The Edge is always incredible! It is almost impossible to choose one particular nugget when you are in the Mother Lode!

"Get is one swim lane and swim that same lane over and over and over! Then swim it again!" Love that, too. When you are working in a smorgasbord of opportunity, you so often want to jump from one to the other. DON'T DO IT!

The Edge was so full of great information it's tough to pick one, but I'm gonna give it a try! I thought Matt's presentation was my ah ha moment. I realized that the foundation of your business is extremely important if you want to get to the top. Set a solid foundation with the education, smart financial decisions, and your why, and you can go anywhere.

Just registered in here. One takeaway was when Jen said that we each choose our own path. We either choose the one we already have, or we choose the one we want to have. Very inspirational! All the speakers were fantastic!

It was nice meeting you DG'ers. See you guys again next year

My husband Lonnie and I have had a busy year, but attending the Edge Event for the 2nd year in a row really gave us the kick in the pants we needed to get out of the rat race of life and start collecting checks from new deals! We are committed to get going on wholesale deals this year.

Thank you to all of you amazing presenters! Your wisdom and knowledge are greatly appreciated and WILL not be taken for granted.

Biggest takeaway for me personally is not focussing in the NOT TO DO LIST. I'm moving forward with positive energy only. No more excuses.

I was very fortunate to be able to get to the EDGE this year, God is so good! Saturday was just phenomenal, but I was not able to make it Sunday due to health issues (one day these will be resolved!!). Anyway, I will be watching the replay for stuff I missed. It was great meeting some of the people on here who I've been reading about for years, but I was disappointed in that I didn't get to meet everyone I wanted to. There's always next year!! Thank you Dean and Company!

As always it was a great event. I can't believe it has been 5 years since Joe and I started our journey. We came home today and realized that 5 years ago today it all began for us. We started our journals on dg.com and then as they say, the rest is amazing.

I enjoyed all of the speakers and it is amazing to always continue to learn techniques and ideas. It is so nice how the speakers share their information to help others.

I must say I have to thank Joe for all the information and laughter he gave on Sunday. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, as everybody held their bellys laughing. I think I was loudest one laughing. All those stories he told are 100 percent true, I find them so funny because I lived through them.

Good Luck and can't wait to see everyone next year.

It was an absolute AWESOME experience attending the event this year for the first time.

There was SO MUCH incredibly useful information that I gained from this event... very difficult to boil down to just one thing.
I would have to say the 2 BIGGEST 'Take-Away' Thought / Items - I walked away with as a Newbie in all of this would be:
1 - Get out of "Analysis Paralysis" mode - go ahead and submit an offer as long as the numbers make sense to you.
2 - Take ACTION each and every day, no matter how big or small. DO SOMETHING that moves you towards your goal - whatever that may be.

The Edge event this year was great and gave me another boost I needed. While I've been going every year now for 4 years, I still take something away every year.

I'm not one of the students that does the MOST deals. I HAVE managed to build up 1.75 million in equity. I am house rich and cash poor. So, this is the reason liquidity really stuck out for me like a sore thumb. It was obvious before Matt spoke though, that I would be liquidating some of my assets. However after Matt spoke, I revised the goal on what I wanted to do with that money.

As one of the students that started in the negative rather than at 0, I have managed to drastically change that situation to the positive. But now I'm ready to continue to rock and step back from all the busy work. While I knew and set goals to lessen the amount of stress in my life and business, I wasn't 100% sure HOW to do that. I am now. I've posted my revised goals and why on Facebook that I created right then and there in the spot at the Edge event. No time like the immediate present.

Tomorrow and throughout next week I'm breaking them into quarterly, monthly, weekly and then daily goals. But I am completely getting rid of the stress in my life in EVERY area of my life. I sIncerely, genuinely believe I am now on the right path. My path has been the correct one for ME, however it needed readjusting as I grow further in my journey. So the takeaways for me this year were HUGE!

Dean, there was something about you this year that's on a whole 'nother level, if that's possible . The speakers were wonderful, the networking is AMAZING as always. I went outside my comfort zone to sit primarily with people I didn't know, and have built a start to a new great network of people. This is the year I help other DGers make money while restructuring my own wealth and riches.

Dean, you're the best and your team and speakers are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

I hope your team will send a feedback sheet this year. I got a tremendous amount from over a dozen people I'd like to share with you. Maybe have the team make it online and something everyone who attended fills out before they get a copy of the EDGE. Btw, I left you a message in my skydiving video.

