I love the response to the PM about your spelling! My spelling is great, I have a fairly good command of the English language, I can punctuate with the best of them- and I just might be the most broke 58 year old in America! Care to trade places? LOL! Thanks so much for the laugh, and the extremely generous offer to us all, and have a very Merry Christmas.

I have been perusing this site for two years now, yet to make a single deal. I would imagine if I was anywhere but Omaha, I would have had success. But, the housing market here is doing really well, people are still keeping their houses, and the ones that are selling are commanding appraised-as or more than prices. And the houses that are priced to anywhere near what would be considered a deal, are in the ghetto.
Recently, I realized that I would not be able to pay my rent at my apartment. I was forced to force my girlfriend and our little girl out to go live with her distant cousin. Because of all this, her cousin is not letting me see her or my little girl. I moved all my stuff into a storage shed. I am now living out of my van, and crashing on a couch. I have a full-time job as an auto mechanic.
I am not married to living here in Omaha. In fact, I love the KC area, have been there numerous times. I would be willing to relocate, just to finally be some form of successful, and get my family back. Christmas has been really difficult for me this year.
Why should you pick me? Because I can create legal airtight forms off my cuff, which I'm sure will serve some purpose. I know REI backwards and forwards. I have never had enough money for an EM, or let alone for one of Dean's books, so everything I have learned I have learned from the forums on DG.com, or my other travels on the Internet. I am extremely computer litterate, and can find what I need online in a half-hour or less.
I can come up for an inverview or something of that nature personally this weekend. I am off work for Monday. I got some gas to throw in my van.

I'm in the process of building my Power Team.Everyday I talk to somebody new about there house, or anything about the Real estate business form buyers to sellers. I do wish you all the best Holiday Season also, and everybody else on here also. Remember you can do this with someone else, or You can stand up and do it for youself and get it done. I prefer to stand up for my self and get it done, Mistakes sure I'll make them,will I learn from them, yes you bet I will, fall down sure we all do, but I always get back up, because I know the next Day I'm one day closer to the Deal, always be marketing your business,always be networking with like people, always be making offers, and You'll always be making money. Wow. This is an impressive offer and I would like to throw myself out there to learn from you. However, until I make a few closings there is no way I could make it to you to learn. I am not deterred by this though. I have learned a lot and I have confidence in myself and my abilities. I have spent two months reading BARM, profit from real estate right now, and a number of other books from hiring contractors to roofing, foundation and everything between so I can see things most are unable. I am glad I did this because I was already able to apply much of this stuff in my own house so I can live more comfortably.

My goal is to help my family starting with both my Grandfathers one to get out of a bad debt he got himself into co-signing for my aunt that ruined his perfect credit and took him for a ride. My other Grandfather (bit more pressing) is in search of a house to live in closer to family that he can afford until his time comes and he can join my Grandmother(my Grandmother just passed in November they where together for over 30 years). I then want to aid my mother who has multiple scroces and is pushing her 20 year mark, most don't make it this far. I want to help her reach her dream she has told me about since I can remember. She always dreamed of having a house that she couldn't be kicked out of that she could make the choices of what to do with it and could just feel safe. There is a lot of back story with men who have abused her and taught me as a man what NOT to do. I would have rather it been the other way around, but sadly my father was one of these men.

I have been the only person in my family to make it to college and I had no idea what I wanted to do while there. There was nothing that caught me and pulled at me like real estate has. I finished my last semester this year after one fateful day looking in the local library and finding deans book after seeing his face on the internet a few times. I decided to read it and since I have bought the two books I said above and reviewed many others because this is calling and I just didn't know what it was. Looking back I can see how all the pieces of my life have prepared me for this. I am ready and I will make it. I don't want anyone to see this post as a sad sob story. My mother and both of my Grandparents are strong driven people life hasn't always given them a good hand, but they have always strived to right.

I wont beg, belittle, or make my life out to be what it isn't. Everything I've endured and seen has made me who I am whether it was from good or bad choices. I have integrity, I am honest, humble, and proud of how I have developed in my short 26 years. I have learned a great deal and I will reach my goals. I know everyone here that posts can make it with or without these very kind peoples assistance. If they believe they can and truly strive and embrace their struggles, give themselves permission to fail, and take action even in the presence of the unknown and fears that are known. I just wanted to say to everyone thank you for all the posts and pms both positive and negative! I am very impressed by several and love the desire and enthusiasm! I know the holidays are busy for all so we will leave this post for a while longer into the New Year. To avoid any confusion please know for this opportunity you do need to be in the Kansas City Mo area and/ or able to relocate as some have offered. For everyone else we hope to find ways to work with you too to be sure but this internship for both knowledge and financial reward requires local, on the ground hands on commitment. I'll gladly intern with you and your partner in Kansas City. I'll work remote (phone and internet), I'll relocate to Kansas City if necessary (I just need a safe place to stay and a little food and water), I've got to win, period, so I'm willing to do what it takes.

