You don't know how dead-on your post was to a conversation Laura and I just had a few hours ago about "here in the summer, there in the winter"!! (not telling where "there" is. ) Even Randy's comment was in it!!

Definitely a sign Rina Richie thanks for always being my cheerleader lol....cant wait to celebrate your first deal!!! Randy - I'm still wiping away the tears from laughing at your journal entries, and then find this on here!!!!! I think I'm going to set my goals big like you - and predict we will all be sharing that jet in a few years....but I think by then it will have a pet kennel in it so my cats and future dogs will just come along lol.

Rehab is almost done on my duplex, and I only lost one months time. Not bad. Plus the rents are going to go up as well. Cant say enough how lucky I was to find not only a great management company, but one that has crews to do the work as well! I closed on my first Minn. house, and the rehab will begin on that shortly. I intend to start marketing that asap as a rent to own. Havent done one of those yet Next to close on the 18th is a house I got here in Superior - rehab was started but not finished. Not sure whether I'll rent or flip that one lol. Rina and I have several projects in the works too! Doing minor rehab on one house with the intent to flip, and still not too sure what we're going to do with the one in Duluth we got for 25k. Leaning towards a flip on that one too. Gee, so many options hahaha. Plus we're getting ready to travel a little bit and look into a new project that is very exciting! All I can say is TAKE ACTION!! Taking action is what will take to you where you want to be!!

Hi Laura. I'm gone a few days seemed like forever and just got caught up on what's been happeninig with you and Rina. WOW! WOW! WOW!

Rina's journal is next for me to catch up on. When I got back from NY I watched your Empowering conversation DVD; loved your story and how you got started. Those are worth gold to me. It's so rewarding to see all that you are doing and also what you're doing with Rina. The sky's the limit especially if you have your own Jet, LOL! You all can team up with Richard as he will own the island and you all can own the jet to pick them up and the whole DG family. I bet you both could buy a jet and with no money down. You also could hire your flight team.

Anyway love what you're up to. Congratulations!

Geez - the time really flies by - over a week since my last post! I just came back from a fast two day trip to see my son in Spokane. Just so good to see him and couldnt be prouder of what he's accomplishing with his life
Now the real estate world...heading out to do a walkthrough of a house with rehabber to get some numbers, then check up on my downstairs duplex unit. Rehab should be done there or really close - the upstairs is already rented for July 1. Then off to one of our Two Friends props to check on plumber and his work in the kitchen. Hope there is no limit on mileage for tax purposes at the end of the year haha...cuz I'm piling it on
I also just wrote down a note to review my goals and rewrite them after reading Randys post today about catching up with Matt Never underestimate the power of keeping yourself accountable for your actions by putting them down on paper! Having them there in your face every day really keeps you on track!
Ok, gonna go catch up on as many other posts as possible before I go out for the day!

Had a closing from last week post-poned - so close on that tomorrow! Great sf in a desirable part of town I picked up for 35k. Then heading on a road trip Tuesday.....first part is for some exciting real estate stuff, then off to see my Mom in southern Missouri for a few days. Have a great week everyone!!!!

hehehe remember when i originally started in rei almost 2 months ago and i was thinking about relocating because i didnt believe there could be a deal in nj? was i wrong!!! deans techniques really work everywhere!! I have found incredible deals in the 20-30k range!! if i come accross a killer deal ill pm you. lol hope you have a wonderful road trip..and going to see mommy is always wonderful

I am so happy about your news! Thanks for stopping by to let me know. I have been following your journal...(I admit I often come on here and read everyones journals but dont sign in all the time to post) Just a matter of time these days! I'm really proud of you for what you're accomplishing. I knew when i first read your posts that your determination and great desire would make things happen for you! And I know we'll be meeting in person next year in Phoenix too! Keep up the good work, and I'll love to hear all the details!

I havent posted since 6/21???? Yikes! Life is grand and I'm keeping plenty busy with real estate. Just a little spoiled now that my management company also does all my rehab work for me. Rina and I were going to paint one of our houses together, got all the supplies there, and we both laughed and said lets call Corey - we've got better things to do with our time haha. Anyway - right now I have one place under rehab that I intend to flip for a tidy profit, and another to be rehabbed as a rental that I got for 25k....Rina and I have two together we are also going to flip...we also just invested in a flip house with another DG member out of state in a new area we are looking at. As a matter of fact - I may just be packing up my cats and moving again soon! I am truly blessed that I can focus 100% on real estate and go where the deals take me. But that is to be seen in the next couple of months. Exciting stuff Well, I hope that everyone has a fabulous holiday weekend with lots of fun and sun and family and friends!

I hope your 4th of July was blast. I had to drop in and "Big You Up" because I finally got a chance to read the last 22 eentries into your journal that I missed.

I am so pround and happy for you! You are definately someone who deserves the success that you have obtained. Even if it was just based off of the warm and caring heart that you have for others who are climbing the same ladder that you are. There are books and movies written about Great people like and I must say its an honor to share this DG Family bondage between each other.

Keep up the good work and keep on living life to the fullest. There is a song that plays on the radio sometimes and the words say, "Party like a RockStar" Well you are that REI RockStar in my eyes and you cant be stopped because you have freed yourself from the gravity of what some people call a "normal life", like an Eagle high in the sky, you soar around this world as you choose and see fit and I Admire you for that.
