Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #162 - After Christmas Santa

This Weekly Wisdom is not about making money in real estate. There's no new secret this week that will make your deals come in faster or be more profitable. In fact, for some, this blog may be more important than any of those things. Watch and see...

Merry Christmas Dean and thank you!

Merry Christmas!

Thank you so much for all that you do- and for your best, most inspiring blog of the year. I am very active in my little corner of the world, volunteering in the food pantry, the commission on aging, the Salvation Army, Red Cross- my wife says I don't know how to say no! I have 7 children and grandchildren living with me and it's important they see how easy it is to give back. Since I'm not exactly rolling in money, I gladly donate my time- something we can all do. I'm so glad to see someone in your position step up to the plate! Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Wow!

God Bless you Dean

I just love you to pieces and Merry Christmas.

You know what? Tough times never last but tough people do. I learned that from Robert Schuller at the Crystal Cathedral years ago when I experienced another crunch time. I just happen to be going thru a rough time again and I look to the ONE MOST High to get thru this.

I awoke this morning thinking about having an attitude of gratitude and to commit to write down at least 5 things each week for the next 10 weeks for which I am grateful. I will do this journal style and for each thing that I am grateful for (minimum of five) I will write an explanation of why I am grateful. This will keep me on track and focused on what is good. No time to think about what is bad.

I sit here by myself and that is not a woe is me. Its just a fact. No money to do anything but yesterday I got an email from Staples telling me that my staples rewards will expire end of December. I went over and got 2 reams of copy paper, 2 rolls of scotch tape and a desk top calendar. Wound up with $.12 left over. Yippee! Remember - a penney saved is a penney earned. So today along with some housekeeping I am going to be working on some paperwork for FannieMae and some strategic goal planning for 2012. I fixed myself a good breakfast and am working on a pot of coffee.

I am a hardship case for sure but I can tell you that I am going to do everything I can to be content no matter my circumstances but will not settle for less. My other big revelation is that I am the one in control of designing my life. Nobody else has that right or control over me.

I want to wish everyone in the DG Family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here is my gift to you:

Whatever is true,
Whatever is noble,
Whatever is right,
Whatever is pure,
Whatever is lovely,
Whatever is admirable--
if anything is excellent
or praiseworthy--
think about such things.

Philippians 4:8

Wow..wipe away the tears

thank you for sharing. I know you have helped Veronica and I more than you know. By helping us we pay contractors and contractors buy things in their area that helps someone else and so on. Dean you and Dean enterprises help so many people in so many ways. I would say that there is not an area of the USA that has not been helped by Dean Graziosi in some way.

Thank you for what you do Dean.

God bless you.

To you and your family and thank you for all that you do.

What an inspiration and inspirer you are. I've spent a lifetime trying to help others not just with money but with my knowledge, my time, my experiences, etc. In recent years I'd lost that ambition to help due to my own crises and situation. Through listening to your weekly wisdoms (and weekly blogs before the name change), I have slowly rejoined the ranks of the helping. You've showed me once again how it's better to give than receive and I'm doing a lot of giving. The satisfaction from doing that is immeasurable. Any reward above that is "Icing on the cake."
My hopes and plans are to have enough money through real estate to be able to give it away to the deserving. Even tho I am in the deserving category myself right now, I feel a change coming and coming soon. So I gladly give up my place in line to someone more deserving than me. I can take spot 51.

I wish all my DG family a happy holiday and a prosperous 2012.