I am very passionate about real estate and have a strong desire to live and do business in the Kansas City area (My daughter lives there with her mother). I spent time there earlier this fall attempting to get things rolling on my own. It got a lil cold sleeping in my car and money ran low so I'm currently spending time with family in Des Moines (Iowa) during the holidays. I'm very dedicated to being a successful real estate investor, no matter what.

I've read Dean's books (Be a real estate millionaire and Profit from real estate right now) and carry them with me everywhere in my backpack, smartphone, and laptop for easy access. I'm very professional and well acquainted with speaking/communicating with people either in person, via telephone, or email. From an experience standpoint I've been a successful project manager and business analyst at large companies where they counted on me to "Git-r-done", which I did. I'm coachable, ready, willing, and able to learn. Simply put, I'm hungry. I've just got to get it. I'm a Winner, and will find a way to Win, for me, my family, and my community, one way or another, no matter what.

I desire the freedom, independence, and possibilities that being a successful real estate investor allows. There is so much I desire to do for those around me and real estate is a cornerstone in the foundation I've laid to deliver on that promise.

also can't spell at all? Just thought I'd put that out there for the haters. Spelling doesn't make a person intelligent. Just sayin'....

I would like to apply. What's the deadline? I've got family to attend to today.

My husband has declared I'm not 'allowed' to invest in real estate any more. But, you see, its in my blood and I can't NOT do real estate. Those are foreign words to me. While I'm doing some wholesaling now, CA is TOUGH, but my first successful assignment went through this month.

I've branched out to several other states, but I want to be mentored by the best. Even though I've accomplished a lot, no one can ever know everything, be everything or have all the answers; and no one can stop me from pressing forward. I'm still making it happen here in CA; slowly though, but I need to take it to the next level and want to make 2012 incredible; and would love to partner/mentor with 2 of the best!

I've made some mistakes, and am all the wiser for making them. Failure is the first step to success. I'm a success academy graduate and got my refund; attended the Edge this past year, and have all of Dean's materials.

Haven't been on the site for a few weeks. What a great gift to give someone.
Would I like to be that person, without a doubt. Seems like I get some good deals and something always happens to make it not work the way it should.
I had several people from Wis send me a PM and ask to work with them and help them out. I always offer to do that, but everyone of them never actually has time.
The probate place that I put through as a short sale, had the end buyer with a $40k profit, well Bank Of America spun that around and so did the probate atty, telling the daughters at the last minute to not do the short sale. The agent must respect the attys wishes, and so now we have to wait another 30 days then can try again through foreclosure instead or as BOA said, wait till auction.
I actually just contacted someone to start bird dogging for me, and she is really computer savvy and even helped me now set up a web site, and we just met to get that in motion. I also did find another person not far from me. I gave her Deans Edge from 2010 to view and she is already on a roll to do something.
I also have family in Lenexa near Kansas City and she has started looking for me. I did contact a FSBO in Lenexa and will be talking to the owner this week.
So I would love to get that extra push of support and learning to get things going.
There is a property within a mile of me, that they wanted over $90k for, think of offering $5k for it now, but needs about $35 in work. It went for auction and didn't sell, been going through things for about 2yrs now.
If you consider me, would me giving my all to it. If someone else gets it, then I would be glad to bird dog for you.

Have learned a lot from deals I work on, from Deans site and the REI club, and now joined a WINGS group, of just women in our area that meet once a month to help on deals. Your offer would help make it get strong enough that I too could do more to help those who send me a PM asking for help.

Most people's primary goal is to make a boat load of money in real estate. They want the fancy cars, houses, clothes, jewelry, and other tangible items. Then there are some that want to supplement their income and add more value to their portfolios. There are some people who'd like to not have to live paycheck to paycheck anymore; and lastly there are some who would just like to have income period. All of those goals and wants are beautiful, but as for me I just want to be in a better position to give back to those who have given to me and who do not have the opportunity to even apply for something like this.

This isn't just any opportunity, this is really the CHANCE OF A LIFETIME for someone like me. Where I've come from, and things that have happened to me in the past, do not bare weight in applying for this. "Sometimes adversity is what you need to face in order to become successful" -Zig Ziglar. The important factor is that I know where I want to go and that I have a clear understanding that dwelling on the past can only hold me back and I'm ready to take action. I realize how important having a mentor can be to the mentee as well as the mentor. I'm certain it's very gratifying as a mentor to assist someone in helping them reach their dreams and goals. So I ask that I be the person you assist.

Real estate has been a desire of mine since I was 16. I was the weird kid who wanted to research tax liens on properties instead of partying all the time, although I left room for a little fun lol. But when you grow up without someone of a mindset of a "Rich Dad" rather than a "Poor Dad" you're bound to go down the same road, the rat race. I"ve been in that race since I graduated knowing it wasn't for me, but not knowing how to get out. After losing it all I have no choice but to take action. So many think it will "JUST HAPPEN" for them and that's not the case. You can have a mentor and someone by your side but if YOU don't do anything to change, then things and life won't change for you. So why should you pick me?

