Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #147 - How Reality is Tied to Your Core Beliefs

Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog
You don’t always automatically identify what reality, fact or truth is. Your initial reaction to that statement might be “NONSENSE!”

But this week’s “Weekly Wisdom” reveals how accurate that statement is – AND what you can do to avoid letting false beliefs dictate and control your reality, success and happiness.

Core Beliefs

This is something that I am working on right now, and it has helped me to take the necessary steps. They are small: setting up a business email and Google Voice, getting a BlackBerry, etc. but I am getting there. No one in my family has ever had a business and I am the first one to head out. I am not saying anything to them, luckily I have enthusiastic friends that are encouraging me and they are the ones I go to if I get down or I feel (believe) I can't do this. However there was one thing my mother told me: that there is no such thing as can't. I wish she was here to tell me more. However the bugs are there, so with the real estate books I am reading personal power books and incorporating the "lessons". Thanks Dean, I need this type of lesson.

Lucky Brody!

Planted Behavior

Yes Dean I do agree with you. I watched growing up as my father treated my mother and his children. Saw how he was to be kicked out by mom. How the older brother and sister raised us because mom had to work all the time. How they started to treat us bad and when they left home I saw how they started the process all over. Each brother and sister.
I joined the military to get away and refuse to be like them. Every day is a struggle trying to get a team together and make my first deal. At home they would have convinced me to give up long ago, I cant escape the way I am.
I REFUSE TO THINK I'M STUCK
I WILL SUCCEED
I WILL MAKE THESE DEALS
that's what is written all over my place
since I live alone now there is no one out there to tell me I'm a failure

Thanks Dean for the inspiration

Great reminder Dean

I know these principles but find sometimes I get out of balance and don't follow them very well. Its all about attitude, tough times are going to happen. Do you look at them as a challenge or roadblock: Mountian or molehill.
I personally like the challenge, who wants life boring anyway! Looks like you have a little Jeff Gordon in the making! Glad your showing him what Daddy's day is like.

Enjoy him now, they grow up too fast!

Creating your reality

jcwp's picture

Loved the weekly wisdom this week!
It's easy to forget that we create our reality. Getting angry or reacting to things harshly hurts us more than the person or thing we are directing it at. Seriously, the person who takes our parking spot doesn't care if we're upset over it for two hours. This only drains our positive energy and makes us feel bad. Why bother? Being positive and feeling good is better, and the choice is ours!!
Have a GREAT week!!!

Dean,It's a great message and inspiring. However, I got something even deeper out of your comments and I'm glad to see you get it.
To coin a phase by this famous guy, "Think a little different." It's not just about making money, it's about what that money can do. What it should be doing is enabling you (Dean) to spend more time with your family. What's a million dollars worth if you've sacrificed your family time to get it? Is a pile of cash better than WATCHING your children grow up? Seeing your children grow up is not the same and watching them. Isn't it better to be there when they are growing up instead of just a figure that they call Dad? Time with family is fleeting at best. It's gone before you know it. Don't lose it, don't abuse it and most of all DON'T WASTE IT!!!

Till the next Weekly Wisdom...

loved it!!great stuff it is so true anything we decided to do in life first begins in the mind and if you dont believe in your self its possible offen times it wont become a reality to you, b/c in your mind it hasnt yet been birth. lets lose the false paradigm that was imprinted upon us by others and walk in your true patential
of who God created you to be. Believe me, their's a KING in you pray and let God help you unleash it.

That's exactly why we are doing certain things and shy away from others, our beliefs. We just always have to remind ourselves about that and analyze things, then everything is gonna become clear and doable.

Very cute son you have there, Dean.

See ya'll next week

Your right dean, part of the

agh615's picture

Your right dean, part of the reason why we are stuck is because of our limiting beliefs. That has got to change! We complain of why this isn't working or going our way and blame others or circumstances for our lack of accomplishment. Our focus needs to change. "We will lead this life and business with limitless beliefs".
We are blessed to have you in our lives, like a shepard to his flock. lol.
Thanks Dean

Thank You Dean, for showing us how to make the switch!

Valuni's picture

You are so right about how our Limiting Beliefs can stump our life and our destiny! But regardless of how we were programmed, it is up to us to make the switch and change those beliefs to Limitless Beliefs and create a totally different reality for us and for those we love!

I'm sure you are already teaching your little guy to reach for the sky!

thank you for teaching us as well!

Learning and progressing every day,
Valerie

Dean you really helped me realize why i was having so much trouble picking up the phone and making that call to a Real Estate Agent. I have used every excuse to put off making that first call and I had to force myself today to make that call and it really went well. It was a great feeling.I dont know what happened in my past that caused me to have such a paralyzing fear of making that call, but I finaly made a break through. I hope I wont take so long to conquer the next fear that raises its ugly head. Thanks again Dean.

truth and wisdom

reallindy's picture

Thanks Dean, I have noticed the same i me, some things that i was exposed to when i was kid. I have been changing my ways of thinking and my ways of action. I am reprograming my ways and actually having an empowered eye opening time doing it.

