I am diligent and do my homework. I am a very organized person and see this as a valuable trait. I also live between you two in Little Rock, Arkansas. I pay attention to detail and after joining at the end of this year, I am ready to put the information into high gear. I have studied real estate, but feel as an intern with mentoring I can move forward with confidence. I came from a background where my parents never owned their own home, and I have worked my way into a better life, but would love to be able to run my own business someday. Real estate is my passion and am willing to do my best to make this dream come true.

Randy, you have to pick me to work with you and Laura. I have been out of work for over a year after finishing a tour in Iraq and then another three year active duty tour with the military. I was unable to go back to my job due to our re-location. I have been in the corporate world and have absolutely no desire to return to that world. Both of my parents owned their own sucessfull business and I too want to follow in their footsteps. I am 48 years old and prior to my military tour ending, my husband and I had a nice savings, IRA and the bills were manageable. Now, we also find ourselves helping my parents who are also struggling. My dad is now wheel chaired bound and requires 24 hour care. I need to be available for them in case of emergencies which a normal 9-5 JOB does not allow.

Now, we are down to our last dollar. My husband is currently working with the military in Washinton, DC which is 6 hours away from us so we will at least have some income coming in. This has put a strain on our marriage, but my husband continues to support me in real estate investing. We desire to make enough money so he can retire from the military and come home.

I am a member of the success academy and I am currently working everyday working on building a buyers list, putting out offers and bandit signs. My first deal is still in the making. I have had 18 properties under an option to purchase contract from the same seller for over 4 months now. Yesterday - I had a buyer and today - no buyer. Before I sent you this pm, I was about ready to throw in the towel, but I am not a quitter.

Over the years in the corporate world as a manager and in the military as an Officer, I have always strived to work hard and learn from the best. This is what I need to do with you and Laura. I am a hard worker, organzied and a very detailed oriented person. I have to make this work and now! I am available 24/7.

Just got a PM from this post. They said if I could spell it might mean something. Well if I could spell I wounder were I would be. Filed bankruptcy done over 150 deals and my net worth is 2.8 million. In the real world i will take on anyone with a education. lol.

IF you don't succeed with all the tools you have look in the mirror and figure out why. I had no ideal I would have got so many PM with a post like this. Just trying to help out. Believe it or not have been on both sides of that fence. I was put in remedial classes in school. The reason was that I had too much to worry about when I was young trying to survive that I didn't care about school. I was basically abandoned by my parents for all intents and purposes. Well I pulled myself up and realized that if I just buckled down I could make something of myself. I have gone to college and my son is now a professor. I learned to get the knowledge that I desired. I take pride in spelling, but understand that some cannot. It is good that you stick up for who you are. I had always felt inferior by those people around me that were much more educated, but now I feel equal, but I don't look down on those that have less education as I have been there myself. Way to stick up for yourself!

Why me well....I have been here on DG for just over two years now!

I am a success academy graduate, got the 5 deal refund, have a video of some of my deals posted on Dean's video site.

I have read all of Dean's books, met him at the EDGE 2010 (sorry couldn't make it this year).

The source of deals that I had locally dried up, but I am continuing to work different avenues until I find the one that works. In other words, I don't give up. I am determined to make this work, no matter what.

I have made a lot of changes this year, I have learned that the first project I need to accomplish is me. I am more organized, I have blocked time out for my business every week, but still allowing time for my family. I am always reading a books plus listening to CD when I am in my car. I write my goals down every day, as well as 5 things I am thankful for (today I will add that I am thankful for this opportunity).

I know this is my future and 2012 is my year!

Besides, Randy, Laura and Chris has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

I think it is so awesome that you and Laura and giving back. I am very interested and here is why:

I have been on this site since 2009 and trying to get things up and running. Years ago I was involved in the flipping business. Then, things took a trun for the bad, my husband was laid off from his job and I was the only working (supporting 3 children). Later he found a job and things good a tad bit better but we were still struggling. I've ordered all of Dean's books and followed them step by step. I have had some success in doing so, but not enough to substaniate my going into real estate full time. Currently I am employed as a Banker at one of the largest banks in the nation. My goal however, is to be able to go back to school and get my Master's or attend law school and work my REI business full-time. In the last few years I have done some deals, just not where I need to be. We are now expecting our first son (already have 3 girls)in March and I really need to get things going. I am very motivated and no matter what, will stop at nothing until I achieve my goals. I would also like to bring my hubby in the business ful-time. What you and Laura are offering would help me beyond measures and I would be forever grateful. I appreciate you taking the time to read and hope to hear good news.

Ps. I saw you mentioned that you are in Kansas. I am in Indiana, hope that will not interfere.

When I first saw this post and seeing just how great the opportunity would be AND knowing there are so many people on this site who claim to want an opportunity such as this,... I thought there would plenty of competition. I thought Randy and Laura would have to do some American Idol elimination process.

Well this has been up long enough and we see only a few serious applicants. I would LOVE this opportunity but I know many more are much more deserving and in much greater need. So,... where are they? I sent PM's to people in the KC area and around that have been complaining about not having any luck and just needing a hand up in real estate investing. Where are their posts? I'm sure you guys are getting plenty of PM's but, if the applicant isn't willing to do enough to put themselves all the way out there now, then they are sending you all you really need to know. They won't commit to it! Only the serious ones like Lori, Lenee, and Tammy are the one's willing to put their story out there, they are the ones who will commit!

When is the dead line anyway? Hoping that people are just not online due to the holiday. I would pay you both what I could just for the experience. If you offered this last year, my wife would have packed my bags for me and told me to "do whatever you have to do to learn from these guys!"

Where is that passion now? Only a small handful want to change their lives forever? Wow...

This is great what you both are doing. I would love to help and be a part of a team, such as you guys. I have been on this site since 2009, I love Real Estate Investing, I have done deals, but not where I want to be. I am available anytime, I have nothing that would hold me back. I would love to be a part of this.

Living in Wisconsin this time of year you have the incentive to change your life.
I've just started getting things together for working this business as I have some real estate investments and would like to learn from one of the best in the business. I've been work construction and I would like not doing the physical part of it as my body is telling me it's time. I'm willing to do anything that is asked of me to learn the right way to do this.
I know that whatever you give you get back and that's what I would do with what is given to me, I would like learn to be able to teach.
I've had some health issues and am digging my way back out of it and would like to pay off all the debts and have financial freedom.
