Yea i understand its alot of money to come up with right now!! I wish they had streched out the payment plan a little more. But we have to understand its a lot that went into this project and he has really went above and beyond to make sure we have the tools to succeed. theres a saying that goes when you PAY..... you PAY attention.

I wonder what the cost of the system is going to go up to after the introductory offer...

I definitely can't even do the payment plan right now. That's a car payment! If I could afford $300 for 5 months right now, I'd probably just skip RE and buy the new car I need. I'm still interested in the program, but I think Dean could've given a fair warning to all of us that are still on the brink of feeding our kids peanut butter sandwiches...

If I do this it'll have to be down the road after I save up for it. Guess I'll just have to get started with all of my clunky mistakes and everyone thinking I'm crazy...

You really can't get started in REI with the sfl system if you have no money.
Dean maybe should've offered this system to his "dealmakers".

Not giving up all together, but very disappointed. I really thought he would tailor the cost for his broke students just getting started. That made sense to me...

Well...I did it. I am disappointed that I just bought the 2009 Edge DVDs for $600 though. I had no idea that this was about to be released.

There have been successful real estate investors for many generations. Some had more access to capital than others. Only recently have all these programs and real estate deal coaches started popping up. I just don't understand why "students" need to keep throwing thousands and thousands of dollars at a program with inspired hope that they will become rich real estate investors.

As stated earlier, a lot of people were successful in REI without the program. Just because you can't spend the money right now does not mean that you are defeated. The program sounds good, but you can still have success without it. If you don't want it, good. Move on to the next stage of your pkan for success. If you can't afford it, think of ways to get results without it. make that light bulb go off in your head. We can all do this, with or without the software. We have the DG site, we have our motivation and we have each other. There is nothing that can stop us but ourselves.

Let Faith Replace Fear.

I think many of us are venting frustration after the hype and build up for this conference call that amounted to an hour long sales pitch for a new expensive program. Nobody said anything about being defeated. I've read both of Deans books and read numerous emails. If this is where he is going--selling a load of new DVD programs--then it may not be for me. When people make all these promises and fail to deliver (or turn it into a sales pitch) I don't know about anyone else but that disappoints me.

Success academy is fantastic!! I have learned so much and still learning more everyday!!! Worth the investment allowed me
to know nothing to teaching me further and having people there for me at all times is woderful

As some of you may know us, Gary & Jill Ceriani have been RE investors for about 12 yrs. We have always purchased properties in conventional ways, cash, conventional mortgage or re-fi & pulled cash out. We bought one of Dean's books about 2 yrs. ago when we were starting into foreclosures. We have had the honor & privilege to be invited to Edge 2009, be a part of Dean's latest book, Your Town, & of course a part of his TV infomercials. All in part because of making over $ 500,000 in profit.
Besides in always using our own cash, Jill & I have always done all the rehabbing ourselves. We've really enjoyed working/being together all the time.
Jill is one of the best ceramic tile installers you could imagine, not to mention just about everything else, except for electrical & some plumbing, that she leaves to me. The only thing we contract out are Roofs & HVAC, because of permits the need for licensed contractors. With my mechanical experience in owning an heating oil company & doing plumbing & electrical as well as watching & working with my father, a carpenter for many yrs. we always
felt this was our niche.
Unfortunately with me turning 55 & Jill 53, it's beginning to get harder & harder. That's why we feel this automated type of investing is definitely the way to go. Teaching "Old Dogs New Tricks" will be most exciting, just hoping
that it's not too technical for our small brains.
We have ordered the system & are extremely anxious to get started ! We will keep you posted on our progress/results...

Im Pretty excited to hear about all that's included with the SFL system, and cant wait to get it... I wish the payment plan could be stretched out just a little longer too. Unfortunately Im not able to pay for it until next month when it will undoubtedly be full price... Ohh well, guess I will get it as soon as I can.