Because as I said before this is the CHANCE OF A LIFETIME. I know this business isn't a game. It's about building relationships, hard work, personal development, and recognizing opportunity. But most of all it's about helping others and paying it forward. "If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want." - Zig Ziglar.( As you can tell I love his quotes and he's a major inspirations. I've dreamed it and I'm ready to achieve it. I could go on and on about how bad I want this. But I'll end with this. Give me this opportunity and I'll show you that you gave not the best gift this Christmas but you opened the door to the chance of a lifetime for me.

I would love to work with you three! I am guessing that you are looking for someone to work with in the Kansas City area. Wish I was there! As you know I am in the Central Mountains of Colorado and not succeeding at all (this is embarrassing to say to admit where I am, to the whole world, but it is reality) I of course have the knowledge, but have failed and failed and failed. I can whine about the why with every excuses in the book and they are all legitimate reasons, but still just excuses! Frankly that adttiude makes me mad. We all have problems in life and with RE. My failures have guided me to look towards other areas, not because I am giving up but because I am moving on. I am determined to make this work! Would love all the secrets, but more I would love to partner with a killer team like yourselves!

It isn't often that opportunities of this quality are offered in this world. And it is less often that they are noticed or acted upon. I think the type of people I would like to work with are those that don't just do the reading, don't just dream the dreams but step up and walk the walk. They are also never so 'big' as to think they don't need help or to work with others who have had success. The people I want to work with and the person I want to be is one that also reaches out and lends a hand up (not a hand out) So with that in mind I would like to respectfully submit my interest in working with your team.

We are located on the west coast, in Southern California. We've found that location isn't necessary to working in real estate in other states or countries for that matter. (Deals done in other states than our own) My husband, Russell, and I are an incredible team. We both bring different but complimentary strengths. Russell can talk to anyone about anything and brings us contacts and relationships from bird dogs to buyers with $500mil. He is McGuiver personified. I am the computer geek and office administrator when it comes to software and documents. I am the internet search queen and number cruncher. I'm no wallflower myself. We've done a couple of deals using our own money and have a great prop locked up to wholesale. But we feel like we've had to walk over broken glass to get here. We may end up with tattered soles/souls but won't stop. Would we like a hand up? Absolutely. We would work so hard for you and the valuable information we would gain so that not only would we stop making the mistakes but grow and be able to share that information with others. We do share information with new investors. But how much more valuable would that information be if it was really tried and true?

I work for an accounting firm 3 days a week. Russell works for a home improvement store. We have access to bankers, financial advisors, title companies, contractors, sick of fixing it again - home owners, and so much more. Our buyers list is growing and the deals do come our way. We get frustrated and second guess ourselves at times. We just haven’t had the success to know if the direction we are going is the right one.

Yes please...Where is the path that leads to our destination? Yes please...Help us help you, ourselves, those people who need and deserve it and keep ourselves and our loved ones secure.

I'm curious if this is even possible for me. I'm a single mom with three kids, live in IN. I would need to move out there I'm guessing? I've been on this site for quite a few months but somehow I just am not 'getting' it. I'm enrolled in the success academy and I don't like it. Sorry, not being negative about Real Estate or Dean Graziosi in any way. On the contrary, I think this site and what he does is amazing. He's the most generous and giving person! With all that being said, I simply learn better by watching someone work rather than listening to videos and doing 'lessons' and I'm really struggling with this. Is Real Estate even something I can enjoy? Right now I'm not sure. Thoughts anyone?

Wow I think that is a first for me. I am pretty shocked if you are in Deans academy you wouldn't like it. I guess to each their own though. I question though how much effort you have put forth to learn this as you contradict yourself saying you don't learn by videos yet you want to learn by watching someone? Most people learn by visual, audio or kinesthetic. You don't seem to be learning by any of these by what you are saying. So either this really isn't something you can learn or haven't really tried to get into it. This isn't a get rich scheme there is no magic buttons or a few wonderful sweet words to say and have glittering money float from the sky. You get what back what you put into real estate. You don't just read Deans books, you read MANY books, everything about real estate from roofing to foundation and everything in-between.

You learn the methods of what Dean has taught in his books to invest in real estate, but you really have to invest in it and it isn't always money most of the time it is TIME! There is so much to learn most people don't have the ability to learn it all in a few months some take a year or two to get over their curve. Others make the time and push it. They get out there and fail a lot. You are learning to think like an entrepreneur and for most that is very difficult. I wish you the best of luck. It is something you can enjoy, but there isn't always instant satisfaction for some people. I myself got it when I learned some basic plumbing and fix some things around my house as well as being able to view a roof and understand the difference from a bad and a good one or one that is just wearing out or has ventilation issues or a number of other things. There is so much to it, it truly is like trying to eat an elephant. Take small bits.
