Thanks, Dean for all the encouragment! We need to celebrate the success we have had since our inner circle meeting with you back in September ! We have added about 5 buyers to our qualified buyers list since then, and are soooo ready to do our first assignment deal ! We are also working with a local bank to refinance the properties we already own. We are closer to finding the "perfect" RE agent. Also, one of our married kids is showing great interest in what we are doing and wanting to get involved with us! We are SO looking forward to the future !!!!! The support here at DG is a HUGE part of our motivation !!!!

I think that was a brilliant title being A Part vs being apart. I think this site is wonderful for helping one another out. I know as a newer investor I have benefited tremendously by being a part of this community. Nice to read Carol Stinsons post on her thoughts on this subject too. Tammy

I would like to thank you for your great advice each week. I have not done my first deal as of yet but I keep plugging away each week. I also know I will get that first deal in the near future.

I know I will not quit.. I need to make enough money to get out of debt and have a nice life.

Yeah, sometimes it feels like posting here for us newbies doesn't bring the hype like others, but then I read the responses to all the Newbs, and they're always so uplifting and encouraging! It's great to know we always have a place to go for support! As a side note, I'm pretty stoked right now! Finalizing the details with my first private money lender and just got back from a great meeting with a team of broker/realtors that are supper investor friendly! Even though I've not done a deal yet I feel like I'm a few short steps away! Really Excited! Thanks for your wisdom and encouragement...

I hear a subtle point in Dean's message this week. Those of us who have been in the "Fam" for a while. Stay on the site! Encourage and educate. Some of us do - some not so much. I'm guilty too of not offering back frequently enough. Come on - whatever level of success or experience you have had - get on here and share.

I need help with how to structure deals. I have to break a contract because i did not structure it right. I don't have the money for the legal fees! Robert T. Tucker

Thank you Dean for all you weekly blogs!! They are all very encouraging and today especially! I started my business in the beginning of March right after one of your 3 day seminars. I have learned so much, built my power team, built my buyers list, I got my first house under contract August 15th (still working on this deal), I got my another offer accepted by the bank then the very next day they changed their mind and wouldn't accept my offer, then I got a hud house for 40K and had a contract with the end buyer for 45k and I lost it because my real estate agent didn't get the paperwork in within 48 hrs, and now I have a house under contract and I have until 11/30 to close but none of my buyers are coming through!! So I haven't closed my first deal yet but what I can say is that I am SUCH A BIGGER person today then I was in March!! I have learned so much and I know my first deal is right around the corner!!

It was very encouraging to hear you say to celebrate all the little successes!! I have found myself lately looking back on how much I have grown and learned in Real Estate and it really makes me proud of myself. And makes me realize that I will reach my goals because I will NEVER give up!!

I needed to hear that, I have been struggling to get into me first deal, but i'll never give up i'm going to keep trying, I know that i am closer than ever before...

Many days I felt bogged down in a rut with my focus in action because lack of support from my families and friends. Thank you for the encouragement that you brought out every Monday. I need the networking and collaborations from the like mind set group as this.

I made an earlier post last evening when I came home from the JOB but I have more to add because Dean the patriarch of this DG family said he wants to hear what I have to say. I first have to say thank you Dean for saying that because there isn't much left of my biological family and for years I have thought to adopt a family both young and old because I realized the importance of having familial support. It was elusive until I decided to do this REI and went to a Trump meeting and then saw Dean on tv one Sunday morning. Now I have a family - the DG family and we are all coming to the weekly wisdom table to give thanks and to receive nourishment.

I went to church yesterday before going off to the JOB and at church I was reminded once again that we all individually are made perfect in the image of God even with our imperfections. Psalm 139. Our days here on earth were ordained for each of us according to God's plan for each of us and HE wants us to be who HE made us to be and not try to be like someone else. We are each special.

Being a part of this DG family is very important to me. Also I do attend two other REI clubs regularly and then I have gone to a Cash Flow meeting to play the cash flow game based on the Rich Dad education. That was very enlightening and I learned a lot. Some doors are opening.

