The snow is coming, the snow is coming! The Midwest is preparing for a snow storm that might drop up to a foot of snow startng in the morning. So many grocery stores and gas stations were crowded tonight in anticipation of the snow. The frr homes and Land books were wiped clean off the shelfs at the local grocery store. People often prepare for work and for snow. What about their financial future? Now is the time to prepare by investing in real estate. Let's get going. Believe and Achieve! - Joe

Daylights Savings Time is officially here. I hope everyone is ready to Spring forward as we moved our clocks ahead one hour yesterday. The added hour of sunlight can be very refreshing. It was a busy weekend, as I was looking at homes all weekend. Hope everyone is having a great day. Believe and Achieve! - Joe

The automobile! The computer! The light bulb! The telephone! The television!
The airplane! The locomotive!

These are so many other things started with an idea. Well to tell the truth, a really creative idea. With real estate you are going to get ideas. You need to take action with these ideas and you very well may put yourself on a path toward success. If you try things and are constantly improving on them, you will get results. You will understand what is working and constantly be making it better.

Take the automobile. Does the auitomobile from 100 years ago look and drive like the automobile today? How many new features are in the cars of today? Take an idea and keep on improving on it! The same can be said about the telephone. Look at what phones can do today. Look at the power of a cell phone today compared to even phones 30 years ago. What would Alexander grahan Bell think of the phones today? How would he the telephone different today then the one he created in 1875?

Today, try to think of some new ideas to market, new ideas to find leads, new ideas to find buyers. The more ideas you get, the more creative you will get. You should always have a small tablet of paper and a pen because you never know when that next big idea will come your way.

I hope everyone is working on their next BIG idea or just idea to get ahead. The idea can be to find buyers or to find leads on deals, etc. The key is to the next idea is to be creative. Do what others are not doing and you will have results that other do not have! Believe and Achieve! - Joe

Great Revive & Thrive tonite! Thanks for reviving the "RE" fire in us. It's awesome to be reminded of the things we learned in the boots on the ground - coming from the different point of view (now that we had made over 50 offers, build our buyers list, dealt with Realtors). Now we feel like we are on the right track & understand what we may have missed.

I have been reading your blogs and saw that you began by offering 30-50% below asking prices and have still been getting deals. I am in a small city in California and have been making 10 offers a week and have yet to land a deal on MLS. I will begin putting up more bandit signs, since I have not done that for a couple of weeks. But, the competition between little cash investors and big cash investors is very obvious here: The big fish are taking them all. I have read that you have done out of state deals. Would you recommend I try out of state as a newbie investor? If so, How do you recommend I do these types of deals, run the due diligence, sign contracts, etc from where I am? I would truly appreciate your tips on this.

Thanks for stopping by the daily adventure journal. I would recommend you stay in your local home area to start. Keep on going a little farther out from where you live but also use as many ways as possible to generate leads for possible deals. I have enjoyed reviewing your journal and your most recent tips on looking at things in a new light. I especially love the Walt Disney quote about doing it until it's right, and the "inventors" way of looking at things.

I'm always amazed at how you continue to inspire myself and others.
