Because when I first started Learning real estate from you i faked it till I made it.NOW I get EXCITED talking to top real estate millionaires.
Your communication with the investors at an auction is right on ....first RELATE to them ......make it about THEM......then tell them what you can do for THEM!¡.......
Im going to a tax auction next week and im going to talk to EVERY BUYER there and STRESS I am capable of finding THEM THE BEST DEALS THEY EVER HAVE SEEN......
thanks for all you do for us dean! !! Proud to be a part of this awesome site! !!

Well needed Encouragement - thx Dean!

Valler's picture

You know... I've been so busy with work while devoting CRAZY amount into making this a success. I've got a great amount of small success and a great deal of hurtles to overcome... and it can be frustrating to say the least. But I have to say... this video gave me some of that WELL NEEDED encouragement that I needed to move forward. I'm well on my way!

Working 3 jobs... You know... the problem, if there is one is often with me... but that's also where the solution lies as well. I got to do this for myself. That's it...

thanks Dean... one of my favorite quotes I heard when I was in the Marines... "All it takes is all you got!"

Dean... thanks for the shot! (if ya remember me S+R=0) The Golden nugget... Your situation + Your response = Your Outcome

First Weekly Widsom

Dean:

I'm new to this interactive community as well as to Real Estate Investing. I'm still exploring the site...updated my profile, posted my first topic to the Financing and Credit Forum ("Funding: Executing a Judgment Lien against Real Estatee"), and experienced your Weekly Wisdom Blog for the first time.

It was spot on, and I really appreciate the root of the message that distinguishes between being Intelligent and being (enthusiastically) Smart.

Thanks for sharing,

Ladyluck

Great point

Not only was this funny but so true. A person's attitude makes the difference between deal or no deal. A genuine good attitude that comes from the inside with confidence affects the whole outcome of a situation.

Great wisdom point.

Blog

This was very encouraging. Good advice. I was at the point does any of these techniques really work. Are there really any true no money down strategies.

weeky wisdom #151...needed to hear that!

Without confidence, there is no enthusiam. good video, right around the time I needed to hear the most. I was begining to lose my ethusiam, simply by losing my cofidence because of the unknown. Where there's a will there's a way! Grab the bull by its horn's and go! Thank's for being a motivator as-well!

weekly vlog 151

HI Dean,I much prefer the 'real you', TO THE SUBDUED 'proper' you! I watch you just for the happy attitude and sincerety that flows from you in each message. I know you truly do want to HELP people 'get' the Real Estate business. Thanks for being the inspiration that you are!

Be real

jcwp's picture

I am so late getting to this weeks blog!

Being genuine and enthusiastic is way more effective than attempting to impress with big words or that over confident approach. Be real, and get excited!!

I loved the blog this week!

Julie

Love it!

Great blog! So true, Excitement creates excitement and negative energy created negative energy!

The way you present yourself to buyers is the way they remember you, first impressions last a life time so be EXCITED!!! The buyer you talk to may be the one that propels you to financial freedom!

Every buyer you add and every deal you do puts one more stepping stone on your path to financial freedom... NOW THAT'S SOMETHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT!!!!

Such an eye-opening reminder!

Your ability to act is as good as your ability to enthuse! I find myself gloomy sometimes and others realize it immediately, before I do and bring it to my attention! When we are happy it rubs off and that alone may make them call back. I only hope that I can inspire others half as much as you inspire me Dean. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soon I'll be thanking you all the way to the bank!
My Best to You,
Carolyn

well

I do believe you scared everybody. Thanks for the info. PLS do not scare us again.

Wkly Wisdom Blog151

Dean, I know your common sense approach to doing business in real estate is simple as it sounds, a person might not beleive it. But, we all know that a conversation can lead to many things. a reduction in price on a shirt you want to buy,or maybe satisfying a dispute over a bill we've gotten. So we all know we can be persuasive in conversation. I think some of us new comers might just have a problem accepting making money this way could happen for someone like us, regular folk. I don't know, I have family issues that have kept me scratching my head for years. Bills up the wazzu, yeah I got'em. All I can say right now is, I simply can not let this day unfold like I let it unfold yesturday. No, I haven't made my first deal yet. But, today I will start to take the action steps I must to make it happpen. I have had to talk my way out of some horribly hard situations in life. So I will take this fear of success and finnally being free of poverty and just through it down to the ground where it belongs. Because when your down you just don't have any damn place to go but, up. Thanks Dean for Caring. Sincerely, ADECUSS

P.S. With much Thanks in my heart to God and you Dean I will let you know about the success of my first deal.

Right on Dean. Went to a Church service in Texas this weekend and one of the teachers was very moloncoly, about put me to sleep. Subject content was good but presentation was very dry.
Just this last week I had lunch with a new Realtor who introduced me to a potential investor/Owner of a mortgage company and I presented my business with zeal and confidence trying to land some deals.

We'll see! Thanks Dean!

Thanks Dean

Dean, my goodness....I along with pratically all the others in the DG family were not only worried something was wrong, but we couldn't believe it was all an act! lol But a quite good example on how to not let yourself be discouraged or lose the fire in you. Its a matter of just keeping yourself energetic and not afraid to make something happen. And I like your saying "Fake it til you make it!" I will definitely attend an auction soon and try that approach that you demonstrated and use Matt's technique as well. Thanks again Dean for another awesome weekly wisdom blog and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Andre
