Im so sorry to hear you lost your money. I dont know what all happened, but I never understood why people screw each other over in business. Does a few hundred or a few thousand dollars outweigh the future profits of potiental business?

It was my own stupidity, so I have no one else to blame. It is sad that one you think is so trustworthy turns out to be anything but. I find it more sad than anything. When things keep being pushed down the road and then the business folds and the person says they are burn't out and avoids your calls, but then keeps texting you incomprehensble texts, so as not to man up and speak directly to you on the phone, but rather says they are busy.

It makes no sense to me. It adds up to something else entirely in my mind. I think it would be important enough to take the time to speak on the phone. It is what it is! I have had enough of the run around though and don't have the trust to work together anymore, although they are saying now to wait til the end of March. Last month was wait until Mid Feburary and I heard nothing until I finally called to see what was going on. Seems that they are just waiting for contract year to expire and take the money for nothing.

I feel really bad for you. It makes you angry at yourself, I understand that. But you aren't stupid.

This person has set himself up to be one of the last that anyone would think would do that. I am very sad over it all.

If people on this site are doing that sort of stuff they need to be called out by name. That way everybody knows who to watch out for and the offender can tell his side of the story.

I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. It was a surprise to me. Maybe things can still be worked out between you two.
I think it is wise of you to use the discretion that you have used on this site.

About the sucker, who took your hard earned money & ran. It makes the good gurus or the good fellas on this site who probably do the same thing look better and better. Trust is easy to loose, like your credit score, yet tough to get it back! I like the idea of releasing their name. If not, their user name, so we know not to deal with him/her. Or, maybe in a PM?

I think you should name them so others won't fall prey to their scheme.

I created, pay for and work on DG.com continuously to create a safe place of wisdom, knowledge and connection for my students and when someone violates one of my family members it truly ****es me off big time.

We have people on the site non stop looking for people doing this.. NO ONE I mean NO ONE is authorized to sell anything on this site, especially coaching or training.

I'm going to get even tougher on this now that I've read your story.. If someone even offers training to a DG family member for a fee and we find out they will be bounced off the site indefinitely. No exceptions!!!!!!

I do know Dean will take care of it as he said. There are alot of good people on this site that pay it back and give advise happy and freely to help someone.
Im not sure what your deal was but you are better using Deans coaches if your going to pay that kind of money for help.

Dean's staff has contacted me, and I have responded. I don't believe it is up to me to name the person, but I understand that people want to avoid bad apples. I believe that Dean's staff will decide what action needs to be done.

We are not really allowed to attacked others on this site, so I just wanted to make a warning to others.

Thank you Dean for your response as well, and I know I should have avoided this situation. I guess I just felt enough people had trust in the person and felt it was a risk I was willing to take. I was wrong to accept the help of others.

I was smooth talked and really had trust and believed this person was among my friends. He still claims he will call me in a month, but I will not work with him any longer.

Sorry you lost money Tammy, but I wanted to tell others to also be aware of
people looking for partners. They need someone to do all the work for them in exchange for a share of the profits.

A few weeks ago I was offered such a deal and in the end, when I had done all the due diligence work, including rewritten offers to remove legal language the seller was not comfortable with,(Dean's forms)I was told that the seller did not want to sell to me, only to him.(along with sorry this deal did not work out) she wants me to send her the offer in my name only. He said thank you for your help.

I could have done some of the work for someone, just to help them, for free, then direct them where to go, but the offer for a % for my efforts came from my potential partner. I think even though a person might come across as being nice, somewhere along the deal greed takes over. He totally forgot about his offer to share the profits.

I ended up loosing money from all the cell minutes used but also remember that "time is money", don't waste it on people that don't want to learn how to do their due diligence.
