Dean, You hit it right on again!! 24 hours in our day has not changed but the amount we put on our plate fluxuates. I have been able to place a no or a yes to others unless it moves me in the direction of a positive goal in my life. Or i will enlist others in what i am doing and it helps others move forward too.

Thanks Dean.

I am just going to share a quote I recently read from leadership expert John Maxwell that relates to what was said here. "You don't manage time, you manage yourself. The best use of time is not to manage time its to manage you. You take the time you have and do the things you NEED to do. If you do this correctly time becomes your friend. If you do it incorrectly time becomes something you just bare with and kill."~John Maxwell

Thank you again for sharing this with me Dean. I told people at this seminar
if it wasn't for you in sending this to me last week, i would know how true, the energy we put into what we want is what is going to get us their.

Time Management

You hit it on the head again Dean, time mgmt is our #1 problem! Specially when we start doing things for others we love, and tend to forget about ourselves; all that work we did that took us to the brink of success, suddenly is put aside for later (and later seems to get misplaced ALL the time:) WE HAVE TO REMEMBER not to allow them to become time absorbing sponges!

Thanks,

Julieje

I have pulled the trigger

As of yesterday I am now on the fast track and am anxiously awaiting my first coaching call today at 1:40! After 11 years as a loan officer I see there is a higher and better use of my time and knowledge. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to follow my path to success because I'm about to blow this thing up!! Thanks so much.

Time to get those Bandit Signs out again! Smiling lovin' It! Mading offers, and getting more calls, We are building our A Team, after many realtors have failed, we have another, actually the one who sold us our house in 2008 so far so good, cross my fingers.

Just met and talked with a closing manager at title company who explained so much to us on what docs they will need when we bring deal to closing, have another realtor calling us through a friend referal, have a handyman, roofer, and contractor we can contact for repair estimates.

Just because I followed your time-management list last week on What's Working and What's Not wroking and the MULTIPLIER! Kinda reminds me of the nike saying, Just Do It!!Smiling Thank you Dean

continually changing !

dglloyd's picture

Time management is something we continually have to work at. Just when I think I have it down, something in "life" changes or comes up to throw it off ! Just this week we have had a TON of SERIOUS family stuff come up, for example. Love the idea of writing down the "yes" & "no's" on a regualar basis to stay on top of what is REALLY most important ! I will do that this week for sure to get BACK on top of things ! Thanks, Dean !

Great reminder....

AndyS's picture

Everybody only gets 24 hours each day so it's not about making more time, it's about making better use of the time that you have.

Practiced it myself this week. Could have been dead in the water for 4 hours but instead, was sitting in my car, in a parking lot, on the phone, moving my biz forward. I may even have picked up a potential deal from one of my calls!

Till next week....

Time management and my mind~

Dewsters's picture

Dean, this is something that seems to get me every week. I have the skill to stay focused but sometimes it seems I am on information overload and my plan wants to reorganize itself in the middle of what I am doing. I have several goals and I try to do at least one thing to get me closer to reaching them each day. In general they are to get my first real estate positive cash flow property, clear the clutter in my garage and make new positive and encouraging friends. Let's be honest, some days my head is just not into doing computer work and research, sometimes I need to get out and see the people and the sunshine. That's when the time management disconnect comes into play and I don't have a very productive day. I like when my days are productive, I feel better and that alone is a good thing!

Check & Check!

Will do Dean.... I'm on it Smiling I think I'm pretty good right now knowing what my Yes/No's are... but will map it out just to make sure.

Thanks for the reminder on securing our own oxygen mask FIRST before we extend the helping hand!

Hey Dean,

Sorry I have not connected in awhile, my computers been on the blink but working now. Your message is right on time as usual. Tonight I was stressed as I broke my phone and could not get my contact list, then the computer was not working properly and work has taken off to where I was beginning to wonder which way is up. My 1st flip is on the market, the 2nd flip should be listed Monday and my partner and I have gotten 3 more accepted offers so it is going fast and time management is definately becoming most important.

Thanks for the timely message! Jeff
