My prayers are with those who were impacted by the hurricane. Being from Louisiana and experiencing the rath of Katrina I know all to well how amazing people of the United States come together at a time like this. God Bless all those at their time of need.

Be a VICTOR not a victim!!

God puts us through some things that seem like tragedys, but when its all over we understand he was just preparing us for a bigger fight that brings us joy when we win! Keep fighting and stay positive!

Hurricane Sandy - Have to help people hit the hardest

Hi Everyone,

I am in NJ..I just got power on Friday and cable/phone/internet back yesterday. That is nothing compared to what others have lost. I am pledging to help people in NJ and NY that lost their homes.

Thanks for the prayers, and I think that if everyone contributes and helps, then it will make a difference.

Thanks.

Do something every day to help yourself

Pat_E's picture

Do something every day that will help get you back to where you were. In the process, life will be even better than it was before the disaster. Just keep working at it every day. Take care of yourself and others who mean a lot to you. Life is good!

It is such a tradegy for all those in the path of this storm. Many are still without power and are struggling to clean up the mess. These things bring out the best in everyone and I have heard of all the good samaratins out there doing all they can to help. I am praying for all the victims of the storm and just want to say, Keep the faith and remember we all care.

Storm

I live in Minot ND were last year the whole town was flooded so I've seen the devastation. East coast people hang on tommorrow is a new day.

Sandy victims

Once again Dean let me thank you for all you do for the people who have been dealt a great blow. I hope they will bounce back and be stronger than before. We wish them all the strength and love to get through this disaster.

The Lord's peace be with those Sandy affected.

Proverbs 3:5-6 comes to mind in a time as this and has helped me through so many troubles I have faced. I truly pray that many will turn their hearts to the Lord for His guidance to rebuilding their lives.

Praying . . .

"I'll Praise You In This Storm" by Casting Crowns - this song comes to my mind when I think of the multitude of Hurricane Sandy victims out there.
I pray the Lord blesses you all with a quick recovery and keeps you well and nurtured in his arms.
Even though your hearts may be torn,
praise HIM in this storm.
I just wish I could be a helping hand to you all.
Thank you Dean Graziosi for helping out,
like you always do!!
Prayers from KY,

Hurricane Sandy Survivirs

As things seem to be at their worst, believe that they will get better. As a Miamian I have seen many violent storms that create disaster. However, each time we rebuild we come back stronger and better than before. So don't give up hope.
Best wishes for a stronger and brighter future.

Thank you

Sandy liken to Purgatory

Let us recommend to God all the souls that passed from our shores during the storm and if their family can take some consolation from our moral support and acts of kindness as expressions of charity toward our fellow patriots. Flying the flag at half-mast in their honor.

The Right Mindset,

daltonstrail's picture

It's hard to keep the right mindset when we go through troubling times and tragedies.
I try to keep the train of thought that everything happens for a reason whether it's good or bad.

But along with that thought we also need to remember that those things happen in Gods timing, not ours.

And sometimes we get to see the reason later on down the road or time. I enjoy those opportunities as it helps one understand why or how some of those things happen. It also gives ya a glimpse of Gods timing.

To all who are suffering from Sandy;
If you trust and believe in our lord Jesus Christ then you can also trust that he is there with you. Because you will get through this. He will see to that.

God bless y'all!
Keep your faith !

Sincerely,
Garry C.

Thanks DG and Bless Those in Need!

United in Prayer

I can recall the incident as vividly as if it were yesterday. I had just given birth to my daughter on 08/22/2005, home by 08/24/2005, and out the door by 08/27/2005. On 08/29/2005 my world was forever changed as I watched the city I was born in and loved so much be flooded and the people I loved perish. My mind and heart couldn't understand why such a thing had occurred. As the damage of Katrina unfolded and the horror stories were told, I cried and prayed and wondered where would I begin with 4kids a few pennies and no clue as to where I would go. Long story short, through many let-downs, disappointments, and sometimes fear I made it. It was by fervent prayer and seeking his guidance and wisdom that I made it. Here it it some seven years later and I now reside in Atlanta and though there are still challenges we made it. The prayers of the righteous of this nation and the covering of believers both known and unknown brought us through. This is my message to you the people of the east coast. I can both sympathize and empathize with you as you regroup and bounce back from such a horrible tragedy, but know this God never gives you more than you can bear. You have gone through this thing, now give Him glory and watch Him move miraculously in your life. He will restore all that you lost and then some. For those who lost loved ones it is my sincere prayer that they were in Christ and gone onto a better place. We as a nation are praying with and for you. Our hearts go out to all of you and it is my sincerest prayer that each and every need be met, and that God's grace sustain and keep you, and for a speedy recovery from this.

Storm Victims - Hurricane Sandy

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people and families hit by the storm. It is obvious that many have been effected, some have lost everything. Really Praying for the families that have lost a family member! Hoping those with out electricity well have it restored soon.
Dean I want to give you a BIG Thank You for bringing this disaster to our attention so we can help one way or another.

Mark -- Northern Cal

With Much Appreciation

I grew up in New York, and my family, and friends still live there. My in laws lived in Toms River New Jersey, were evacuated, and are now homeless. Others have been slowly getting the electric and heat back on. We just spoke to friends in NJ and they are having a snow storm right now. I believe that God has a plan, and have been praying that there is a purpose behind this. Thank you for your gracious offer, I wanted to go back and help but was told between gas line, odd and even days, no power, it would be best to stay here. You are a remarkable guy Dean!

Thank you,

I Declare Faith

my time now's picture

I pray that everyone in the path of that hurricane will trust God again and reach out to God for strength to recover and rebuild materially, emotionally and financially. This is not the end we are a strong people and with faith in God through him we can do all things. We can rebuild jersey shore better than before, we can rebuild the boardwalk and take our grandkids there like before.

Homes will be built again and our love ones we lost we will see again if you beleive. So I declare a big blessing over all the region and states and cities that were affected by this storm. My heart hurts with them but I pray for them. God sees them he knows their hearts and grief and I pray he helps them cope until it is restored.
