Thanks Dean for such a great offer for the Edge Event.
I am not there yet so have set a Goal to Make The Edge in 2012.
As a grand-mother I would like to encourage all who are bringing children to consider:
Your childrens grand-mother 'tag along.' Offer her a trip and with income to boot. Get several of these 'precious mothering souls' there and pay them to 'sit with all the children' that will come with their parents.
Double Blessing! Pray it is an idea that works for all who need this.
Get Dean to contribute to 'Grand-mothering at The Edge Event' a copy of the event program/material and clips for 'their efforts.'

That is a great idea! My in laws would never do this unfortunately. (The other grandparents are in heaven up high always watching over my children). I'm all for grandmothering at the Edge, just won't have anyone I can bring. And, I have 4 children, so it can be pretty overwhelming, but 2 of them are the same age as Dean's kids. ANd, the other 2 are 10 and (will be 12) by the time of the Event. He's great with helping with the kids, as long as an adult is around. My 28 month old is all potty trained though, so I am out of DIAPER phase!

We unfortunately can not afford to attend the Edge event this year, as we have been saving to enroll in the Success Academy the first of February. We will work some deals and promise to see everyone next year. We wish you all the greatest success and God Bless.

A great offer but one that I can not take advantage of this year. My wife and I have lost our income at the present time. I would like to invest in other areas than where I live, learning how Carol Stinson has had such great success. I would really like to have her as a mentor in jump-starting my RE investing career.

What a great offer, however, we will have to pass this year. We are retired with a fixed income (hence, looking at your info); however, I do look forward to your usual material and DVD of the event when they become available. I will be able to afford those. In the meantime, I will reread your books and the posting by our fellow DGers.

Keep up the good work and keep encouraging us, as you do. Your "positive" words will get us over "the Edge" to our goals.

So often in life we make decisions. Some decisions are better than others. Each decision can impact our life and the outcomes that may follow. Back in March 2009 we ordered Dean's Book and then shortly there after heard about this event called the Gain the EDGE 2009.

Well, it is not even 2 years later and I can tell you that attending this event ignited a fire under Joe and I to succeed. It provided a roadmap of ideas on our real estate adventure. We made this 1 decision that has had such a dramatic imact on our lives.

I know many people that spend a few dollars several times a week on the little things, maybe a $4 Starbucks coffee or a $6 pack of cigarettes. Over the course of a year, will the Starbucks or cigarettes get you where you want to be? The choice is yours.

Now is the time to take action by attending this life changing event. If you attend this year, where will YOU be by next year? Do you have your ticket? Carpe Diem! :0) - Stacey

However my stepdaughter is getting married the weekend after and we have people coming out of town the weekend of the Edge staying with us for ten days. I will keep up with my education through the success academy and your blogs and next year I will be there.

Dean, I want to thank you for everthing you're doing for people. I red your books, joined the Success Academy,got the SFL but didn't do anything... Just do not feel self confident enough...Can't overcome this. You mentioned in your blog that if somebody hadn't made any deals it would be better to get started and may be come to a next year event. I think this is the better thing to do for me...? I'm dreaming of being a part of DG 's family.

Wish i could be there to meet every one in person. Won't be able to attent, have to get my butt in gear and get some deals done this year. Getting discouraged some times but i won't give up.

I just know that it would be so beneficial for me to be there but not able to this time. Been working on myself, trying to find the courage to step forward. Working hard on it! Hope to see you all next year. Is there a successful DGer that I can talk to that lives close to central North Alabama? I feel that having someone else to talk with would help me build my courage. My name is Kim and I am new the to program. I truely believe this event will change the my life, but due to my finances at this point in time, we are not able to attend. We will aim for next year. My husband and I are both sadden and wish we could make it this year. so our plans were to aim for next year.

I wanted more than anything else to attend the event this year and was looking forward to it. Circumstances just do not permit me to attend this year. I would truly love to be around other likeminded people and get the capabilities. I know everyone will have a great time.

I got the edge 2010 DVD and workBook it worth every pennie but sad to say I can't go this year I go next year with God help Dean knowledge and the Success Academy.Had not made a deal so far can't wait for my first deal.

I have the 2009 and 2010 Edge Event DVDS. They are fantastic! I hoped to go this year, but not sure I will have enough $'s to make it there before the venue is all filled. Still going to try. If anyone would like to cross their fingers for me, I wouldn't mind (LOL).

I truly would love to be there this year. However, there is little chance as I fall in the catagory of needing to pay me rent etc. You can rest assured that I plan on getting the most out of your tutoring. I just purchased the think a little different program. I'm going through it, will join the success academy soon and will purchase the DVD when you release it. If God spares my life and all things go as I plan I will be there in 2012.
