Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #119 - Success Lessons from… A Toddler?

Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog This week Dean has a unique message to share with us all.

His inspiration for the message didn't come from one of Dean's well known, wise friends.

Not from his involvement in the high dollar mastermind groups he takes part in to stay sharp.

Nope, this week the inspiration comes from a two year old.

It's good too!

Dean that was a great message and your son Brody is very cute. I hope everyone gets the same take on your message that I did and realizes they don't have to keep beating themselves up because they haven't made that first deal it will come if they keep trying.

Another great and inspirational message as always, Thanks
Jim

Thanks Dean

So true, if at first you don't succeed try to find that niche but don't give up! It will happen! Life was so simple as a child no cares, no worries...somehow life gets in the way and we over think everything...keep it simple.

I needed to hear this

It's alot like the quote we hear ~ "If you don't at first succeed, Try Try, Try again."

Thank you Dean

Live has beaten me up along the way and still is but...I refuse to give up! I take one day at a time.

I always find myself coming back to your website, thanks so much for all that you do...all your advise...and having such a caring heart, it shows through that you really care and want all us to be successful.

Dare to dream....A dream is just a dream without taking action!

Happy Sunday- Thank you for another great blog.

It is so true, when you fall down always get back up. But what is great about that, you have learned from that fall and you will know better for next time. Remember it is a new step in your adventure and you will be able to master it time and time again.

Never let anyone or anything get in the way of your dreams.

Keep on reaching for the stars.
Carpe Diem :0)

How do you do it? Thank you

I just got done with watching all your Vlogs and doing the exercises on them, wow. I have to tell you that it amazes me how well you can connect with people that are still challenged by real estate like myself, when you are now at a different level of action and success. It definitely is an amazing trait that you have and what makes you such a great educator and motivator. Thank you. It took me about 5 days to watch your videos and do the free exercises on them so it seems like only 5 days ago when Brody was just a tiny baby. Wow, how time flies lol.

Hey Dean

so true !! there is no doubt we will fall off the bike and with yoour help and non stop PUSHING we will get right back on the real estate train and keep going at it.i know i am following in brody's footsteps and getting on anything that tries to buck me off because what i have learned from you thus far is that NOTHING is standing in my way to financial freedom !!! thanks dean for yet another great blog.
jay

Thanks Dean

Great message! It's so true - If people spent as much time taking action as they did spending time trying to prevent problems, think of what "they did wrong," save pennies, and minimize the uncertainties in life -- their lives would be totally different. Anybody who has experienced any amount of success can attest to it! There is so much power in simply 'letting go' and taking action. Scary, but only for a moment. Just like falling off your bike the first time. Thanks for bringing such a good message to us all.

-Brandon

Ohhhhhhh ! Brody is so cute.

He looks just like you too. You have a mini Dean. Children can bring us to reality in so many ways. I know 2011 is going to be my year to make it with investing and I am involved with it every day in some way or another. As I look around my local area things are not looking good in a lot of ways. People are struggling more and it feels to me that we are on more shaky ground than ever when it comes to the economic climate. I sure hope my gut feelings are wrong. In any event I will keep my mind positive and stay the course. When I am making it happen I should and will be helping others in whatever way I can. Gas is 3.89 a gal for reg unleaded and i just filled up at costco 3.77 a gal. just fyi Thanks ever so much Dean and I have been reading all your e-mails. Grateful always for your time and effort.

Great Message

Thanks Dean as always, was that Matt lurking in your bushes behind you. Smiling TEE HEE
What I have learned is more will go wrong in this business than will go right but when it goes right it is golden:)Smiling and that my friend is what gets me up every morning.
Donna

No - it looked like a reflection of mama taking Brody in

It appears that she opened the door and took him in but I am not able to make out what the glass door was reflecting off of in the back of the yard. So I do not think it was Matt. There is no movement in the background until the cut to let Brody go. I listened again while I investigated. Now I think that as we grow older we acquire something called apprehension. I am gonna go back to the Totally Fulfilled book in my spare time cause there is a lot of psychology involved and the book is great at putting things in perspective.

Great Message!

Great Message! Sometimes we as adults try to over complicate things and as you indicated to have that child like faith/enthusiasm to keep at until we get. Keep it simple and persevere!

Kids - We think we are teaching them, but really we should be learning from them! Some have fear, some have no fear....but they do it anyway.

