Welcome to the first edition of "Weekly Wisdom" - That's the name we picked for the blog based on your feedback.
This week Dean takes you to the whiteboard for a really quick and powerful lesson to set and achieve YOUR goals.
He also gives you a chance to grab his new book before it hits TV or bookstores. So get paper and pad and get ready for a GREAT six minutes of transformational information!
WEEKLY WISDOM!
Dean,
Great name, although any name would have been fine just as long as you continue the weekly blog. My goals are written down and I look at them every day and have broken it up into small steps to make sure I am doing real estate every day. Continue to inspire us Dean you are the best.

Great Wisdom
I appreciate the time that you spend in helping us. At the end of last weeks blog you were going to share a technique that is helping you be more successful and allowed you to buy more homes. Was the goal setting the technique?
I believe having goals are
I believe having goals are very important. Writing them down and having them in a place to see everyday helps as well. Good stuff as always Dean.
Great name! Thanks for
Great name! Thanks for showing us how to set up our goals and more to help reach them sooner.
Weekly Wisdom
Love it, great name - and thanks for all the wisdom!
I'm re-evaluating my goals today.... this is a great reminder for us all, and it's time that I take a look at my goals and make some adjustments.
Have a great week Dean!

Like the section on Goals!
Great post Dean!
A tool I learned was to take my goal sheet and convert it into a screen saver on my phone.
Most of us have a smart phone of some sort, (iphone/droid/blackberry) and they all let us have a screen saver.
Well, if you want to look at your goals many times throughout the day, making it your phones screen saver sure does accomplish that.
All the best,
Brad Thomsen

Thanks Dean!
Words of Wisdom...most definitely!!
Very simple and to the point is where we (I) need to keep it.
I started with 5 simple immediate (30 day) goals and putting it on paper; couldn't make it any clearer. The addendums of Why, Emotion, and What If really resonate and "drive it home"!
Thanks again for your continued efforts to keep us grounded and motivated to stay on the right track to success!
great blog
this is so powerful along with the seven levels deep to really make clear your why. life can eat you up without a strong why and clear goals thanx dean
EXCELLENT
way to focus in on the the WHY (details) of our business goals.. I did this with the RBBP and then posted them on my bathroom mirror and fridge so I see them every day - my constant reminder of my WHY. And the emotion part of it on both sides, boy gets right to the heart of the matter.
Thank-you Dean, as always, for making us dig deep within ourselves.
God Bless,
Tammy
Simply Awesome
Thanks for the lesson DG! When you take the time to do these lessons, it keeps the motivation level at maximum potential, which in turn forces you to take action. I will not be someone else's puppet the rest of my life, taking control starts today!!
Wonder Full Reminder
Thanks Dean!
Great stuff!
Thanks Dean! I'm starting with a few interns/mentors and the first thing I went over with them is goal setting! Your timing couldn't have been better! Awesome! I think its time to revisit my goals again; its been about 6 months! Refresh time!
Have a very blessed day!

Number 1
I've learned that not setting goals is the number one hinderance to me moving forward in my new career.
Thats my two cents for the week, and i think the new blog name is perfect.
Goals
I'm setting my goals and taping it to the inside of my medicine cabinet so I am reminded every morning of what I want to accomplish. It's a great way to start to the day and stay focused.

Weekly Wisdom is a good name I would only add to it Weekly Wisdom that Changes Lives.
The name keeps me focused.
Great name everybody! It calls it as it is! I have not been a written goal oriented person but am getting the emotions part and how feelings make the connection stronger.
Its great how I get more out of this than just good real estate advice.
Thanks Dean!