This year was my second edge event and it was so awesome. There was so much new education packed into 3 days and the atmosphere is incomparable to any thing else on the planet EVERYONE HELPING EVERYONE. Deans staff crushed it they were all rock stars and the speakers well you had to be there if you missed this one you need to be at the next one me and my wife Tina will never miss an edge event. Special thanks to you Dean for improving all our lives and to Matt Larson for always over delivering. Jen Gray you are an insiration . Huge applause to Andrea and Gina best mc job ever. Every one if you didn't go please take the time to watch any part of it that is replayed. Any 5 minutes of this event can change your life forever if you just take the action. Next year I am gonna try to be one of those people no I am going to be one of those people everyone says Wow he crushed it and that is why he is on that stage giving us his testimonial and telling us his techniques. Thank you for taking the time to do another EDGE Event for all of us. This year we had so much fun, met so many new people and even learned more great information to go back home and use to start getting immediate results in our real estate business.

I often say there is so much information coming at you so fast, it is like when I was a kid trying to get a drink out of an open fire hydrant! I feel like I need to be a sponge or a Bounty Paper Towel "the quicker-picker-upper" that Madge the waitress would use in an old tv commercial to be able to soak up the information even faster.

We have been to every EDGE event from 2009 through 2014 and it is always marked on our calendar for the next upcoming year. We would not miss it for the world! This year I felt that the entire city was buzzing with excitement as the enthusiasm of the DGers over flowed from the hotel into the city's streets!

I believe I even heard the song "Happy" as Pharell Williams was singing in a DG EDGE Event video as DGers ran out into the streets singing "HAPPY"! The Edge had so much excitement "it was like a room with out a roof"! People were clapping along because they knew "Hear come bad news talking this and that! Gimme all you got and don't back! No offense to you don't waste your time! - Here's why.... Because I'm happy" and "my level is too high and can't nothing bring me down, BECAUSE I'M HAPPY!"

I really believe Pharrell Williams must have been at one of Dean's previous EDGE Events and the song he wrote was inspired from a previous EDGE event!!! (Hmmmm, I hope Dean gets a royalty from inspiring that song)

DGers know not to listen to those naysayers out there. I saw happy and excited DGers every where I went and you could see that look in their eyes like they just found a treasure map. The EDGE was packed with Golden Nuggets and other gems of precious information. Indiana-Jones would even know the values of all those gems and could not resist the challenge of coming back. Maybe even the next sequel "Indiana-Jones and the DG Rehabbers of the Lost Deals".

I think they did find a treasure map because successful people know knowledge is power and you need to treasure that others such as you and the DG Superstars are willing to share their treasure of real estate knowledge!

Thanks for putting on what is by far the best Real Estate event on the planet!! For me there were so many 'take a ways" that I can't begin to list them. One of them actually came from the audience. Dave stated that he and his wife (business partner) have a 15 minute meeting first thing every morning to get going and get the day organized. Deb and I are starting that TODAY!

Dean, Deb and I wish you nothing but the best in this and all your new ventures and challenges. You have a beautiful family and what an amazing group of friends!

WHAT A GREAT EVENT!!!!!!!

The EDGE provides you with the latest information, techniques and insight to propel your business to the next stages. Whether a new investor, or a seasoned professional, there were many, many nuggets of investing wisdom the you can use to reach and exceed your goals. As we go through our investing strategies and deals, there are times when there appears to be no path forward, even though we can clearly see the other side.

The vision I received at the EDGE is akin to Indiana Jones standing at the edge of the ravine in "The Last Crusade" seeing the other side and knowing the Holy Grail is there, but with no apparent path to the other side. As Indiana takes the first step into what appears to be thin air, the hidden bridge appears!

The tools, techniques, presentations, and the networking at the EDGE event make the bridges appear for your investing success path. Getting the information was the easy part. Now for the hard work (really enjoyment as success grows) of putting the newly acquired information to work in our business.

I could go on and on about the significance of this event, but I think you get the idea. Time to get to work and reap the rewards of EDGE attendance.

PS: Needless to say we are looking forward to next year's event, anticipating even more hidden secrets that will get us to the other side again, and again, and again...... Your get the idea!

Barb Urbassik, here...The 2014 EDGE Event is over but WOW!....Not only are the Speakers amazing but the background people did a phenomenal job...can't list them all but a few I remember we Jeremy! , Susan!, and Kate!...this truly is a family...there are just toooo many things shared that were amazing...not only from the speakers but also to the other DGers...our notebooks are over flowing with a wealth of information...in addition the networking opportunities with like minded people are extensive...truly has put us on the path to succeed...

My biggest Aha moment was at the Mastermind when Matt had us write down a list of what we do every day for our real estate business then swap our notebooks with the person beside you...mine was pitiful...it said "make decisions"...pretty weak....Gena Horiatis came over to look at my "list"...She asked why are you here if you don't do RE...I won't bore you with the rest just that I realized this is a business not only for husband, Drew but for both of us and that I REALLY need to step up and participate....so now we are going to meet for maybe 15 minutes every morning and make a list of what WE need to accomplish with our RE every day...take that list, divided it out for who does what and anything that neither of us want to do HIRE someone to do those things like buyers list telephoning....a simple solution to moving the boulders that were in our way...