We never get 100% of what we never pursue!

Thanks Dean for another great message!

Thank You Dean

Hmmm now where have I learned that.
Dean, great echo of the truth. Brody is a doll. I'm so happy you take time to be Daddy. It's the best role ever!

Well the bicycle is not my story

Never learned to ride and I am too old now. However, I do encounter challenges from time to time, but I never allow them to deter my intentions. They may slow me down, but my aim is always the finish line. Thanks Dean for all your support and encouragement on a daily basis.

Thanks Dean... ahem, I mean thanks Brody! Leave it to a kid to show us the kind of stuff we need to be successful. It's just not in their nature to think they can't do something! Love it. This should be my most successful month ever in real estate investing. Have a great week.

Children do have a way of teaching us with their determination and perseverance. GREAT VIDEO! Brody's face said it all Smiling

Great!

Thanks Dean for another wonderful blog. I look forward to them every week.

So True!

Children don't get discouraged when faced with a challenge - your words remind us to be like them and keep working at our own challenges until we can 'ride our bike'

Thank you for your encouragement!

Thanks for doing another weekly video blog for all of us. This week's lesson is so true and we often loose sight of how we viewed the world and opportunitites when we were young. Through the eyes of a child, we can get back that belief that anything is possible as long as we believe and persist. We can achieve anything we set our minds to. Thank you for another great lesson. We wish you continued success in all you do! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

Mighty1 Real Estate's picture

I wanted to quit real estate a few times, but then I thought of all the other things and systems I've tried in the last 20 years and I know this is the right business for my family and me. In recent days I've put my website together, my 800 number and craigslist ads and a few other things that the coaches have given me to do (from Dean's Success Academy). I know soon enough it will all pay off. Just like Matt Larson said, "what will people be saying about you in the next five years"? So like I always say, "never say die". I just keep fighting, even through sad days, depressing days and yes even days when I have doubt and think this isn't going to work. I just keep moving one foot in front of the other and I WON'T STOP!
Dean thanks for another weekly blog, thanks for giving back.

Soooo True

Taskmaster's picture

It was a few months ago that I had an interview with the success academy. I was suppose to start the academy, but the day before I was to sign up. My computer was stolen. Needless to say I was thrown for a loop all my information all the pics. Well I used someone elses computer to get on the DG site to keep up with the weekly blogs and comments. I Replaced the computer. Contacted the Success academy and enrolled. Ive been doing the lessons and doing the workbooks. Then when doing one of the lesson intros. A video pops up and your recapping your first deal. Which I had read from your book. Then I looked at the clock and it was Sunday night 2:00 am I thought your video might be on for the blog and it was. I have to say. Dean, you have made a system, that you as a person. Are personally committed to. Because I see it and feel it as a student of yours now. Which I am proud to be. As well a visitor on the DG site. Your goodness is reflected in your children. Brody seems awesome....... Thank You for your support, Salvatore

another great message Dean...

missgee64's picture

...whoops! I "meant" to thank Brody--such a cutie pie, he reminds me of my grandchildren. Another reminder for me to keep on keeping on no matter what. You know, the bike part of the message reminded me of how I learned to ride a bike--i rode a friend's bike down a hill that had a turnaround circle at the bottom (i lived on a "no outlet" street) and they neglected to tell me that the bike had no brakes!! OUCH! Needless to say that after I recovered with a skinned up knee, a busted lip, and skinned up hands (not to mention nearly having head injuries from flipping over the handlebars), I went on to continue riding a bike. So i will continue to come here for more inspiration and to celebrate the victories of my fellow DG family.

Because (for me)in the words of a popular song, "if at first you don't succeed, you can dust it off and try again..."--and try again (and again) i WILL do!!

Great message! And so very true! It's that first step that's the hardest (and scariest!). What a cutie pie! I'm sure he will be following in his Daddy's footsteps. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

Fear

PRYME Home Buyers's picture

Great Job Dean
I'm 24 yrs old and I didn't really pay attention in school so I wasn't corrupted with the idea the failure is unacceptable. But I older people around me that are struggling and really miserable with life but they are not willing to go out there and try something different because of their fear of failure. I look at your strategies and there are so many ways of making money without money and people are still scared of trying, even though they have nothing to loose. I think we all need to have a childs mentality of life where you try something you wanna do and you don't stop until you get it.

I hope people get educated and loose their fear.
