Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #308 - Stop Worrying!!!

This week Dean shares with you some secrets he has learned over the past few weeks on how to start worrying less and start living a happier life because of it.

Dean takes what he has learned from Dale Carnegie (yes, the late great writer!) and delivers that knowledge directly to you.

Hope you enjoy!

Oh! And don’t forget, there are THREE weeks left to submit a video describing how Dean has helped change your life!

And remember, if you do, you are automatically in the running to win an iPhone 6 and $2,500!

So don’t miss out!

Stop Worrying!!!

Luke 14:27 and how's this from Corrie Ten Boom:
"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength."
The enemy wants us weighed down in worry. The tool you shared from Dale Carnegie will help us defeat this plot and live in joy and victory! I love Dale's classic book "How to Win Friends and Influence People". I'll have to find more of his books. Thanks for growing us again this week. I can't wait to see all the videos of lives you have changed. Smiling

Thank you Dean you are the bestest!

Thanks very much Dean!

I would love to have your 'Totally Fulfilled" book, but when I click the link to get it, the email I receive only has links to "30 Day To Real Estate Cash" and "Student's Secrets". Is there an error or am I overlooking the correct link. Thank you.

Root Cause

Raul Pedrozo's picture

Thank you for you message this week.

Root cause analysis is extremely important to find out what the "real" problem is, as is developing an acceptable solution.

Have a great week!

Thank you Dean!

when do I not worry about things?! I've always worried about things, even for things that haven't happened yet!
I will put Dale Carnegie's exercise into practice!

my problems...

CandC's picture

Dean, There is a problem that keeps me up at night. I do not even want to talk about it. I only think of it and possible solutions. It seems to be out of my hands. But I do my best to cope or deal with it trying to put the pieces together. I could almost truly say it has broken me. This is as verbal as I have gotten. Maybe I will take it further and find the best solution, take the action, talk about it work it out. Will read the book, it may give me more insight. As I type this my lips are even tight. Thanks for the timely weekly wisdoms (again)... I don't know how but there's power when I'm on my knees.

Weekly Wisdom #308

Hi Dean:
Great advice!! I will definitely apply the four steps to solving my problems. I do realize that as long as there is life, there will be problems to be solved. Our approach to solving life's problems will make the difference to the results we get. Staying positive ( a challenge we have to strive to maintain) is one of the main ingredient to help us reach the best solution to solving our problems.

I tell you not to worry about your life. Don’t worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn’t life more than food or clothing? Look at the birds in the sky! They don’t plant or harvest. They don’t even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren’t you worth more than birds?

Can worry make you live longer? Why worry about clothes? Look how the wild flowers grow. They don’t work hard to make their clothes. But I tell you that Solomon with all his wealth wasn’t as well clothed as one of them. God gives such beauty to everything that grows in the fields, even though it is here today and thrown into a fire tomorrow. He will surely do even more for you! Why do you have such little faith?

Don’t worry and ask yourselves, “Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?” Only people who don’t know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all of these.

[THE PREREQUISITE] But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.

Don’t worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.

Totally Fulfilled

I don't know how to put it into words, but I first started reading your "Weekly Wisdom" before you named it. I was in a crisis in my life at that time. I had open heart surgery and was forced into retirement I was not prepared for. I want you to know that even though I never got into real estate, your Monday morning emails kept me encouraged while God put my life back together. At the age of 73 I am functioning as the Worship Pastor of First Baptist Church of Oxford, Florida. Something I prepared a lifetime to do. Again, your words of wisdom played a very important role in my survival and reorganization of my life. Thank you Dean so very much for being there for me when I needed daily encouragement.

Great Weekly Wisdom, No time for worry here!!!!...This is really the truth what I am about to say
"I used to worry about every little thing and now I have sooo many many many opportunities (some may say problems - not I) that I need to take action on that I don't have the time to worry and nor do I care to worry. WORRY gets me no where but takes away from productivity. Have a great Week Dean and DG FAM

A Sound Mind

Dean, I love what you say and sense that you are definately inspired. We sure need the negative washed out before we can truly accomplish much. Your teachings are the best!

~ 2 Timothy 1:7King James Version (KJV)

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind"

Dean you are incredible!

Dean you are an incredible guy in many ways!
Thank you! from one Italian to another I am
gonna squeeze the stuffins right out of you
for all of your giving!! when I meet you.

To worry is not productive

I have to say that I do not worry and I only focus on survival. I live by the Serenity prayer and accept the things that I can not change and change the things that I can and pray that I have the wisdom to know the difference. On top of that I filter out unnecessary information and messages. There is a lot of stuff that comes at us that we do not need. What I am saying is there is just some stuff that I don't need to know.

a lot going on

dirtelarry's picture

boy do i have a lot going on and a lot to worry about, i'm going to take your advice and try to clear my mind of all the junk i have consumed in the pass year.

Not trying to be flipped but......

AndyS's picture

In recent years, I have taken to the Alfred E Newman theory about worry. For those who don;t know, Alfred E Newman is the Face on the cover of MAD magazine and his philosophy is " What, me worry??? " And I have followed that to the point that I don;t worry about much anymore. As I constantly told my life coach, "It is what it is." Again, it may sound flipped but it's really not. It's accepting things for what they are. Add to it Dean's ( and the people he learns from) philosophies, and not only is there no need to worry but now solutions if you should start to worry. Life would be so much simpler and happier if we concentrated on what we can do instead of what might happen or what we have no control over. If you woke up this morning, it's a good day, isn't it? It is for me Laughing out loud The rest of the day is just icing on the cake.

Thanks Dean, for another great W.W.

You always seem to have good timing with the tips and techniques you share on your WW. I have been worrying, stressing, and feeling overwhelmed about what needs to happen as I transition out of my day job and into a full time RE investor. I will give this a try and focus on the solutions I come up with. We are working on getting the video done this week/weekend and look forward to being able to see others's videos too!

Thanks Dean for all you do!

Make it a great week!

I don't let things worry usually but my wife is on the opposite end where she thinks the worst a lot of times. It's a work in progress and sometimes difficult. She is starting to see things in a different way.