The cool thing that is happening is my grown kids are holding me to the change and we are all mowing forward and enjoying each other on a greater level than we have in the past.

Good Wisdom!

reality

Yes life is what you make it. I am just having a hard time making it.I adopted my three grandchildren raising them myself. I am up at 5:30 and in bed at 11 or 12 work from 8 to 5. doing side jobs too. The kids do sports and are doing good in school now. All I have to do now is make this happen. where am I going with this ? Im not sure.I just know I need to make a change so here I go.
You have a great looking boy I hope he takes your mind set. I think I met you once and I heard you say I'm going to retire when I am 30 you made enough to do so. Thats reality!

Overcoming what you can't control

This struck home and even though its not easy to de-program yourself. You really need to remember what the most important thing to focus on is bust through that wall and be the control in you life. Help other people and you will get what you want. Thanks Dean and thank you for having your son on the video. Such a handsome little guy. I know he gets good vibes from you and won't have to worry about this stuff. Thanks for every thing you do.

KIDS SAY THE DARNEST THINGS!

Hi Dean I got a kick just watching you with your son he didn't have to say a word the day when he looks back at this vedio will make him smile and be proud of his dad your wisdom is infectious. THANKS EDGAR

NOW I'M CONFUSED

well dean,
i'm trying to keep an open mind about this. i ordered your cds of the 2011 edge. i had a personal family issue, before receiving it, that pretty much wiped me out. so, i called to cancel and the lady said ok. i called back again after recieving the product, to check, and another lady said "the notes are here, but it wasn't cancelled. i'll make sure it is done". today i see you folks took the 197.00 on my card and bounced checks on my account. i know mistakes happen, but this a very costly mistake to affect my finances, so. i believe you do read some of these, so maybe you, or someone, can do something to remedy this "mistake". i will call in again this morning.

Reality for me is that I AM A REALIST! I am taught to not worry but "give it all I have" to get it done. My parents are commercial fishermen and that is a tough, but strengthening job, both spiritually mentally & physically.(It may have something to do with my dad's military and parent's childhood) We learned not to give up but to keep-on-keeping-on for it does pay-off. As for the looking for the right real estate agent, and so on, there is one or two that will work with/for me, I just need to 'keep-on-keeping-on' until it works out. On the other note, if I did not park my car quicker than the other guy, to me it means I better get the move-on or I'll miss it. Thank you.
Dean, you weekly wisdom does help put perspectives in our minds to keep us in the same path for success. It is greatly shown to me, your caring for others. By the way, your son is adorable and well-mannered.Good Job! God Bless!

Weekly Wisdom #147

Hi Dean,

We need to deprogram some of the things that have been programmed into our heads. I was never one to believe all these things. Some of them sounded too ridiculous for words. I know people with two or more degrees who cannot even find jobs and have to work at Loblaws as a cashier making minimum wage. That's why I hooked up with a few Network Marketing companies. Even if I did not make it big, I learned so much about so many things. Also, I did succeed in selling a number of things and things were good for a while. Not being prepared for a few pitfalls or setbacks caused things to get worse, but things are looking up day by day. I was finally able to order your books. I have talked to a few real estate agents. I have to call a few more. I intend to make it big in real estate so I know I will. It's just a matter of time. I am taking a few steps now. I will build momentum later and will really be OK. I am building my team now. When my team building is complete, I will really fly! You'll see. Thanks again for the encouraging words of wisdom. Give your son a big kiss for me. It impressed me how quiet Brody was during your Weekly Wisdom #147. You and your wife are doing a great job with him.

Reality

sandiboots's picture

We hear it quite often, that mindset is everything. I believe it was in the EDGE 2011 that someone said, don't just say you are an investor, but realize that you are an investor.
Your blog reinforces that.
We need to remember for those who are half on the fence and scared to do anything, to just do it! Make a call, to a bank, an agent or whoever, and like you taught us in the EDGE 2010, put them in the hot seat. Ask our questions to them, not the other way around, if it isn't to our satisfaction, hang up and call another one. Thanks again for the confidence boost! Been sticking with me now and has given me more courage to just do it!

You have been blessed with the gift of intuition Dean, plus you take action on it, and share it with all of your students. Thank you.
Your children are very lucky to have you as their Father!

Reality vs Belief

myshel's picture

Awesome topic Dean, how our reality from childhood can shape our beliefs today. I must stick with a can do attitude each and every day.
All things are possible if you just believe.

Core Beliefs

Hey Dean

Core Beliefs - Boy those can kill you, can't they? Have almost cleaned house of those but still have the major one "FEAR" lingering in the corners of some issues still, like, Fear of running out of time, That's the big one for me! However, I'm working on that one DAILY! Thanks for another great blog Dean and I'll talk to you soon.

Manny
