Meanwhile you can try and locate other members by going to the "Main Sections" (top left)under REI Clubs/Groups and find your state and try to network.

It's good when this thread resurfaces, I have it bookmarked now and want to go thru and make a list of people by locale.
From the Edge this year, I had so many people asking for buddies, help, support, etc. that I started a new thread hoping to get a lot of visitors and keep track as states and areas call out. It got action for a minute, but it gets pushed back.
Mike and Mark, what's the best way to keep a thread active without shoving it people's faces? Shall I add it to my sig, or????
In hopes on launching some excellent Coffee House groups across the country,
can you help get peeps showing interest?

HI. Great Idea, but I do believe that TrustPoint (DG Super Star) hit it right on.
I'm sure that most people don't ever give out personal information even on sites such as this one.
I think that's not very professional from my standpoint on this DGsite, but I can't argue the point either.
I would go for-it! It would save time and help with more structure in the the way we find information. That's my opinion anyway.
This is a great site. I love this DG Family.

I think the best (only?) way to do this is to have somebody take the time to go through the thread, write up the info in a spreadsheet or word document and then convert that into a .pdf so anybody can read it with minimal fuss.
Whoever takes this task on will have to update it once a month or so.
If they had the new site up and running by now... might not be an issue, who knows?
