Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #184 - Logical Decisions

Are you emotionally driven? Most people are. We let our emotions drive our actions. Your emotions can be powerful motivators or they can cause destructive lack of action.

This week, we talk about taking the emotion out of the decision process. It allows you to take ownership of your life and your actions, as well as gain the confidence you need in all areas. This can do everything from changing the way you feel about yourself to dramatically changing the economy in your house.

Watch it now and as a special surprise, you'll find out how anyone who leaves a comment on this blog this week can get a FREE digital copy of my bestselling book 'Totally Fulfilled.'

The Wake Up Blog

This to me is the wake up call to action. The opportunity to defy all odds, conquer all obstacles, alleviate all fear, and make that dream a reality. The challenge now is ours to act and do what is necessary for our happiness. Who will accept and who will reject; that what many of us have to asked ourselves. Great blog, thanks Dean.

THANKS DEAN

Logical Decision

Thanks Dean,
For another great blog. I've been watching blogs every week and get inspirations from you constantly. However, with all your logical information, I just realized that being a religious follower on DG site is not enough. I need to make a logical decision and be out there make things happen. Thank you for your patience and tolerance. I admire your stamina. May God Bless You, Your family and your business!

REI works

I think that investing in real estate is logical because everyone needs a place to live. Whether people are looking to buy, rent, or sell, there is always the need to help those people solve their problems The prices are low right now. Now is the time to take advantage of how the housing market is.

All throughout this website (and Dean's books) there is example after example of how successful people have been investing in real estate. It's time for me and my family to take advantage of this opportunity to achieve financial freedom.

Thanks for your weekly motivational videos Dean!

Take out emotions and follow business plan

echriston's picture

Amen! Take out the emotions and what people say on a whim, put some work into it and follow a business plan that works in your area. You will make money! Remember to keep steady at it and do not treat as a hobby!

They think I'm Crazy

For wanting to getting into real estate now...My goal is to prove them all wrong!

Logic and Emotion......

Dean.....

Great point. I believe a healthy balance of both Logic and Emotion provide for excellent decision making qualities. The emotion provides adrenaline and or excitement and the logic validates the facts from fiction, leaving what is needed to make the right decision for you.

Thank you for caring....

Dean don't Get to excited.

Dean,
Thanks for your videos. I would hate to see what happens if you really got excited. Thanks for putting emotions with reality, its logical.

Thanks Dean, I am already

Your mind controls your body

thomgilbert's picture

Dean,
This is my first post! Thank you for all your weekly wisdoms, as I have listened to each one since I joined 3 months ago. This is an amazing site with great Q&A from all the users! I just closed my first deal using no money down and seller financing a few weeks ago and got my tuition back!

You asked us to post logically why...well real estate is tangible, the population is increasing all the time, people need places to live and we are at the bottom of the real estate market! There are amazing deals in depressed marketplaces where owners are offering seller financing on homes that will cash flow. Whether your just starting as a bird dog and wholesaler or your able to rehab/flip or buy and hold there are strategies that WILL WORK for any level of investing. We must all continue to believe, visualize, stay focused and positive. Your mind controls your body! I know this for a fact because I was paralyzed from the waist down @L1 and had to use my mind to teach my legs how to walk again! Now I ask anyone who is having a bad day to smile and see how hard it is to feel bad when your smiling!

Sincerely,
Thom

Another great weekly wisdom

Hi Dean,
I watch your video's every week, they are an inspiration to me to keep plugging away, doing what I love - Real Estate.

I particular enjoyed your video last week to the ladies as we are often overlooked, but as more of us are taking back control of our lives you will see and hear more sucess stories. I loved the passion you displayed this week, but then you are always passionate about helping others achieve their dreams.

I love the rehab process and am working on my 2nd property right now since January. I just sold my first property earlier this month and a week later closed on the purchase of a bank auction REO. I look to "assigning" my next one, just so I can go through the process as I haven't done one yet.

For me, there is no better investment than RE. I thank you and your team. I love being able to call a coach when I need help.

I look forward to reading your new book, thank you for making it available to us.

You keep me inspired to improve my life, after all no one else is going to do it for me. I appreciate that you don't give up (or talk down to) those of us who are clawing our way up from the bottom.

Dean = Real Deal !

Emotion

aerospaceman's picture

Can I speak of emotions? can I speak about the emotions of aiding in the birth of my daughters? can I speak of leaving college and finding real estate, the emotions that brought me back from the precipice? What makes me any more qualified than the next person to speak about the emotional decisions that led me to select Dean's Think A Little Different course and to spend time digging through our DG Family Vault LOL I feel it's time well spent especially with someone like Dean leading through the steps to success, which is why having a mentors written word is so important.

Window in a double dip recession.

Sure hope the time is right in this window based on the meeting your staff held last week. If we can survive the next downturn if that forecast is right with as many deals in between to get through it, that would get most all of us totally fulfilled!

Window in the double dip recession.

If we can get a few deals done in this period of two years that your staff, at last weeks meeting, says we have regardless of another dip the forecasters say will come, then most of us will be totally fulfilled!

Contagious Enthusiasm!

Great blog, Dean! Your enthusiasm is truly contagious! I have bought two of your books now and watch a lot of your weekly blogs. I still lack time with my busy career and confidence for never having done RE investing before. I plan to get off the fence and get with it this year. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Dean for helping me to stay motivated to get deals done. You always have the right thing to say to motivate us.

If we receive your book that would be great and very much appreciated. Just another way you show that you truly care about our success and your willing to do what you can to help us achieve it.

Thank you,

Logic Rocks!!!

Dean, its your emotion and passion of what you do that sold me upon your idea of RE in the first place. I can now see that once I have all my ducks lined up in a row, more doors will open for me. That alone makes me excited. When I listen to your blogs, I feel total motivation and inspiration.

I understand your emotions more each day from reading your books or watching your weekly wisdom. You have given me the the tools to change my life around better than before. For that I am grateful.

Congrats and Many Blessings on the new book!

This Week's Message

Thanks Dean

I always find your messages to be helpful.

I am now working on the eight house that I have done since seeing your infomercial nearly 3 years ago. I find your words motivating and will forward it to the other members of our investment group.

Jeff

I really needed to hear this!

Dean, you're so right about some of us not having the emotional/moral support while we're learning. I think the hardest part for me is just getting started.Too many sourpusses around me. You're right about the initial fear. Even though, I've posted your video blog here to facebook, I bet that even some of the facebook friends & relatives from across the USA will have something negative to say about my being involved in this. I just have to keep on believing in myself. I'm on my way, slower than most probably, but still motivated, thanks to your videos here. Thanks for providing the motivation I otherwise wouldn't be getting.

Pull the trigger

Dean,

Thanks for your education and most importantly, your words of encouragement. You give me the tools I need to be successful. I'm passionate and thank you for the following quote I heard at Gain The Edge 2012: "If you're not failing once a week, you're probably not trying hard enough" - Dean Graziosi

I am going to try harder!

Thank you Dean!

Your books are an inspiration to me.Keep them coming.
