Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #78 - Even If You Don't Garden, You Still Plant!

The question is, what are you growing with the seeds you sow? Want to ensure that what you plant produces a good harvest? Then watch this weeks V-blog to find out.

Planting A Seed

aerospaceman's picture

When you invest in yourself the very first time, you plant a seed that seems to never die. You trend towards educating yourself for the rest of your life. Some say that learning is a life long adventure and that is very true if you embrace that concept. We should all embrace life and try to live each day as if it is our last...its harder than you think which is why a support structure such as the DG Family is here to help us strive to that goal. Dean, thank you again for such a strong message. It really hits the spot, not to mention the green thumb in all of us LOL. Nice backyard Dean.

What's To Gain

Thanks Dean for another excellent blog. When I see the products of someones hard work, I feel they should be commended for reaching that milestone. We all have to appreciate where we are currently and what we have accomplished. We also have to be cognizant that our lives are not ours, and when the master calls, we have to be ready. With that said, we have to learn to live, love, learn, share, and at all times, give thanks.
Participating on this site, as well as talking to investors and agents, I have learned a great deal about real estate. This will set in motion the path I intend to take to gain financial independence. God Bless.

Weekly Video Blog #78

Hi Dean,

I've been out of service for the last week or so with computer problems. I might have burned it up trying to figure out a way to change my reality, making it possible to attend the E.D.G.E. event. I joined up here shortly after the E.D.G.E. 2009 but I told myself that I'd surely be in a position to attend this year. When it became obvious that I couldn't make it happen, I guess I'd have to admit I was disappointed and envious. However, after checking the rule book, I found that in Proverbs 14:30 we are told “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones”. Nuf said for me…

Last year when you made the home study course available, I bought it, even though I didn't have the money. I just knew that I needed to have it so I could be as near as possible to where the others were in terms of what they learned at the live event. Unfortunately, if the E.D.G.E. 2010 is available in a home study form, I won't be able to get it. Considering that I had to scrape up the money to buy the books, it's easy to see that I operate on a rather thin budget. Then came the E.D.G.E. home study course, the 800# service, marketing materials (business cards, flyers, etc.) enrolling in the Success Academy, plus incidentals along the way. And I haven't sold anything yet.

I had someone network the two CPU’s. I don’t have any built in knowledge about computers. I didn’t have the benefit of having computers in school. In fact, I was 29-30 when I got my first computer. Anyway, I’m still having a little bit of a problem getting it in sync with the printer. I guess I could say I haven't been able to ride the roller coaster lately but I'm moving up in the line and I'm almost there. I'm ready to ride again!!!

Dean, you're amazing. Even though your plate is full to overflowing, you managed to make a video blog for us last week and again this week. Your inspirational words and direction are so helpful that I think if you were to suddenly stop the weekly video blog, I wouldn't even want to imagine the body count that would be left in its place. The people that look forward to and count on your encouraging words to keep them between the ditches would be, to varying degrees, lost and like a ship without a rudder. I'm not trying to heap more pressure on you than you already have, I'm simply wanting you to know how much you are appreciated and how grateful we are for the sacrifices you make in order to provide us with the weekly video blog that we have come to rely on for balance, focus and direction at the start of each week.

Thanks again, Dean, for everything. I hope the EDGE 2010 Live Event was everything you wanted it to be. G O D B L E S S Y O U !

Always great!!

Just to listen to you talk to us is the best inspiration I can ask for. I have been with the DG site for over a year and haven't bought or assigned anything yet, and not having any person around me be at all positive about doing this is a sad thing. But I know I will do a assignment soon because I listen over and over to you tell me I can do this and I am a part of your Academy so I have started calling these FSBO's and you tell me it will happen so I just keep on keeping on.

Thank you Dean for all of your wonderful enthusiasm and heartfelt videos.

Can't believe I beat Joe to the comments!!!

Thanks again for your weekly blog! It was great meeting you, your wife, as well as all the fellow DGers. They all made me feel like I was part of a big family! And they were all real people. I met a ton of people and it was great to finally meet some of the DGers that I have met on-line only.

These are the kinds of people that everyone needs to get around, after all "You become like the people you associate with".

Thanks again, see you on the stage at the EDGE next year.

Nurturing the garden

mbjoseph's picture

Love these weekly blogs and am getting addicted to them. It was great meeting you in person! The EDGE was GREAT! One of the things I wrote in my workbook was "3 positives for every negative!" I think we all need that and we all need to nurture the seeds we are growing.

