Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #43 - Click and Pick to Help Dean Create "Our" Next Book

In this week’s blog Dean asks for your help in choosing a cover for our next book.

His brilliant design team put together six different covers and Dean liked them all so much, that he couldn't decide on the best one.

So, who better to help decide on a cover for our new book than you?!

So, please take a look and click and pick your favorite.

(Did you notice that it's being referred to as "our" next book and not "Dean's" next book?).

Well that is not a mistake...see if you can figure out why when you watch this week’s video.

Take a look at the covers below and vote fopr your favorite!

Best Cover

jeaston444's picture

Hi Dean,

Best - #5 (very professional looking, but it could use the watermark of the building like a few others)

Worst - #2 & 3 (the color of cliche infomercial hype)

eh, okay - #1 and #6 (I could vote for them maybe, but not as striking as #5)

Near miss - #4 (the red lettering doesn't add anything)

My criteria: which would catch my eye in a book store and make me want to stop and pick it up to take a look. The greens really are too tacky. I've seen too many "get rich quick" type books with the cash green color on their covers. Keep it professional. You have a lot of credibility now and you want it to keep growing. Don't follow the crowd, keep being the leader you are.

Dean Cover #4 Is Smokin

franco50's picture

Hey Dean

The one that really stands out to me is #4. It has the colors of burning fire . The color scheme is great . It really represents how fired up you really are about your business, and that burning passion inside to help others achieve with the knowledge and grace you have in real estate .
I believe # 4 is going to Rock!
Go For it!

Cover #4

I vote for #4. It has a bright look about it while #5 is too plain. The rest are too dark and Dean gets lost in the background. So, for me, cover #4 gets my vote. I wish you good success with the new book regardless of which cover is used.

Hi Dean thanks for all the hard work of you and your team. It's really cool that you let us have some input on your new book. I think i like cover #3 the best, its just something that would catch my eye in a store. I actually live a few towns away from where you grew up. I haven't done my first deal yet but i know it's going to happen soon. Thanks for all the great encouragement!

# 3 is the ticket

Green is a positive mood color and being positive is the key. Best of luck with the new book.

Cover #4 would be our choice.

Dean Graziosi's new book cover

Hi Dean,
Thanks so much for involving others of my peers and myself to give input as to your new book cover. I would vote for cover #6, as it stands out above the other five in my opinion. In addition, the light blue color, to me, exudes a sense of peace and calmness.

Thanks so much for taking time to make us successful and helping us, including myself, make our dreams come true and have confindence in ourselves and our God-given ability. You're such a blessing to us.

May God richly bless you, your family and give you the needed strength, wisdom and knowledge to get the new book done. I pray that your new book will be a best seller. Again, thanks for believing in us and helping us make our dreams come true.

Best wishes,

Daniel C. Ajamiseba

Thanks so much Dean for changing my thinking and my life; love those colors, just glad you chose to stay with that award-winning smile of yours on the cover!!

Fantastic

This is a great idea (a pre-screening). It looks as if the majority is leaning toward #6, but I chose #1 because it catches the eye yet isn't in your face. It feels warming and genuine to look at and with the black letters instead of the red like #4, it doesn't existentially jump out at you like a car salesman.

Good luck on the new book, I can't wait to read it!!!!!

Number 3

I vote for number, the green cover. Green is the buzz word for today's economy. Green symbolizes the color of our money. Green color represents the green color of the trees that surrounds us. If your are surrounded by green trees your environment is cool and your athmosphere is like you are in Paradise. Green for me represents the explosives real estate blessing that coming on the horizon...I can feel it coming to the hands of each of every member of the Dean's family. I bet you Dean...by this book alone will bring more blessings not only for you but to all your Dean's family students and other family and students more to come...dom

COVER #4 PACKS THE PUNCH!

I vote for #4. It has high energy with those colors! Blue is too relaxed and Green is too dark and drab. I think the message of the book should co-incide with the color of the cover. Is it a teaching/motivational book or just a relay of stories. Not knowing what is inside makes it just a guess....but observing you and how you operate....the highly energized motivating colors of the orange, yellow and red are what I think would be most appropriate. Book #1 is missing the mark because of the purple lettering. That's why #4 is my vote!

Book Cover

Hello,
I think cover 4, looks very exciting, the
colors saids it all.

cover#6

I started with #4 but in the end blue is my favorite color. It feels more classy

book cover

Hello Dean et al, I think cover #3. 'we're on fire' Thanks for all you do.

Rick

They all rock BUT...

BLue is classic and CLASSY...just like Dean and his staff. Blue background is a cut above the rest.

My vote goes to #4!

Dean,

I was torn between #1 and #4. From a marketing standpoint, the yellow is eye catching. It draws people to it. It will standout from all the other books on the shelf. As an example, take all the covers and stand them on a shelf and see which color stands out and you will see what I mean. I really like the "profit" word in red. Its bold and it means stop to read me and that is what you want the buyer to do. Also, I like the word formating on #5 with more wordings above your head and "profit" underlined. It puts emphasis on profit which is what everyone is looking for. On the yellow cover, the fonts near your face are too large, it makes it look too busy. The smaller fonts near your face is better. Remove the exclamation point from behind the word "profit!" and place it behind the word "...taught me!" To me, this will show how proud and excited you are about what you have learned from your students too.

Thank you for lettings us participate and make comments on the cover. I can't wait to read the book. May God bless you and the sales on this book!!!

COVER!!!!!!

I choose #6.......because it has a good, clear picture of you and it has all the right colors in attention titles....Thank you

Book cover #1

Hi Dean,

Although blue is my favorite color and your blue cover looks great, you need to use cover# 1 since the yellow is bright like the sun. Its brilliance will stand out in book stores and when on display on TV and elsewhere and will give the feeling of bright illumination, which is the exact idea you are trying to convey.

Book cover selection.

Hi Dean,

I can see why you were having a tough time deciding which cover to choose. All of them are very tastefully done and speak well to your talented staff.

However, all of that being said and after inspecting and reinspecting some more, I clearly select book cover number 6 as my favorite. Whatever your decision, I'm sure the contents will be value specific as are all your publications!

Good luck ....

Best,

Ralph B.

#5

number five is nice and clean!

# 6 Feels Real!

Hi Dean,

# 6 is the one it looks and FEELS Real.
The font and blue just ring true.

Great book idea.

Book cover choice

All look really good but in the last two--the white and blue--Is it me? Dean appears smaller than in the other covers. Anyway, the blue background with Dean's picture the same size of covers #1-4, would be it for me. It looks professional. I also like the green ones (color of money) but in the darker one there are those lines under the wording at the top and it's a little too dark and the lighter one seems kind of washed out. A green in between those without the lines at the top would be great. With the orange and red, I think the blue wording makes all the other colors more vibrant than the black wording does, and Dean's complexion looks healthiest. The cover colors remind me of a beautiful sunset. So, of all, without changing it at all, Cover #1 gets my vote.

I like # 6 and really love the title.

Great Covers

Dean-
Thanks for letting us participate in another challenge to grow with the DG family. I love the vibrant colors. Again the choices are tough, my favorite is between 4 & 6. Both stand out. I love the yellow cover, it is eye catching. Congradulations on the new book and can not wait to get one.

Best of luck,
Kim

book #1

Book #1 shows a nice variation of nice colors and shows yourself well on the cover. The yellow attracts your attention to it like a sign on a building site or for advertisement. Book #6 would be my second choice .
