OfflineHello to our DG family. I know many of you out there always keep tabs on what Jeremy and I have been doing in the REI world and we do appreciate it very, very much. But I have some sad news to post.
Early this morning Jeremy's mom passed away after a brief illness.
Many of you have watched our progress and have sent tons of encouraging notes to our posts.
I am now asking all of you to send a short message of support and love to Jeremy as he goes through this difficult time. I know he would really appreciate it, because he thinks of all of you as family.

Not Just A Mom
My mom isn't just a mom at all
She's also something else
My mom isn't so quiet or shy
But she's proud and doesn't care what others say about her
My mom is like a friend who I will never forget

Whether I'm sad, happy, lonely, or angry
She's always there, ready to listen
My mom always give me advices to overcome any problems
She supports me in any way
My mom is like a genius to me
She may not be like genius of studies
But she's a genius of me
My mom knows what I think, what I will say, she knows everything about me
My mom knows what to do to make me calm down
My mom knows how to make me automatically happy
My mom knows what and how I feel
My mom knows what I need the most
My mom is like an angel God sent from Heaven
My mom is loud, weird, and crazy
But she understands me the most
My mom always help me to fix my mistakes
My mom always help me to reach my dreams
My mom always love me no matter what
My mom doesn't care if I am handicapped
My mom doesn't care if I'm missing a finger
She doesn't care
My mom loves me
the way I am
My mom is like someone who I can't give up on
My mom is like... a daughter of God.
My mom is there with you God giving the people their what she gave me.

Jeremy, I am sorry to hear you lost your mom, Anything I can do for you , you have my number and e-mail. Like I told you I went through the same thing
(my mom had pancreotic cancer) and near the end I have to say the passing was a blessing. The strain of watching a loved one fade away is one of the hardest things you will ever encounter. She is now pain free and looking down on you with a smile.

My deepest sympathy....There are no words to describe the unconditional love a mother brings to our lives. The loss is a heavy burden to have to carry. Draw comfort in knowing she was able to see what a wonderful son she raised with hope and joy and love for others. Most of all the love that you have discovered for yourself. Every mother wants to know their kid is headed in the right direction in life. That you gave them the right things in life to go forth, beyond our own wildest dream. Mom had to of been proud of you! I am. Know in your heart, God will give you the strength in your time of sorrow and need. Many, many times He has carried me. Even down this road. He can carry you also! No one knows your precious mom better than you do, so only you know how it really feels right now. A relationship between two people is a secret place that only those two people know each other well, just like your own mom knew you & like wise because she's your only mom. It's not easy at all losing a loved one, just know that you have an extended family here on the DG site & our support goes out to you 100% May you continue to build courage in everything that you do. Everything that you have accomplished thus far & what you are yet to accomplish in your life.
