Thank you Dean for another great blog and giving a chance for someone to partner with you. We were blessed to be part of last years contest and we thank you for that Dean.

Dean you are the best mentor out there. You do not see other so called experts partnering with there students.

Congratulations to the 7 finalists, to all of the people who entered (I can imagine how hard it was to narrow the contestests down) and to all of you who took steps forward in 2011. You can all be rock stars! We don't have to be exactly like anyone else. Find your niche, push beyond your comfort zone - imaging a seed coming out of the ground - the fear of what lies above the surface - and then sunshine and warmth for the first time and a flower blooms. Wow! that's you!!

Oh no, someone made a mistake! I am so ecstatic to be a finalist, but want to make sure mine is switched to the correct video.

Jared and Michael are great, they got my video fixed pronto! I am so thankful! I hope if you watched it before you will watch the correct one. It is such an honor to be a finalist! Dean has impacted all our lives so much! Thank you for the opportunity and I wish all the contestants the best! You all have amazing stories!

We hope everyone the best for the contest. As Dean said, we are all winners since we have taken action, even those who did not make the final spots. Preserverance is the key, no matter win or lose.

The market is still down so take advantage of it while you can!!! Tomas and I presented on self-directed IRA's a few weeks ago to our local REI group. It was AMAZING the number of new people visiting our group. We are there to teach and to pass on the knowledge. However, keep that in mind that the real estate market cycles. When it starts getting fun again is when everyone starts jumping on the bandwagon. This is just another sign that the market is starting to turn! So BUY, BUY, BUY!!!! If I have to get on the table and start jumping up and down like Jim Cramer, I WILL!!! BUY and accumulate all that you can, while you can! use Dean's techniques because we will not see market like this again.

Dean, you are amazing. I start my week off every week by listening to your Weekly Wisdom because your energy and excitement is so contagious. Every Monday morning I feel like you are talking directly to me. It is a wonderful feeling to know that somebody cares. If I never make a dime from listening to your video clips, I will continue listening because it makes me feel good about myself. What is more important, money, or feeling good about oneself?

How wonderful all of you are for taking action. It is one of the must important keys to success.
Like wondering if you should ask a question, if you don't ask, the answer is always no. Not taking action is similar to that, because if you don't, the train never pulls out of the station.

As the winner of last year's contest, I can remember how exciting it was hearing Dean say -And the winner is....John Wakefield. And to add to this years excitement Dean is announcing the winner at the Edge event. Wow ,so much has happened since last year. We are doing multiple deals at a time and are learning more and more every day. Congratulations to all who entered . I will be happy to pass on the crown to this years winner! I have to say that I LOVED all the videos!!! I was inspired by all. But what helped me so much this week was seeing all the techniques that you teach. I have been doing wholesaling and I just closed my biggest deal for over 5K. But I have been wanting so bad to try different techniques and I KNOW THAT I CAN, but I have been scared. Tonight changed that. I am ready to move forward and I thank you greatly Dean!!!

Each of you had incredible success stories. It was so difficult to choose just one. It is an inspiration to see the changed lives, lifestyles, new found confidence, all while helping others in the process; and re-inforcement of the incredible Land Of Opportunity we STILL live in.

This is the kind of media I love to see. Real people, living life big... capturing their own dreams and helping other people in the process, creating the lifestyle they want. Living the dream, instead of watching it pass them by on a big screen. It doesn't get any better than that.

I need me a partner as well thx DEAN for another weekly wisdom and i did see last week blog,been busy with house bit i do get a chance to ck on you thx for the help and hope to meet again.

I also loved watching all the videos...you ALL deserve to win! I won't be able to attend the Edge event this year, but hoping by next year I can! Thanks Dean for everything you do!!

as for me i gave up for a while.
been through 100 or more real estate agents and keep finding ine here and there that claim they work well with investors, enen in this site i found 3. but truth is they want people to pay full price fohe properties they fix...not fothe beginner. when told what im doing and looking for i get dropped like a rock. been told i need a lettr of funding and all the places i get in advice to go to want a percentage down. real estae agents want the letter before they will show me property. hard money lenders will not give me a letter of funding until i find a property and do my due dillagence with an agent.
my situation does not allow me to try anymore. within another month i will be homeless with loosing all my pocessions because my employer likes to ruin people. 2 days if i do not have a job i loose my appartment, furniture, car and wood shop. i tried this for a year along with 15 others i know in my clube are having the same problem. the agents left in the busines are just in to steal properties from others. when i get my lisence i have people ill be able to help. if im able to complete my education.

Brian, are you following the steps to an investor friendly real estate agent EXACTLY as followed? Have you called up a local Keller Williams office, spoke tot he receptionist, and told the receptionist you are looking for an agent that specializing in works with investors that put in a lot of offers?

Have you read Carol Stinson's journey or seen any of her videos? Her story is REAL, and she was down to nothing as well and followed the step by steps in the book.

While I will say there is a mindset for success you must develop, if you give up, you will surely never succeed, but if you keep trying, you may fail 75% of the time, but the steps you take that are successful are attributable to accomplishment. I love the analogy of the BEST hitters in baseball. THE best of the best of ALL players misses the hit 64% of the time! And the really great hitters in the entire history of baseball, miss 64-75% of the time. So, if the BEST of the BEST have 'FAILURE' that often, it surely should show that perseverance is a must and giving up is not an option. To get to be the best took years and years of practice of even MORE failure than 75% of the time. So, as Dean asks, WHEN was the last time you failed? If you aren't failing often, you aren't trying hard enough! Embrace failure as a learning experience.

Only fear regret and not doing ALL you can to achieve your dreams. I hope you do not give up and think about tweaking the way you are doing things. Sometimes a very minor change can make a world of difference.