I have learned recently that there are those in every family or club setting that come close to being naysayers or that let the air out of your balloon if you let them. For instance, I was told that I can not do this alone. That was really hard to hear because I am alone. I am reaching out and I am taking steps to make my future brighter as I know in my heart it will be. I found myself divorced at 36 for the second time and I nursed myself back to health by telling myself that the second half of my life would be much better than the first half. My best revenge was going to be to live well within my means whatever those means were. I tend to view my life in decades and I am 63 now. Life is better even in the midst of an economy that is off track. Its because I realize that as long as I have my faith in God and the clothes on my back and my sanity, I have all I need to continue on and create newness in my life.

I was going to take myself out to dinner on Thanksgiving to the hotel buffet but obstacle is no cash. So I just placed ad on craigslist to sell a set of fine china for $50.00. I am hoping someone will buy it from me by Wednesday. If not I will stay home and watch it rain. I will make a fire in my fireplace and I have plenty of food. I can make do very nicely yet I enjoy going out and being with or around other people on the holiday. I will make sure I have the cash for Christmas.

In the past I have place lots of ads on craigs list and I have put out signs and flyers. It has not worked so far but I will keep after it and something will happen one of these days. My goal is to die a wealthy woman and leave my wealth to help others.

I'm always caught up in my other work to get this REI off the ground and its crazy to NOT make it urgent as it is important. I am to understand that Urgent makes it a must and important puts it off to another day in the future. Wow and thank you doesn't quit hit the mark to express my gratitude for your ongoing encouragement and connection with people that have a difficult time realizing there potential in achieving there future goals and dreams.I need to make this urgent.thank you all.

It has struck me repeatedly about the people I have connected with in the real estate business that they have an unique perspective in regards to one another. They actually seem to respect and often care about each other no matter what the experience level. Being a beginner, I have had very little sense that I am being looked down upon.
Rather than a competitive spirit, there is an attitude of being there to help you if they can. People seem real, not trying to put on a show to impress. I am amazed and thankful to be a part of such a business. I feel like I have discovered a treasure.

I think it is a great ideal to be apart of a like minded group. To be able to share your goals and dreams with people who will encourage and support you to move forward.

Thanks Dean! When I first became a part of the DG family... little did I know of all the changes that would occur. I thought I was getting into Real Estate but have found is that it is a journey!!! I have changed so much on the inside- so that I can be successful on the outside! I have yet to really move off the ground, but I continue to hang with you and your peeps of "like minds". I will make my move soon. I am hooked on all the energy and caring that comes from this site. Your integrity and passion is what I keep coming back for.

I have not been making use of your valuable website since failed doing my first deal in - too many days. I am in the process of evaluating and planning my WIG's (Wildly Improbable/Important Goals). Real estate is connected to several so I will take you up on the offer to stay a part of DG! Thank you again!

Thank you Dean for all YOUR help! i recently contacted and started getting help with a mentor (cus u advise us to do so) who is well known on the computer sites but I do not feel that I am being helped..I feel that I am being taken for my money..it seems that I do not get my questions answered when I need them...sometimes I cannot wait days...or for a once a week phone call. I paid too much money on this coach mentor...so what can i say to him to tell him nicely i paid for your service now start coming up with the answers when I ask not when you feel.

Your academy was waaayyy too much for me but I have attended your seminars and always come to listen to your blogs. I am one that needs that little bit of guidance and then I feel better. HELP!!!

Thanks Dean. I am an investor and am back in the game after selling all in 05-06. Going for private $ to fund my deals this time around. Can't believe banks are. Not offering a no doc program for investors with 25% down. It would be a much safer program now, than at the peak. They will probably loosen the guidelines at about the time they should be tightening. It will be great for my long term hold strategy.

Dean , I thank you and the DG family for your support . I was struggling to make my first deal , and after one year I got it . I bought a house for $150, and I have it in contact for $195. Thank you

Thanks for the motivation for this week wisdom video because I needed it greatly. I appriciate what you were saying on it because it gives me a better boost of the motivation I need. I am in the proccess of climbing that ladder and am working on my first deal. Its been over 2months and been building a list. I feel like I am getting closer and closer as time is going on but at the same time it is hard. I stay motivated everytime I come to your site Dean because it keeps my ambition going to see the success of the great members and posts I see of everyones successes. I am fired up and ready to go!
