The 4th of July is always a terrific holiday. We get together with family and friends and celebrate our nation’s independence. There is so much to celebrate!

Freedom is something at times we take for granted but should also cherish. We are free to do what we want and have opportunities that others wish they only had. Sometimes we do not see the opportunity because it is right in front of us.

We have to have that same fight when it comes to our freedom. To be free of a daily job! Free of a daily boss! Free of doing something we do not want to do! We know we can do better. We know we are destined for great things but we need to fight the obstacles and over come whatever is holding us back.

At your day job if your boss told you to get a buyers list of 10 buyers by the end of the day - YOU WOULD!

If your boss told you to get 3 realtors to send you listings of properties by the end of the day - YOU WOULD!

If your boss told you that you had to find the best properties every week and make 5 offers - YOU WOULD!

Well it's time to fight for your Independence!!!

Do you have a goal for your own Independence Day???

What is the price of your freedom worth to you?

Would you like to leave that day job?

When are you going to declare your independence from that day job?

Often people do not appreciate what others can do until they are gone. This is true in the workplace and sometimes even at home.

Many employers believe that everyone can be replaced. This is true, everyone can be replaced but does the next person to replace you have the same ethics, credibility, drive, motivation, creativity and work ethic that you might have?

I often think about the quote from the holiday movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” Clarence the Angel tells George.......“Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?”

Therefore, each day do one thing to get you closer to your dreams because if you do today what others are not willing to do, then tomorrow you can do those things that others are only dreaming about doing!

I haven't been on the DG website in a few days and wanted to thank you for continuing to keep up with the daily adventure blog. This is very helpful to a lot of us.

The Independence Day message is great and reinforces what Dean says about creating our own Independence Day for our own families. That is a fabulous message and I appreciate all that you said here.
