more deeper than that. I don't just want to eliminate all of my debt, afford the things I want, move on to the next chapter in my life, and be financially free....I also wanna give back to my family and all those in my life that have truly been a blessing to me. To not only make others proud and show them what I'm capable of, but to also make a long lasting impression in people's lives and make a name for myself that will forever be remembered!

Love the last part of your blog about help nominating a family in need of help, I thought that was super awesome! You do have one of the biggest hearts out there and that is something I will always admire about you Dean and will continue to pursue for myself as well. Thanks for another awesome blog Dean and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care!

Andre

I will get to that clearing on the other side of the woods, but unfortunately, I am one of those who has to zig-zag and get bitten, because I'm too poor to get the path direction you offer. However, I am talking to local people w/money, it's slow going, but I'll get to that clearing eventually, hopefully before it's too late! At the moment, I can't pay my taxes and may lose and have to start over. My goal is to become a Philanthropist. I will plod on!

helping people

jcwp's picture

Another great video daen! Helping people is a good feeling, even the little things we do. I was in the parking lot of my local Credit union and a older women with a cane got out of her car and was heading into the credit union. She was having a hard time stepping up on the sidewalk. I walked over to her and gave her my arm and helped her walk into the credit union. She was to greatful. Something so simple made me feel so good. I also help families in my Real estate by offering owner financing or Lease options to families who have had a hardship and help them on their way to be homeowners.
Thanks again Dean,

Count Me In

Dean, I've been looking for that express lane, but I can't blame anyone else for not making it through the forest. I have not found the time to do what I know I should be doing to make this work. I think for most of us it's easier to make excuses than do the job. I think helping a worthy family pull it all together is an awsome idea. Whoever had that idea is truly a good person. Many times we get stuck in that forest and give up. These are hard times, and it's easy to blame it on hard times, but we still have our families to provide for, and there are needs all around us. We need to keep the faith and do what we can to help everybody through. God doesn't expect anything from me that I can't do, but He expects us all to do everything we can.

Amazing

I was thinking how amazing the whole organization truly is and what you've created. Every blog & conference calls, the new ideas you and your staff, partners & students come up with. The training itself. Well, it's just amazing! Thanks just doesn't cut it. There has got to be a better word!

I can hear the passion

Dean

Hey great blog this week. I have been listening for a long time and can really hear the passion in your voice and words. Coaching, mentoring, teaching and just helping others is a such a wonderful gift that you can give others and I admire you for that. Thanks for being here every week and motivating all of us at the DG Family with your perspective and enthusiasm. It helps more than you can know!! Fear has always stopped me personally and its time to break through. Thanks for the inspiration...

family to help

Dean,
I believe it was about a month or so ago here in Phoenix on the nightly news came a touching stroy about a family that came to our great country as refuges - they had lost everything! They were here in the valley and begining to be able to breath alittle from lifes harsh realities... then tradegy struck... they lost everything AGAIN! when a fire ravaged through their home... not sure their current situation but I would be very happy to nominate 'this family' as a family to help.
Thanks for your generosity ..as always.

Thanks

I'm new to the site and have only seen a few of your videos. What I've found inspiring is your transparency. Too often people seem to hide behind their computer screen as well as their product. You seem to be very sincere in your messages. I've never seen that with any other real estate expert. They always seem to be too concerned with the marketing and sale of their products. I don't get that sense from you.
I ordered your books recently and will be getting involved soon. Keep up the 'good' work.

today's blog

This is exciting. It's always good to help people in any manner. I started reading Think a Little Different. I liked book one the best to start my real estate career. Then I listened to the night show and bought the book Profit From Real Estate RIGHT NOW. This sounds amazing. I have read about half of the book so far. I am busy right now. Up at 4:00 am and get home at 5:00or 6:00 pm. Then it is bedtime at 9 - 9:30.Reading time is lean but gets done. I would have liked to have gone to the class, but I am slim on money at the moment. I NEED TO SELL A HOUSE. I really like Matt's system. That is what I want to do. Thanks for everything. E