The house I'm in now started with a dirt backyard and one big cactus! Now it has wild flowers and a lawn and I'm so proud of how it looks. Did it happen overnight? Absolutely not! So, I have to also remember that it takes time to nurture the business that I'm growing and that not all plants survive in this hot desert weather. If one doesn't work, then I re-plant and try another. Eventually I will have a full garden.

It was great to meet so many wonderful people!

P.S. The Gain the EDGE 10 exceeded all expectations as a good number of students were still buzzing with excitement at 12 midnight as we met near the pool area!

Gratitude

Truer words were never spoken. You spoke of this in your books and I have been incorporating it into my life. It takes life to a whole new level. It affects how I interact with people. It changes the inside of me, which changes what I am attracted to and how others are attracted to me. The money is important, no doubt, and I would rather go to my challenges in style any day, but the real reward is what it makes me into and how much more fullfilling life has become even with the ups and downs. Today I will start my gratitude list with you Dean. I am grateful for you and for how you humbly lead by example and share the wisdom that costs you a small fortune to obtain. Have a great day from Mary-Ellen in Ct

Inspiration

Your message mirrors exactly what our Pastor spoke about this Sunday. Thank you for the inspiration. My day to day job keeps me busy, then I go home to a personal project that drowns me. But, as you say "be grateful everyday”
I'm grateful for 1) my family, 2) my church and 3)my health.

Thanks
Shannon - Ohio

Great video today! You are so right, to be thankful for the wonderful things that we have around us and in our lives.
Positive attitude, that is what it takes. When I keep a positive attitude good things happen. Smile more and other people smile back. It is contagious like someone yawning.
Have a wonderful and positive week! I know your EDGE event was great! My partner and I will be there next year!!

Be blessed,
Donna

You're right Dean, it's easy to say "be grateful" but it's another thing to implement that technique into you and your family's life. I'll start now:
1. I'm grateful to have the Lord, Jesus Christ directing my path in this abundant life he's blessed me with both in this world and after it.

2. I'm grateful to have a wonderful, beautiful, supportive wife and a healthy daughter, an absolutely fabulous family.

3. I'm grateful that the right person came into my life to show me how to learn and be successful investing in real estate and that I can look forward to a different future for my family.

Wow, this really made me feel great!! Thanks Dean

Great way to start the week!

I recently read a book by Dr Wayne Dyer - EXCUSES BE GONE I highly recommend it. He and you are right on target for how to shed those things we all use to prevent us from taking action. Thanks for you inspirational thoughts.

Positive thoughts

daphnemadsen's picture

Hi Dean,
I had started using the positive slant on everything years ago when I attended a class which taught its better to say for instance "remember to bring blank home" vs "don't forget to bring blank home". I have continued that idea while raising our 13 year old son. I think what you just pointed out will also be VERY helpful now that we have entered the teenage years. I will let you know how it goes!

Keep on sending us nuggets of wisdom!

Our thanks go out to you Dean

Hi Dean,

Thank you for reminding us about gratitude. It is so easy to want to fall into complaining, especially with financial difficulties. This is
a very good way to stop the grumpies. I hope that young man survived his battle with cancer. When you have your health you have everything.

Gratitude brings the right attitude. We are thankful to God for bringing you to us and being apart of the DG family. Thank you again for allowing us to have the opportunity to make
extra cash with Joe's book and also giving away a trip and free prizes. So grateful for that.

Thank you for taking the time for us.

Being Grateful

Dean,

Once again you have managed to say exactly the right thing at exactly the right time. After having suffered through some recent set-backs with my health and our business, I'm overwhelmed by the timing of this message. Dean, you are always right on target and for that I am truly grateful. You have a way of making us accountable for not only success in our business ventures, but also as human beings.

I'm grateful for having met you, (through your blogs, books and conference calls). I'm grateful for faith, love, and family. Keep up the good work that you do, and THANK YOU for always being there.

Thanks

Another great video blog. Your words are always inspirational and encouraging. Keep doing what you are doing. You are doing great things for the masses. More people that have been blessed like you have should be doing a greater good for all as well.

Gratitude and Planting Seeds

Hi Dean,
Great blog... and I like the gratitude tip. But I realized some time ago that I must be Marketing, Marketing and doing some more MARKETING to get leads. So that's what I'm concentrating on now is marketing. Planting those seeds to see what leads they may grow up to be. Thanks for being a great inspiration to me and all those at DG.com Please keep it up.

Inspiration

Thank you for your messages that inspired me to keep going even when I didn't think I could.

Now I can't believe all the positive responses I am getting from buyers. One person said: "find me the house and you will get your finder's fee". I had my script in front of me and I didn't have to finish it. He told me what he wanted and that was that!

Thank you for everything.