Another thing that we realized that this is an act of Love for Dean, Matt, Gena, Andrea, Ali, Brian and all the presenters...these very successful people take time out of their busy lives to share their experiences with you so they can expand their DG family and help us be successful, too...it was amazing the various ways they have been successful...each customizing their RE businesses to their lifestyle and needs....

This truly was an amazing experience and we have already signed up for next years...we had no idea this year what this was about and they reassured us that this would be a great experience and extremely beneficial to us going on and it was even SO MUCH MORE...

THANK YOU!!! This was the first Edge for Kelly & I and we LOVED IT! There are so many takeaways that it is hard to pick just two. We learned that we need to Dream Bigger and Just DO It! We can use wholesaling as income replacement...not just the rentals although we want the rentals to secure our granddaughter's future. Second was develop a PROCESS and FOLLOW IT! I am a world class procrastinator and perfectionist so the idea of just doing it and be happy with 85% perfection was eye opening. We will be working on that liquidity too! The weather and the networking were incredible. We want to thank EVERYONE for the EXCELLENT event. Everyone worked so hard! Our sincere appreciation.

This years EDGE event provided everyone with new insights as to how we may provide additional services to help others.

We are all given equal access to opportunities. Everyone has access to the same education through Dean and his team of experienced investors. However, few will take action to achieve their dreams and more importantly, to help others so desperately in need.

Seize this opportunity with vigor. Dean, Matt, Andrea, Rhea, Carol, Joe, Ali, Blake, and others, have our backs. But if we don't step to the plate and swing, they can't help us.

If we swing and miss, try again and learn from the past swing. If you're not sure as to how to approach the next ball thrown, ask and the DG family shall provide guidance as to how to stand, hold the bat, and hit one out of the park. But you must swing for the stars.

Sure, you can do this on your own--at a decelerated speed. But if you take the initiative and ask for help, you will succeed at a much faster pace.

the advantage of this is:

You will be able to focus on your unique abilities, that translate to the biggest profits possible,and pass it off to an "A" player who will be more than willing to do it (either through a fee, relative wage, and/or internship).

...over time, if you ARE the system, then didn't you just create a full-time job for yourself?! Therefore, Lear it, take action through application, quickly master it, record/document it (think of it as creating a job description for some one else to step in and be able to easily replicate it), & "pass it off" to someone else you deem qualified.

Brenda and I are still sitting by the pool at the Firesky soaking in all that we learned at the Edge this year. We are picturing ourselves where we want to be in a year and putting into place the action steps needed to get there. Our biggest take-a-way was that we can "do it". We were given all the tools, such as the 7 steps from Ali to how to build buyers list to how to close a deal. Some what to do if's.... Our why was renewed. That we need to remove of obstacles that keep us from moving forward. It was obvious to us that Dean and his staff care, want to see us succeed and is available to help us do just that. We are so excited to be able to come back next year and reward Dean and his staff by "nailing it".

I want to thank you and your team for another great event. I ask you last year to teach and you trusted me enough to do that and it means so much to me. Dean was highly motivating with KOA leadership. KOA: Knowledge-(DG education), Opportunity- (real estate deals), and Action-(Close deals).
DG is positively supercharged.. must be a secret ingredient in the the green drinks,..YOUTH!

JOE was fantastic and humorous with motivating the investor by finding motivated seller strategies. What a great Chicago team of Joe and Blake with excellent presentation skills. Their tips were worth the trip. Photo clues of sniffing deals were good fun. 25:1

Gena and Andrea were awesome women Super Heroes. Carol and Jen provided mindshift talks by looking through rose colored glasses while the glass is overflowing, never empty.
Ali, Matt, Nate, and Mike were stellar.
The 10 minute quick sessions had a great interactive session providing a system framework and fantastic marketing tips. One suggestion is for these two teams presenting 50 mins. next year. Getting more than 10 minutes while sharing knowledge helps motivating investors.

Thanks Dean for the opportunity you have given to us.

My biggest take away is if you want to get rich slowly stay in your back yard. We will be working on remote wholesaling.

Get my realtor to make offers every 3 days if they haven't gotten an offer accepted. I had a meeting today with my realtor to regroup and make this happen. She is on board and hungry!

We had an amazing experience and started joint ventures together and even got a private lender.

Thank you so much for just being a caring person and you are an amazing father, and just to drill into the why in life do what we want to do... we have our why now we just never put in into the perspective you did.
