Randy, You are a very thoughtful and generous person for offering such a fantastic opportunity. I think it is a great idea. If you could structure it in a way that would prompt the winner to give back in the same way when they acheive success then the snowball effect would be phenominal!!!

My story - I was a student of the Success Accademy three years ago and struggled with having the time to devote to the program. I am a single mom with a large childcare business which keeps me very busy. I still have little time but continue to have much interest in investing. I have continued to study Dean's lessons and have also invested in SFL and The Edge training. I have had some success as I have purchased an investment property in Phoenix and have recently helped a friend invest in a rental property of their own. I am so anxious to take my investing to the next level, but I am still overwhelmed with how to manage my time to acheive my investment goals. I would love to have the opportunity to work with someone who could guide me in streamlining my processes. Count me in!!!!

What a great idea, and it doesnt surprise me at all to see you post this amazing offer! So all you people out there who are giving this all you've got with the academy and the coaches but need that extra hands on experience - this can bust things wide open for you! I sure hope that all of those who have posted in the past that they have done everything they were supposed to but still couldnt close a deal will see this and post here and take advantage of the opportunity. I'm sure there are alot people waiting to hear if you get the green light.

Randy you are the man. I think it would be great for some lucky student to get to spend the weekend with you.

Please stay positive, become this bright flashbulb that spits positive energy day by day ! If you haven't closed your first deal, please, take baby stapes, work at it every single day and don't listen to negative people and most important TAKE ACTION! Myself, been in the academy for about 5 month now and it feels like another couple of weeks and i will have first deal done. I am 22 years old, in school full time, have strong accent, sometimes my agent can't understand me xi xi , didn't know anything about real estate business, just a few days ago made one of the coaches to explain me simple purchasing agreement almost word by word, big thanks to him!!) i am on the way to success and soon you will see me sitting besides Dean on one of the weekly blogs and i would like you to follow me!!! thank you all and lets keep climbing!!!

I am really shock that their hasn't been more res pose than this. I am always getting PM from people that say the academy hasn't helped them, are they can't get threw to the line. Are if they leave a message they don't get a return call. Like I said early, If their was a lot of response i was going to check with the coaches to see who was really trying. I do know for a fact they keep up with everything. And yes they do reply. If they don't they want be employed anymore. It really ashamed that all the people they do help don't post.

If you need some where to go you can always come out to California. I like the academy but I can always use help from more sucssessful people like your self. Or may be we can meet up in the area of Indiana I am dealing in and we can take over the town.

Every day I am more and more amazed by DG's 'family'; it really sparks my motivation to believe and achieve!
I'm currently in the Academy- but I hope to one day be a DG successful investor and also be able to give back! I was told that the Academy has 85% ratio of successful students-I'm gonna be in that 85%!!!

of Dean's books that I am studing, but I'm learning from this forum things

not covered in the books. I am impressed with the help so many are

giving.

I live somewhere between Randy and Matt Larson. I've been interested in

real estate for several years. My biggest concern is a buyer's list.

I wouldn't live anywhere except where I live now, but unless you are

retired income would be a problem here. I am going to keep moving forward.

Randy you are such a great giving individual. I've been a little busy trying to work on my web sites and the SFL system, so I didn't see this post until now. But wow what a great idea! The Success Academy is unfortunately not within my reach at present but I'm working on doing a deal as best as I can right now. Like always reading everyone's posts on here is refeuling my focus. And reading a forum like this reminds me that there are successful people out there who are willing to give there time to help! Thank you Randy for remaining one of my favorite inspirational investors!!! I hope to meet you someday.

The academy is a great idea but its not in my budget & I think its some what my learning curve when it comes to realestate .
What im trying to ecomplish in life is great & I hope the capital I earn from my future investments in property will lead the path to achive my goals ,I plan on using my earnings to create a system that then makes my money work for me, instead of me working for it. To become financialy stable.
Then the most important providing oportunitys for others , for free. To lift the over all economy out of rescission . Thats a small vision of mine I REALLY NEED MENTORING were im from theres limited ojt but if anyone have advise for a brotha just inbox me.