Dean; Merry Christmas to you and your family and to everyone else in the DG family ...I have been struggling to get a foot up and try to make this Real estate thing work since last year but between just trying to keep up with supporting my wife in the philippines and keeping the lights on here working fulltime but part time at walmart it has been one of the hardest years in a long time. I was trying to get my Real estate license here in Central Florida but I have decided instead to devote myself to working with you and your organization instead. My electric and my computer cable has been Shut off several times this past year but I catch it up each time and get it back on (as you can see it is on now) but I could not get or send any gifts this year for Christmas. I got a microwave from the Catholic Thrift store here and gave that to Mom and Gave a copy of Profit from Real estate now to my brother and his wife and invited them to attend the semonar here in Daytona Beach on the 17th... (She has been out of work over a year now and her unemployment recently ran out) .. But you know wat??? my brother and his wife were the ones who gave the Christmas feast this year thanks to the Christmas turkey they recieved from the church. I used the promissary note in your book to keep from getting evicted by spreading the back payments I owed in back rent out over the next few months thru Payday payments till I get caught up.. I was surprised I negotiated that with my Lanlord and surprised they accepted it. I continue to suppliment Moms social security, support my wife in the philippines and pay my bills all on a $400 every 2 weeks paychek from walmart ( They keep shaving hours to keep their costs down).
But even amongst all this I look foward to becoming a Real Estate investor over the next year ... I plan to reduce the time I put in at Walmart but use it as a platform to contact people in need of help with homes there. I plan to use Assingments and bird dogging to get a foot up and then wholesaling to work myself up to $100,000 saved so I can get from under this debt I have and get my wife, son and I back together from the Philippines here in the U.S.. All of this by July of 2012 ... The DG site here tells me how it CAN BE DONE.. I will do it this year. I hope also to help my brother and My Mom to get better homes here in Florida or at least buy the ones they are in.
If you decide to give us the extra hand it will probably be used to put gas in the car to get to the seminar coming up and to buy The most recent book (30 days to Real estate Cash) for both of us (me and my brother) and ... keep the electric and cable on so I can stay in contact with DG online... Thanks for all your inspiration .. Not only you Dean but also to all the DGers out there too .. A bleesed and Merry cristmas to all

Your Great Dean!

Hej Dean & Graziosi

Hej Dean & Graziosi team,

Happy hollidays, you are really making difference.God bless you.Dean frist time i saw you talking made me to remember Michael Jackson spirit ,som how there's connection between u 2.Great spirit.

Dean's Wonderfully Big Heart!!

Hi Dean, I haven't left a comment in a long time. Sorry about that. However, it doesn't mean that I am not completely uplifted and inspired by your weekly wisdom messages. Frankly, it's your genuine to the core spirit, which is evident to me and many others. Thank you for being you! My husband and I are really struggling financially right now. They keep raising our rent. I'm sure you know the place--- Nyack, NY( ROCKLAND COUNTY) We are barely making it every month. I'm not sure how. It has to be the Grace of God, solely. If you end up considering us for your exceedingly generous offer, I would like to do something in return for you(of course, free of charge). If you need someone to help you with anything in the Hudson Valley area, I am your assistant here. I have an almost photographic memory, I'm multi-lingual, and I'm a good organizer. It would be an honor and a privilege to help you. Ever since I bought your book, I have always thought it must be such a pleasure to work for someone like you!! I think what really made me feel this way is the way you come across on the blog videos--- so authentic and encouraging. Keep up your amazing work. You are reaching many, many people in a positive way. God bless you and yours.

Warmest Regards--- Dory

Keep it up, Dean

We can all help

willowme's picture

This year money has been tighter than most with my job and my husband's job being downsized. But we did a sock drive for a local homeless shelter and were able to collect 121 pairs of socks. When we dropped them off Christmas Eve and one of the workers stopped and cried when she saw them. It was a good lesson for us. Not only money can be gifted. We've also decided to help serve food a couple of times a month. We hope like you to be able to pay it forward in a bigger way. But each gift of any type causes a ripple that we may not be away of where it leads or who it affects.

God bless you Dean and all of the DG family.

Prayers and blessings,

Wendy and Russell

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Dean to you , your family
and to everyone else in the DG family !

Christmas is a time of beauty from the inside out.
It is a time when hearts
are filled with joy, and minds are filled with
caring thoughts much more than at any other time.
It’s that time of the year when the air is
filled with lively exuberance, when spirits
soar in joyous merriment, and families and
friends get together to share love and re-live
old traditions..

Thank you so much for sharing one more
of your amazing gifts.
Please let me assure you for my sincere gratitude
for your generous action.
You are such a beautiful soul with a huge heart
and so amazing in every possible way!
You’re always inspiring and shining the world.
You always find ways to help and support others,
to make people around you feel better,
to honor the contributions of those with whom
you work,to add a bit more joy to the lives
of friends, family and,strangers.
I learn so much from you
every single day and I am so grateful for you.
I try and practice what I read,
I sometimes succeed, unfortunately
not all the time.
I think it’s SO wonderful that you are in
the world!I can feel your heart.
Thank you for sharing your soul with us.
Thank you for your messages of encouragement
for all the humans.A word of encouragement
during a failure is worth more than an hour
of praise after success.
Thank you for making the world a better
place by spreading the positive love vibrations.
You are a true gift!
The world is a better place with people
like you in it.
May God Bless you in all youe endevors.
