Hey whats going on Laura! Again thanks for everything that you have been and represented in my REI career. You just dont know how much I admire and adore the way you move in this REI world that we play in. If we wore a # on our backs, it would be your jersey that I would wear as a fan.

Its just Amazing how these deals are coming through by you and Rina knowing what to do and when to do it. It comes down to that. And you know you are good when you have success and make it look so easy. I know in your mind you know its that easy and Im sure with each deal that you close your confidence builds and your fear of the unkown melts away, considering the power you have with REI to steer your life in the direction that you want it! "When I grow up I want to be just like you" lol except for the male version,lol Just playing, "You know I got to be ShaneO'!" lol Laura keep up the good work and I will meet you at the TOP!

As always thanks for stopping by and writing in my journal. Always good to hear from you Today off to appraisal for refi on one property, then inspection on the one I'm getting from the bank! Excited about all the new deals and what we're going to decide to do with them....lots of options, which is so cool.

Oh my gosh- whenever I read your posts I am touched, smile inside and out, and always feel happier afterwards! Can only imagine how great it will be when we get to meet face to face and have a giant hug!!!!!! xooxoxoxoxxoxo

Hey my friend, hows it going? Are you still going to Isreal? I'm sorry i haven't been updating my journal, but i'm doing great and things are going as good as well. Hit me up and let me know if your going to Isreal or to the Edge. I don't know yet if i'm going or not, but i haven't made a decision about it. The plan for me was to go back to the island next week, but now my plans have changed and i don't know if its too late to to sign up for the edge or not. Keep me posted, love you girl!

Hey sounds great all that you and Rina are doing. I'm actually at my JOB but I just have to take a break every now and then and look where I landed. I too enjoy Shane's journals and am touched by how he motivates me as well as you and everyone else.

Also way to go on the 25K deal and the other as well. It's great that you and Rina had the tools to close very quickly on the deal that the man was dying. Now that's a quick close.

Anyway looking forward to meeting you and everyone else.

just finished reading through your journal. love it! your journey has truly been exciting! like Shane said, "i wanna be just like you when i grow up". i too have a son in the military, on the Army's bomb squad. like Rina, i have 2 daughters in Oklahoma, one in Tulsa and one in Owasso. i'm so happy for you and Rina. i won't make it to the EDGE this year, but hopefully next year and i would love to meet you both, along with all the other DG family out there.

You and Shane are just too kind!It always amazes me how many women have lives that parallel each other here on DG! I guess great minds think alike and are drawn to each other LOL. It was nice to hear your voice on the call last night too! Just keep trying different routes till you find the one that works for you - and you will!!! Keep your sights on next years EDGE - make it a goal and start your travel plans Wow - your son is on the bomb squad? That must be very worrisome to say the least for you. He must be like mine, seeking that level of challenge and risk in life, living on the edge. Guess they really arent much different from us actually, right Mine just told me he is going on a volunteer tour in Irag to do special survival training over there. I support his dreams as he supports mine, but it sure tugs at my heart in a deep way. Well, stay the course, Linda - you're doing great!

i just came into your journal to tell you how nice it was to talk to you last night. enjoyed the call. i will keep working on my buyers list until i have it nailed! i do plan on going to the EDGE next year; can't wait. i do alot of praying for my son. have to because i can't go protect him. he's been to Iraq twice and goes to Afghanistan in January. he loves it. i always told my kids to go after what was right for them. mmmmm..... thanks for all the encouragement. who else out there lets students help and encourage others?? i'm really impressed by what Dean is doing and I'm also impressed with you and Rina. AWESOME!!

Hello my friend, Thanks for the kind words in my journal, I try to do rite by everyone I come into contact with, Mom instilled that in us, she always said to treat other the way you would like to be treated.
Well I have been thinking again I think Dean will have to introduce you and Rina as the dinamic duo of REI. Atleast that is what comes to mind when i think of you two.

What an awesome weekend, right? I have never felt so much energy and positive thinking except for last years EDGE haha. I already cant wait for next year As far as deals - I am closing on one tomorrow morning! Keep it going!!

I cant tell you how nice it was to meet you and Karen! Its so great when your virtual family becomes reality hehe! Next year we should all plan on either a few days before or a few after for just hanging around the pool. The weekend is so packed with speakers and so many people its hard to get that one on one. Wow - what a busy but wonderful few weeks I've had! Trip to Jersey and Maine ending with the EDGE....so awesome! Then back to Wisc for 3 days and a return trip to Jersey for Memorial Day weekend with all my fabulous friends, and now back to Wisconsin. The night before I left for Jersey again I got rehab started on my first property in Minnesota, and then got turned on to a deal in Superior. So the night before I was flying out I met realtor at 8pm and put in an offer - bank owned home - been gutted. Someone started rehab and didnt finish. Came back yesterday to find they accepted my offer! So I now have 2 rehabs in progress (duplex almost done - hooray)- rents will be increased there too now that its all been redone which will help alot, and close on the newest deal on the 18th! Plus Rina and I are getting ready to fix up one of our props we got together to flip, and another to rehab and get rented. So there is always some real estate action going on out here And I must say springtime is my favorite time of year - and its especially beautiful here in Wisconsin! I am living with a tremendous attitude of gratitude for all the great things happening in my life!

OH yea, way to go Laura!!!I know i am repeating myself but CONGRATULATIONS!!! on another deal. keep it up, soon you and Rina will be living like Matt. somewhere for the winter and somewhere else for the summer
I am hoping I get something done soon so I can pop a bottle and celebrate, of course you two are invited