Im wondering what the full price of this system will be... Any Guesses?

yes i agree with gary and jill !! as you i have been in construction and at only 43 am not old but want to learn every work smarter not harder strategy and i believe this is the answer!! i have yet to see anything dean delivers that we cannot use to further our financial well being.you are right that we may not NEED this to succeed but this may streamline success and as he said in the call.......this is a strategy to get going FAST !!

Hey everyone...

Well needless to say, if Dean's call left you unmotivated, especially after listening to Carole and everyone else, then REI just might not be the thing for you....

Otherwise, don't lose your hope and definately don't be upset if you can't afford the "Set for Life Program (SFL)". As many have said, you can still do this without "SFL" and all the tools have already been given to you. To me it seems, that this is just a specialized product that just "springboards" you even more so than other things such as the books, The edge course, etc.

As we can afford more and more in our lives, don't the mundane day to day activities seem to go away as we make more and more money. More money equals less miscellaneous stuff to have to worry about and gives you the ability to pay for the top products, services, etc. This is basically one of those "perks" so to speak if you are fortunate enough to be able to afford the program right now. It really sounds awesome too and looks like it will really help increase efficiency in REI. But don't be mad, dissapointed, etc. becuase you already have the ability right in your hands! Besides, one day, when you have had success and money isn't a concern anymore, you will probably spend much more than this to add to your REI supply shelf!

I have been a big proponent of Dean and his products and for the last year, I have fortunately been able to purchase all the products he has offered. Unfortunately, life has REALLY taken a wild turn for me, and I for one could not afford this program now if it were only $100. Despite everything I have been thru this past year, and being extremely limited on doing any sort of REI, I'm still positive that one day, when God says it is the right time, I will have just as much motivation as I had months ago. And honestly, that motivation really isn't gone; it has just been set aside for the moment so I can do everything in my power to keep food and a home up for my four beautiful girls... At a certain point, priority takes over from your dreams, especially when those beautiful eyes are looking up at you! But, this is just a temporary set back, and those dreams are now just being harvested in my mind more and more!

So yes, I'm disappointed too!!! But not because Dean is selling something else, which just so happens to be the most expensive thing he has sold yet (at least from what I have seen). That is just business baby and we should all be glad that Dean really does "care" for his customers. He is the real deal, but he is also a businessman. And when it comes down to it, we are just customers of a damn good company with one heck of an owner! So I'm not dissapointed about that at all... What saddens me, based on my current predicament, is the fact that I can't just log in, pay for it on the credit card, and get the "Set For Life" system sent my way ASAP. It will be hard to hear people talking about it in the forums and not being able to be utilizing it at the same time.

But whatever, right? Life is all about hurdles and this just happens to be one for many of us. Use it as motivation, keep on working hard, and make that next deal a reality! After that, with our confidence grown, we can then go get the next deal and the next deal, to the point that we will ultimately already be "Set For Life"! lol

Hi all - I am Tammy from CA (Fresno)

I was and still am very excited about Dean's Program. Unfortunately - unable to get it anytime soon.

Just thought this would be the break I needed to get started ASAP.

I've been unemployed for along time and now living with my mom and her husband whom are both ill and unable to do the basic household chores for themselves.

I'm set up in their back room they use for storage ~ they've already helped me out with several bills of mine (car insurance, tags, dental emergency, etc) and are on a fixed income.

I will be successful, I will keep plugging along. I need someone to kick me off the fence so I can get that 1st Successful Deal.

Sorry for the rambling ~ I know there are others out there just like me.

I know most of you are disappointed and may have expected Dean to hand out this program for free or for an even cheaper price. However lets be real with each other here. Dean gives us tones of free information on his website, he also gives us most of the information he is providing in this program and with his success academy in his books. If he handed this out for free I would personally feel like he ripped himself off.

I saw this sales pitch a mile a way because he teaches us how to do the same thing using the 24 hour recorded messages. I don't mind it though because its smart business. I purchased the program and if I don't see success from this I will get my money back. However I have faith in the information that Dean provides so thats why I'm taking full advantage of this discount. I don't think Dean would sell a crap product I'm sure he will also read most of you all's reaction's and lower the monthly payments who knows....