I read the first time you posted this. And never came back till today, assumed you'd get tons of people wanting the help. And though I would too, I also know that 90% of most peoples problems is just fear to do it. I too had Deans first book for 2yrs, then bought another book last year. Till Feb of this year after ordering the Empowering Convesations, then the Academy and in August SFL. And I to am out of unemployment, lost my job because of the horse accident. And just like many people on here, you hit 60yrs old and no one hires you anymore.
But I didn't just sit and learn and then not do anything..I talked to everyone, in check out lanes, rummage sales, and where ever I went, just start a friendly conversation. I met 3 investors by doing that, and have all their phone numbers. I started stopping at FSBO and said I was just passing by and was an investor who works with other seasoned investors, and would they be interested and talking further in the next day or two, and see if it would help them. All said yes.
Then I called REMAX, like Matt said is a one to work with investors. Told him my plans and this young agent wants to learn more, I gave him some DVDs from DG and yesterday, he wrote up my first contract offer on a house with 60% equity!! I haven't heard back from the owner yet, but even if I come up on my price, there is plenty of room.
I advertised the house already with no address yet, and have had calls. I tell them I just put in the offer on this one but have others. Not really, but will find some!! Yes I was scared to talk to possible buyers, but it was easy to get this started. Once I stopped coming up with reasons why I couldn't do this.
So yes I would love to have help, but I started looking for other "Wisconsinites" and found some, so we are going to start talking and helping each other.
Funny, I worked in ICUs and trauma rooms for 30 yrs, encountered all kinds of stuff and was scared to call a stranger about a house. One of the coaches said I should act like the investing was urgent and that would get me braver!
But the worst that could happen, they'd say no, and no worse off than I was, but if they say yes,,,,,great!!
I cannot purchase my property from yesterday, so need to assign, but feel confident with how good the house is and deal, I will get rid of it fast, and do have an exit clause.
So everyone, just do something no matter how small it is. If you have no desire to change it you will never get anywhere. Because the days don't stop passing by. I need to change my life,,yesterday!
So hope everyone can help each other, that is what this is all about.

I think what you are offering is incredible and, as someone who has been struggling, I know I would appreciate the chance as well. However, I was thinking ... why limit it to myself or just 1 student? Why don't you choose an area and meet...say...5 people in that state to spend the weekend with? I know I would be ok with sharing and, in a state as big as CA, I'm sure there would be more than enough response to find 5 people. My business partner and I are already 2.

As for the lack of response from success academy complainers, the sad thing is...I think the people who spend their time complaining do not end up spending enough time DOING...so they end up quitting.

While I am still working on completing my first deal (and am hopefully close once I can lock in a hard or private money lender, which is my current sticking point to work through), I got into this knowing it was not a get rich quick scheme...and appreciate Dean and his mentors never presenting it as such.

EVERY NEW BUSINESS REQUIRES PERSEVERANCE!!!!
So...lesson 2, after getting over the fear to get started is to KEEP GOING!!!

I hope I get to a point where I can offer the same thing someday, Randy. Please let us know if you do end up getting the ok from Dean to do this. I'd be happy to officially sign up for the chance.

Are you referring to Randy's offer to mentor someone for the weekend? If so I assure you this is not a scam. Randy is a great guy who struggled to make RE work and found a way to tweak lease options to work for his audience so to speak. Check out his video.

Personally I would be forever grateful for Randy's help as he is an out of the box thinker and I am dealing with difficult area and many obstacles despite the Success Academy's help. So put me on your list Randy!!!

I'd be interested and yes I'm in the success academy already. I'm in a college town and I'm working towards getting my first real deal done. I've got a rental house now, but I used my own money to get into that deal. I'd like to start working with investors more and making some real money with assignments, lease options, etc...

If you could show me the ropes I'd put in the time and one day be glad to give a weekend of my time to help someone else.

I see it was removed. There was something on here entitled "sonbags" and it went on about womens handbags. I must have came on just as they posted it, and asked what that was about. It was quite lengthy and had nothing to do with real estate.
But now I don't see it, so maybe it was removed. When I went on that persons profile, nothing was filled out and they had just joined that same day.
And it was right before I posted asking what it was.
I know Randy is not the scam, that is not what I asked about. But the title was sonbags, and went on about the early 1900's and all these handbags history.
I follow Randys and many others, but was surprised that the wierd post got in here.
But it is gone, now.
I would love to have his help too, but I know there are many people out there that need it more than I do. And I have found others in Wisconsin now, and we are going to help each other.
I think everyone should reach out and try to help even one more person. I rec'd a PM from someone in Illinois and she asked for my help. Don't know why she picked me, and said she tried to ask for help from others.
I helped with the best I could about bird dogging for others to get her started.
But "really" there was that odd post, and I wrote under it asking about it. It even had websites about hand bags to go to.
Glad it is gone...
And I hope more people will work even over the phone, to pick one more and help out.
These posts have given me "huge" courage and answers.
And I am grateful for all the advice and help I rec'd.

First of all, I am a Success Academy student and in reading I'm shocked as well. Secondly, I always get through to a coach. I may have to wait a "few seconds", "not minutes", however I am always able to speak to someone. I just spoke to a coach last week who was very friendly and helpful. There are always complainers, always! I haven't landed my first deal yet, I've had some serious issues with family, however nothing is going to stop me now! I'm on the move!

I speak to the coaches more than once a day LOL! They are always amazing and helpful and they are so excited to help.

Any problem I have had they have always tried to help solve it.

Maybe those other people haven't tried other programs cause i tell you what. I spent over 40k on one program and they didn't even touch what PMI does for me and my partner.

I am not trying to brag but seriously I love PMI. they are so worth it every single last penny.

Wait and the best thing is after your 5th deal you get all your money back. WHAT??? yeah whats to lose seriously. Oh yeah you have to actually do the work they tell you to do:) Do work hmmm!

Back on topic though I think everyone who is serious about this should want someone who is active and doing it to help them especially if he is GIVING IT AWAY!
