I feel as though today I am making a little history for myself as no one before me has reached this 20,000 Point plateau. As I write this, there is only one user at 11,000 points and only one other user at 10,000 points. This post will make my 20,000 Point on DG.com.

I remember back in April 2009, Stacey and I were at Dean's first ever Gain the Edge Event in Phoenix Arizona at the Arizone Grand Hotel. We were walking to the Friday night meet and greet and a worker at the hotel asked us if we would like a ride on his golf cart. As people lined up to enter we were slightly embarrassed to enter the event via this luxiourous golf cart. There were people staring and we even heard a few say...."Who are they, they must be important." The truth being told we were 2 very nervous brand new investors that then sat at a table for two as I drank a Diet Coke. As we sat there enjoying our Diet Cokes, I heard someone bring up a website that I never heard of before. The website was www.deangraziosi.com

Stacey and I made a commitment to become DG.com Members as soon as we returned home. We did become DG.com Members and I navigated through the website. I realized I could learn alot of great information, get encouragement from other members and even help other members with the knowledge I was beginning to learn.

I joined DG.com on April 28, 2009 and got my first few points. I went from zero points to 10 points and was kind of excited as I got more points and collected a few badges along the way.

Today, marks 20,000 Points for the DG.com User Indiana-Joe. It is like getting excited when we watch our car turn 100,000 Miles. We always remember seeing the odometer turn and where we were at. I reflect back on all the comments, posts, and information shared during these 4 years. It is true that time does pass us all by very fast in life.

It has been a journey and an adventure. Sometimes we make posts that help ourselves and even help so many others along the way. I hope my posts, information, and comments have helped to touch or change your life in some way.

It has been a busy Summer as Fall comes into the Midwest like a lion this week. Temps went from 60's to 20's......Brrrrrr Cold!

As we get out there and look for deals, we are finding more than we can handle. It has been awesome to partner up with several other people to do deals.

We are getting more deals than we can handle at this point, so if you are looking for a deal and have cash, there is plenty for everyone. There are great deals for buy, fix and flips as well as buy and hold rentals.

If you have CASH, we are looking at working with a few more Cash Buyers for the deals we are finding in the Midwest. Please feel free to send us a private message through the PMs.

Hi Joe-

I just wanted to say thanks for all you do for us.

It's just 14 days shy of being a year ago that we met you at our Boots On The Ground in San Francisco. I often tell people at our REI group about you taking us to Lowe's and giving us a shopping list for flipping houses!

Without A Paddle RE has closed our 4th deal since mid-July. Took us a while to get the first, but we're moving along now! And once again, we're moving out of our comfort zone and looking at how we take that momentum to the next step. One thing we've done is make contact with other DGrs that are in our market area. Finding out ways we can work together for progress. How did we find them, we're on DG.com every day - reading, learning, and doing. CA isn't easy, but it is doable!

We just went to one of Deans free events and we signed up for the 3 day training class 8,9,10 in Kansas City this month and we are super excited.

It gives people so much confidence especially when they are brand new and just starting. Keep up the good work and keep moving out of your comfort zone. If you are willing to do what others are not willing to do, you will get those deals that others wish they could get!

I am glad you like the Lowe's Tour. I could walk that store in my sleep and I have been to a Lowe's in almost every state now. So many people enjoy the tour and often tell mre they learned so much about products and rehabbing.

Joe always liked your upbeat posts keep em coming. I know you are always on the lookout for great deals as everybody is here on the board. But wondered if you keep up with the news? I read something that Dean once said about watching the news but not all of it is bad and some keeps us informed on info that we all need.

Read an article in Wall Street Journel that showed a list of 10 or 15 cities that are nearly out of money to run everyday expenses. One of those was Chicago which was around 3rd to 5th I think and I thought of you when I saw that. I'm not sure how this would effect your city and what would be raised to makeup the shortfall.

I invest just right now in my town and am a small buyer. Have a lot of other investers in this county. As this is the second fastest growing county in Indiana.