Well said Robert. All it take is getting out there and find a Real Estate Agent and join a Real Estate Investor Club if you have Dean book then you need to read again. Don't let SFL get you down get back up and get moving on what you need to do to get that first deal.

I think this will be a very helpful tool in many ways. I will be using the smart automation mostly. I will watch the dvds, I am sure I will learn something new there also.
But this is just a tool, it will not make the deals for you, you will still have to do that your self! Dean said don't expect it to spit money at you, so if you are not ready to put in the work?!??.
By the way the price is very reasonable, Very!!! $49 a month to keep the site going is fair also! You new people that say they can't afford it, it may be that you can't afford not to have it!! One deal will pay for it! You have to have the education to actually go out and do that deal so go for it, commit yourself 100% and it WILL pay off!

Yes, this was a marketing pitch. It was from the start. I am glad I took the steps to build my business credit even more now! Because, I put it ALL on the business. My interest is a write off on my credit cards because its business related. OPM. And there's a money back guarantee.

It seems that a few of us are mostly interested in certain PARTS of the SFL system. Maybe Dean will make it available in parts? (A kind of Set For Life a la carte? - That would be cheaper...) Maybe.

I'll just keep reading and do a little networking for now. I know Dean's laid all of the pieces out for me. I just have find and gather them. One way or another, I'll be set.

very true, dean gives us MANY things for free !!! how many other rei teachers or gurus GIVE TO STUDENTS as much as him ???? i cant think of any that goes above and beyond and OVER DELIVERS as dean does !!

There's no such thing that's free in this world when you are in business. SFL is a great program but we have to spend money to make money.

I am not a student of the Success Academy since I started with REI. But I once tried calling Dean's office sometime in May 2009 to ask something in connection to REI and I told the lady that I have tons of questions about the business but I really could not afford to enroll in the academy. She replied to me politely asking what questions do I have that she might be able to help me.

I did not pursue asking her my concerns for I knew that I will be taking all of her time and I understand that time is business for them. I know that answering my question would lead to pitching me about the program and I might end up enrolling, but I understand it. It should be fair enought in Dean's part that I ask them my questions "IF" i'm one of there students, but i'm not. Instead I thank her for her generousity.

My point is, we already getting so many free services in this site. This site in 100% free as promised by Dean while he was selling his book on TV. But Dean did not promised us that SFL should also be FREE. Come on guys, don't get frustrated, have a business mindset. Dean said that if buying SFL will sacrifice food on our table, then don't buy it, it's that simple. Blessings to all. LA

I don't think anyone was expecting the SFL system to be FREE... Just not so far out of reach for the average person that was hoping to use it to get started. No intelligent person would expect such a comprehensive tool to be free. I don't even object to the $1495 price. I just think that most people following the SFL videos were expecting a more affordable payment plan - considering that most people find Dean when they're so broke they can't pay attention, and no money down RE deals seem like a good thing to look into.

I was even thinking he was going to make it available as a web-based, downloadable program. (That would keep his production costs down and he could pass the savings along to his students.) I had no idea he was putting together such a monstrous package! I'm sure it's well worth it. I wish I could borrow a credit card from my younger self and get it right now!

Dean's team as an option to lower the payment for his loyal DG family here. Hopefully it'll bear fruit.

Nifty, Tammy. We'll see what Dean has stashed up his crisp sleeves for his beloved underdog students.

I hesitated about the SFL system but I actually bought it. And you know what... it's amazing so far. I haven't received the full package yet, still waiting for the EDGE 2010. And the done for you marketing and automation system is really awesome!!!. I am so excited. I was able to find more than 500 cash buyers in my county, in WA state. As soon as I receive EDGE 2010 DVD's, I'll start doing the RE. But I'm still kind of freaking out. I don't know how to approach the other buyers and sellers and what to say and stuff like that, but all the postings and Deans videos keep me motivated. That's awesome. Will keep you all posted.
