Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #80 - Ever Tried a Little Creative "DESTRUCTION"?

Many things in life seem to fly in the face of common sense.

At first glance, this might be one of them. can order really come out of chaos? Can we simultaneously create and destroy?

These are the types of questions that have puzzled great thinkers for centuries.

They are also the basis for this week's powerful real estate success principle.

Discover what it means to Dean, and for you!

Throw Away What Weighs You Down!

aerospaceman's picture

Many of us who carry the weight of self doubt, fear, and the weight of naysayers must throw that weight of or shoulders. We must also track our daily time and see where we are wasting valuable time. When we have this information we can prioritize the most important tasks and schedule time for schooling, reading, action items and free time not just for our family but for ourselves. Just like those books on the shelf of life we must destroy some books to make room for something we have never read. My first new books were the one's from Dean and a new one today was speaking to Brandon at the Success Academy. He was easy going, polite, and direct. I enjoyed the conversation and am ready to take the next step doing assignments. Thanks again Dean for such profound yet simple words anyone can follow.

Wonderful

you continue to inspire me every single week with your Blogs. Your greatly appreciated on dg.com, there's so many things that we may do over and over again that can be removed from our bookcase all its doing is wasting space. Thanks again and God Bless,

Dean, I love how every time you open your mouth or write some words, it makes me perk up and do something a little different. On the show G.I. Joe, at the end of the show he would say "Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!" You continue to make me aware of things that need to change for me to be and do better.

I was re-introduced to your books and this site in March. I've read all 3 of your books and started to take action in ways I used to believe were impossible for me. Now I'm looking at my bookshelf and deciding which books need to come off to make room for other more meaningful books and a great life.

Thank you, Dean! Keep it coming, dude!!!

Clean Up Time

Time to take a good hard look at everything around me and toss out time wasters, be it a thing or a person. Thanks Dean for your words and now I have to go take the action.

Living this subject right now

Russell and I are engaged to be married! So in order to create this new life we need to completely tear down our homes and the way we have been used to doing things. We don't regret what we are leaving behind. We only look forward to what we are building.

With so many projects to get done, our first in the new home is the office. LOL Yes we want to have a smooth transition for our real estate investment business. We were happy to tear down that blue wreck of a room and create this beautiful new space to support our dreams.

Dean,

...Thanks for doing another weekly video blog. Sometimes in life we go through the motions each day and weeks turn into months which turn into years as time continues to move by. The right use of time and the right people can make all the difference in the world. Looking forward to hearing more about the upcoming announcment. Good luck on all your future deals. Wishing you continued success in all you do. Believe and Achieve! ~ Joe

We Call It

Cleaning the cobwebs from the closet or leaving the junk behind. Despite the way we view it, it all boils down to the same thing. Looking forward to bigger and better things; keeping the positives and getting rid of the negatives. It means making and accepting change for a better way of life. Thanks Dean for keeping us on our "Ps and Qs".

Weekly Video Blog #80

Hi Dean,

Thanks for another great video blog. Dean, you’re so right about cleaning out the bookshelf to make room for newer, more pertinent things that will support our real estate investing businesses. I have so many books that, as I look at them, I realize that they’re from other times in my life that are long ago and far away and are never coming back. They have no place in my life now so off they go. I can see already how much that is going to help. Thanks for the tip.

It’s nice to be back on here with all you wonderful people again. I have been having so much computer trouble and it has had me alternately limping along or shut down completely. It has been such a big problem lately that when it did finally quit completely we had to get another computer. I don’t know much about computers but, thanks to my darling wife, Susan, she got it going and now it just needs to be fine tuned. Then, hopefully, we will be back and moving along at a faster pace.

I have a good feeling about this week and so I wish nothing but the best for each of you in all you do. I hope you will all remember to thank God each day for the opportunities he has given us. We are all so blessed to be receiving education, guidance and motivation from the best. God Bless You, Dean!

