OK Guys here it is. Laura Johnson, Which I am sure you all know. And I are really busy in Kansas City. We are looking for a intern to work with. You will be working with Laura on a daily basic, and me when I am their. We will be sharing all of our secrets with you, holding nothing back. So now for the good part, Tell us why we should pick you. And for all the rest of you we will be contacting you for bird-dogging. We are really stepping up out deals the first of the year and we need some help. What better place to start then on here. Really wish we had the time to work with everyone , But as you all know this is impossible. OK Lets get to telling us why we should pick you.
Randy
If you are working with people all over the country, I'm definately interested. I'm in Southern California and have joined the success academy. I'm making offers, have buyers on my list and posting ads on Craigslist and other sites. I have finally gotten past fear (I don't call it my fear anymore) and am in control of the offer amounts my real estate agent presents to sellers. If I have someone holding my hand and walking with me step-by-step I can finally get that first deal. Your time will not be wasted with me.
Hi randy and Laura. I may not be in Kansas City But i will never give up.I know Calif is a long way from there but i am still here to do whatever you need and hope that you have some jobs in my area. Hope you guys had a great Christmas and that you will have A great and prosperous New Year in 2012
Steve

Hey everyone,
First, I want you to know that we are reading all the posts here, and appreciate everyones replies and comments. I want to try to make things more clear though, as it seems people are not reading everything.
We posted this opportunity with it being geared towards DG'ers in the Kansas City, Mo area. Randy and I have both communicated with many in the past, so we know you're out there!
While we are always interested in doing deals all over, this particular opportunity does require someone local. We are blessed to be busy enough that we simply dont have the time to manage all the hands on aspects of our business out in the field to satisfy our demand! As an intern, you will be working here in the KC market, narrowing target areas for different strategies, hunting deals, analyzing them, presenting them for offers, and networking with our team to name a few.
We will teach you all we know in finding the great deals, locking them up, deciding on exit strategies, structuring and making the deals happen, contract usage, etc. etc. You will learn all this as well as keys to the different approaches for flipping, renting, assigning, lease to own - so all your deals come out on top.
Your help will be of great assistance and benefit to us, and of course great benefit to you as you gain first hand knowledge and hands on experience and financial reward as deals you find are closed.
I hope this helps clarify things more. So come on you Kansas City DGers - let us hear from you!

Glad to see you made it back home.

I sold all my furniture and pick up truck when the last two horses passed on in their 30s'. After my dog died from cancer the following year, I planned to move to Wyoming or North Colorado. Had waited till my animals were no longer with me, as I knew they could never make the move that far.
But I am still in Wis staying with a friend.
Since I have family in Kansas City area, moving there would be a consideration, but to be honest, I hate their heat, dew points and severe storms. I am not sure but "might" be interested in a shorter time there, but not permanently.
But thanks for clarifying what you are looking for. The opportunity you offer is worth the move, since it would be life changing.
But still want to retire in the Rockies.
Guess I would have to really think about it.
thanks again for what you are offering.
Sandi
Now that both of you are back, read our post and jump on board...Jan and Jeremy

I've been trying to get it together. There are so many people I would like to help. I need someone to point me in the right direction. I've been following Deen's blog for over 6 months and I look forward to them every Monday morning. They keep giving me hope. I am old, but God's not finished with me yet.

Laura & Randy,
Pick me!! Pick me!!Pick me!! Okay... here is my reason,.. I am working hard on building my real estate career... I dont waste anyones time since I am a hard working single mom raising 5 children. I don't have a PHD, or a college degree..but I have something that money cannot buy..I have determination and a burning desire to succeed! I have the dicipline to give up what it takes to make it work.. This site is my homepage..I wake up to it everyday and get inspired.. Real Estate is my absolute passon, but because learning it alone, and working a full time job to care for my children so I can pay my bills, makes it very difficult for me to work alone.. I too, like to give back, so what I would achieve with you all if you pick me, I, too, would share the same spirit in giving back to others.
Thank you for your generosity!
Holly
The post keep getting better. I can hardly wait for Laura and I to pick the top three. Keep them coming and make it hard on us.

WOW... Go for it!
Yes I would be very interested to work with you. I am just getting started my self, been having problems finding cash investors (assigning contracts); just found a site that list investor who are interested in my area. So I have my real estate agent lined up and ready to go after the first of the year. I have my real estate lawyer & contacting my buyer leads to get my list made so I can hit the ground running in Jan. I want to make my first deal by the end of Jan, I turn 50 that month (the firth of the rest of my life). I know I am going to be really great at this & it seems to all be finally coming together. I have wanted to get into real estate for quite some time and I have always wanted my own business, now I have both. I'll tell you a little about Michigan, we have been hit hard here so there are lots of really good deals. I live on the west side in Holland, there are several close towns, lots of opportunity for selling as land contracts, just renting out the property or just selling below market values. I would love to learn what ever you have to teach,I read on here a lot to see how people are doing things & I keep reading Dean's book to learn what all I can. I really would like to be considered for this opportunity, hope to hear from you soon.
Have a good New Year

Well Randy Ill make it short but to the point, I have some deals going with my partner but we havent got to pay day yet. Its cold here in Michigan where I live at this time of year and Ieve been living out of my Truck for two years due to the lack of work in my Handyman Business, no ones spending. Iam an awesome go getter and Iam hungary for some fruitful completion of some deals and Iam running out of money and at my tender age of a young sixty two they think when I try for part time work or any work Iam over the hill well thats really funny because I can keep up with the best of them at any age, thanks Jim ( I love win-win deals for everyone involved)

WOW!!!! Almost missed this. Hadn't been on DG for a few days. I would be honored to be picked to work with you guys!!
You should pick me because I am the perfect candidate. I was born and raised in Wyandotte County, Kansas, but I live in Shawnee Kansas now, and i purchased my first property on September 28, 2011. Just so happens that the property was in Kansas City, Missouri. It was a very very good deal, and I couldn't let it pass. This isn't the first property I've owned in Missouri, but is the first property I've owned on my own in Missouri. I know the KCMO area very well, being that I've lived in Kansas my whole life. A few years ago I worked with an investor in Missouri, but he was a scam artist. The story is in my blog if you want more about it. During that time is where I really learned a lot about KCMO, because he only purchased properties in that area.
I am a great listener, and I know that Real Estate is how I will make my millions in life. I also am a member of the Success Academy, and have been since 7/28/11. I did fall off track for a while, but I'm back and READY FOR SUCCESS!!! Please pick me, and I promise you won't be let down. I can only imagine how much easier it is working with someone who you can actually see, and not only talk to once a week. 2012 will be my year for increase, and I pray that working with you two superstars will be just the beginning of the good things to come!!! SUCCESS, HERE I COME!!!

He has been a very hard worker and I never even realized he was homeless until about a week ago when he told me; he's very humble and positive. He relentlessly works at things and can keep up with the youngest of them. (Didn't know his age until I read his post here ) He is on top of things and keeps at it and doesn't give up. Don't overlook Jim; he'd be a terrific asset for you and would make a great addition to your team. Happy New Year!
I promise we will not overlook anybody, Thanks for the feedback.

I have to say that I have been praying for Jim and keeping in touch with him for over a year now. And I know he has been living out of his truck and have tried to come up with ideas for him. Even thought of when I find another farmette and asking him to move to Wis, so I can help give him a place to stay. If there is anyone who thinks they can help him in Michigan, that would be great.
He has had it hard and even if he doesn't get it, I am still trying to find out a way to help him. He doesn't get on the computer often as he has to go to a library to use it.
Just wanted to agree with Tammy.
