This week Dean has a unique message to share with us all.
His inspiration for the message didn't come from one of Dean's well known, wise friends.
Not from his involvement in the high dollar mastermind groups he takes part in to stay sharp.
Nope, this week the inspiration comes from a two year old.
It's good too!
Rock Star
This is awesome all the information from your books, website, and success academy is realy paying off. Just met my rock star realtor on friday and will be implementing the 25:1 formula this week. Success is just around the corner this is just the motivation I need to keep at it through all the failure and disappointment.
Thanks
Jermaine
Children and REI
While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." Author: Angela Schwindt. Thanks for another inspirational and wonderful blog Dean. I used to do the newsletter for our MOPS group and there were so many examples of our kids reminding us of perseverance. It seems the older we get, the more we forget how to think like a kid.
Now, as my 2 littlest daughters currently play dress up and change for the 22nd time converting themselves from themselves to princesses, to dancers, to fairies, and characters, I would like just 1/4th of their energy!
I don't know why this is
I don't know why this is still a bit nerving after a year of tampering w/ REI, but it is. I know if I keep the same approach things will never change. It bothers me when "friends" mockingly say "People making money on selling dreams..". So.. I'm gonna get my butt over to the court steps at least get one investors info. I am a kid in this game and I will figure this out.

That's an easy question
Dean,
Thank you for sharing your son and your wisdom with us. To answer your question as to why do we fall down. It is because we are not prepared yet to take that step and/or we are not afraid to try. The only way to advance in life and business is to prepare as best we can and then as Nike say's it "Just Do It". Even if it does not work the way you have planned it to you have learned something. We received your books the first of January and have followed all of your great advice. Two months later we have a great Realtor, Broker, a list of buyers and know how to find killer deals. We are working on making 11 offers this week alone.
Thanks again for all you do,
Jim and Janet
We learn all the time
We need people like you Dean with a little samples the if we fell down we can get up en do it ONE more time
BLOG
Your little boy is very cute. I have 5 grandchildren and one great grandson.
When you fall down get back up and learn from the mistakes you have made and continue on. Eventually the mistakes will get less and less but you always continue to learn.

This Is Why!
Great Topic Dean!
It's Only A Test!
The Holy scriptures declares that God takes us from "Faith to Faith and Glory to Glory".
We fail because it builds character if we pass the test. If we get to the top without character we won't stay at the top.
It's a Faith Walk! As we accept the challenges and past the test we build our Faith. A faith/character that fortifies us for the long hall remembering there will be challenges at every level of success.
It's a Journey a Process! The only way we fail is if we quit. If we never give up, we don't fail, we learn.
It's Only a Test that God may receive the Glory!
When that happens "ALL" is fullfilled in our Personal and Spiritual Live's and the people that we are supposed to bless will benefit from us being Faithful and Obedient to the "Call" the "Dream".
You see, it's not about us! It's about the Gift, the Dream in us. Gift's are made to be given away that other's may benefit.
"Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God, "God's Way of Doing Things", and all these things will be added unto us. We give the Gift, we get the Things!
It's Only a Test!
WE WIN!

#119 Lessons from a Toddler
Dean, perseverance is the key. I remember falling off my bicycle years ago. Getting back up and making it happen. I remember both civilian, military and college mentors telling me about lifelong learning. Boy has that come true. Roberta and I are looking forward to getting going. Thank you for what you do.

Thanks for the reminder!
We don't succeed all the time or even most of the time. But if we don't keep trying we will never succeed. We need to keep trying all the time to get the results we want. I never gained anyting without trying and it was not always easy or fast.
Thanks Dean.

Failure vs. Success
Thanks Dean for your weekly blogs. They are so encouraging. This week reminds me of a number of successful people who were successful only after several failures. We tend to get so discouraged when we fail, but in reality failure is just a stepping stone to success. If we never try anything, we will never succeed. Very few people are great successes after only one endeavor.