Creative Destruction

Dean, are you led by divine intervention? I listened to your blog about creative destruction and I had to put it on pause and walk away because my mouth was literally on the floor. I have already made a decision to gather all the moneys I have that will sustain me for a while and focus on real estate. Everything was going very well, but the job was constantly getting in the way with the long, long night hours (I was there from 11:55 p.m. to 8:25 a.m. and didn't get home until 10:30 in the morning, so exhausted I couldn't think straight never mind follow up on all the leads I had. It is not a nice place to work, besides, and very negative, so much so I didn't tell anyone about real estate. I've made up my mind and I feel so much better. There is no doubt in my mind, I will do well. I'll use the time I spent for someone else for myself.
Thanks, thanks, thanks.

The bookshelf...yeah, time

The bookshelf...yeah, time for a penny sale! Thanks for the reminder and for your encouragement. I am excited to hear about what is coming.

Thanks Dean

This is great advise. Applys in so many areas of life. Where Real estate is concerned, this is a great way to remember not to focus on just one deal and keep that mind activator looking for more.

Cripe, Dean and his metaphors. They're always so good and "DUH! why didn't I think of that?!" in your face.

How are the tomatos doing?

Thanks Dean

What you said makes so much sense. We need to take some things away sometimes in order to get what we want. That creative destruction is brilliant. Thank you again.

Jeremy

THANK S

Hi Dean, thank you so much for your weekly Blogs,
you are so right, we need to make room for so many other things, thank you again Adamina......

I'm tring to throw out all the old.

I try to keep a positive attitude and feel I understand most of what your books are saying but my money gets low and it has a way of making me or forcing me to slow down on taking action. I've made progress and will continue to. I may need a little extra help once I get my 1-800 number and my advertising in place. There are some things that bother me but I hope all the DG.members will help me through some of those fears I face. I want nothing more than to succeed. I could write a book on failures. I've been working my tail off lately so I can take that next step very soon. It's always good to here your messages. Keep them coming. Thanks for your time. Ralph McBee

I am back after almost a

I am back after almost a whole month without internet, and what is the first thing I hear from your blog but the most common sense that a lot of us have forgotten. We see them in nature surrounding us. We see them in things we do in society. We ourselves are walking examples of evolving change. The law of balance! This is wonderful advice, and this inspired me to do away with old ways of thinking that had hindered me and replaced them with outside of the box thinking that will propelled me toward being a problem solver for a successful life. Thank you for putting things into perspective.

Also by the way, I have set myself up to finish my Success Academy training by the end of May,2010. I did not but I have my first offer accepted on a foreclosed house and now in the process of getting a loan. This house will be for my friend's family who had just moved up here from loosing their home to foreclosure. So thank you so much for all your teaching, even though there are a lot more to learn, but what I have learned and applied have WORKED,plus the confidence to use them is priceless. Yes, your books give us strategies and confident!
And thank you to the Success Academy team!
Best,
coco

creative distruction

This is my creative distruction!!!! I have been with Deans system for a year now and you want to talk about distruction...I am in so much debt because of this dream of mine I had a mental breakdown a couple of weeks ago. The stress of trying so hard to make this work got the best of me,I am done listening to anyone that tells me I can do this. This is not for people who are not salesmen! I have been out there, put offers on houses, put up flyers, made tons of business cards, set up web page, told everybody I know I wanted to help them get a house of there own, logged thousands of hours on my computer and guess what nothing nothing nothing in return. I am a working Mom at the end of her rope because of the credit card dept this program put me in,I want my money back I want my life back. I had a excellent credit score when I started now its bad,I had no problems paying my bills now I struggle every month. I sent my son to live with his dad because I could not take care of his needs. My daughter is moving back in with me to help me keep my house. I know you are thinking it was all my doing but if I didnt see Deans face on tv and hear how anyone can do this, anyone can be a millionare, YOU CAN DO THIS! I would not be in distress now. I know you are going to delete this but I want you to know how I feel and maybe you can call me with one of your pep talks but it wont work anymore, I'm done it's just not possiable in this area to do this and be sane at the same time.

Time

Time what a precious commodity. Thanks Dean for opening my eyes to what it is that I've been doing wrong. I had forgotten the most preciou thing in life is time. We are all allowed only so much of it, and how we use it is up to us. Thanks for another great blog, the bookcase analogy was perfect.