Dean. You are THE BEST. What an appropriate and timely Blog. Nineteen(19)just so happen to be my favorite number. Well done Brody
Dean,
Isn't it amazing what kids can teach us. They are fearless, balls of energy. They are focused when it comes to what they want and don't want to hear they can't have something because.... whatever the line you feed them. It's because.. but daddy, if YOU do this and that then I can have this or that.
We are sometimes so set on doing something one way, that we forget there are alternatives that we help us reach our goals and desires--perhaps, more quickly and efficiently.
Good going Brody. You taught your Dad and us another valuable lesson--get back up, brush yourself off, and JUST GO FOR IT!!!!!
Moving Slow
Its true I am moving slow but I just can't quit, real estate is going to be my big break I just know...I see it I feel it Iknow I can achieve it
Thanks Dean, I'll just keep getting back up on my bike.
Dean,
Why do we fall down? Because we are determined to face the fear of failure at all costs to make an attempt at success. Yet, in the end, we somehow know that determination and perserverance will eventually rule and trump fear; as we learn along the way from the process of "falling down".
I can remember EVERY mishap I had on a bike when I was a kid as if it were yesterday...most of them involving my brother and I. I still carry some of the scars to this day, but I sure learned how to ride!
Kids really seem to put things in a much simpler perspective, don't they? Sometimes, if we only paid attention, we could learn an awful lot from them.
Thanks for another great blog, Dean. Another simple, but truly enlightening message, once again!
John
Thanks Again Blog #119
Dean you are very inspirational by the way your son is so cute. Ok so what I was trying to say you are right Kids have that child like faith they believe in the impossible. They fall and they get back up and try again. So much the more it reminds me of a bible saying when Jesus says don't forbid the children to come except ye have child like faith you cannot see the kingdom of Heaven. So yes It is that faith to keep trying and not give up even if we fall we try again until we succeed.
Thanks again for the reminder,
Tyeisha
great message
Ithink that is a great message we all should act on it .own my way to a seminar in rockford because you invited me. Have a great day.
Don't Stop
I was reminded of this Fleetwood Mac song when I saw your video. I need to play it every day! : ) Thanks for the reminder that I WILL get there eventually if I don't QUIT! I needed that today! Thanks, Brody and Dean! I am looking forward to the EDGE and Private Money. I hope Atlanta is going to be one of your first cities to do deals in. I am ready!
WHY DO WE FALL DOWN
HI DEAN,
THE REASON WE FALL DOWW, IS FOR US TO GET BACK UP AGAIN...I STARTED MY REAL ESTATE INVESTING SERIOUSLY ON NOVEMBER 2010 AFTER BEING WITH MATT FOR THREE DAYS... I DID MY FIRST DEAL IN 29 DAYS AND HAVEN'T DONE ONE SINCE THAN... BUT THEIR IS NO SIGN OF ME GIVING UP, AS A MATTER OF FACT IM PUSHING HARDER... I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY FAILURES SINCE MY FIRST DEAL, AND I SEE IT ALL AS A LEARNING EXPIRIENCE. I FINALLY FOUND THE ABSOLUTE BEST REALTOR AFTER FAILING WITH THREE OTHER REALTORS. I FOUND GREAT CASH BUYERS AND BANKS THAT WILL FINANCE... IT'S ALL A NUMBER GAME, THE MORE NO YOU GET JUST GETS YOU CLOSER TO THAT YES YOU BEEN WAITING FOR DON'T GIVE UP, JUST CONTINUE TO PUSH FORWARD, IT DOES GET EASIER
God bless
Thank you Dean.
You son looks great.
I thought about what you said.
Thank you.
Now what do I have to do to get back on board with my SFL. system.
Thanks again.

Life is like Riding a Bike.
Good day Dean and thank you for sharing that story about your son, this is actually the first time that I am writing on any of your blogs. I am grateful and appreciative of all the hard work that you put into making people successful--I did not realize that until now. I bought your books about 7 months ago and did not start reading them until about 3 weeks ago,my entire sprite was lifted--Thank You! ( I had to first get that out of the way)
The question " Why do we fall down", is such a simple yet powerful one. I will attempt, given my life experiences ( I am 26) to answer that question to the best of my knowledge. Falling down is a natural occurrence of life--if you have never fallen then it is quite safe to say that you have never lived. Like your son Dean, I am sure he is very determined ( in spite of the many times he has eaten dirt) to hop back onto that bike and find his balance so that he can enjoy the thrill of riding it.
In life, falling down is somewhat correlated to growth: we fall down when we have chartered into new territories, new levels of our lives, and because we don't know how to balance it or manage it well at that time we fall. The problem however, is that when many adults fall they don't remember how to get back up, they loose sight of the reason why they started a journey in the first place, and tend to focus only on how the dirt taste--they have lost connection to the child within them.
We often think that children only learn from us, when in fact we have a lot to relearn from them if only we can open our eyes more and realize it--I think your eyes are wide open Dean.So what I am truly saying is that we must not fear falling but rather we must embrace it, know and understand that its a natural progression of life--you have to first creep before you can walk, and you have to first walk before you can run, its nature's law. Falling is not failing, rather it is growth, so don't be afraid when you fall you are just that much closer to victory.
Best
Jamaul
Thank's Dean
I seem to be falling off alot but I am still getting back on and I will secure my first deal and the rest will be history.

Why do we fall down--mmmmm
The first act of falling is to be standing, then we fall because we lack the experience to ride lifes waves when trying new things, the key of course is to get back up! and master wave riding, one wave at a time
May you and Brody have a blessed day
Nathan
Never Give Up
Thanks for another great blog Dean! and for sharing your cute son with us.
My wife & I were just talking about our oldest son (who turns 18 tomorrow). We remember when he was about your son's age, he would sit in his "Cozy Coupe" in the living room with his Cheerios and watch Thomas the Tank Engine. Ahhhhh what wonderful times!
I am never giving up! I will be successful in real estate!
