All of the encouragement from everyone on this post is exactly what I am talking about. Every time I felt giving up through the year you kept me going, every time I got discouraged you encouraged me. Besides his awesome training, This is the very thing that sets Dean above every one else. The Forum!! He did not leave us with just a book or a program. He provided a place where new readers (and old) could go for encouragement, guidance and support.

I am also blown away with the support that comes from others on here. I just got the books in the mail and as i type this i am on page 177 of Profit From Real Estate Right Now. I can't wait to get my first deal out of the way so I can make it real for me also. And to be on here able to write about my 8th and 9th deal...can't wait.

the reason i came here in the first place was because i was reading about you on page 169 and wanted to see if you were still here doing more deals. Glad that i was able to find you and excited to see you were still doing deals. Thanks for being such an inspiration and keep up the great work!

I got Dean's books last summer and amidst a move from MA to NC and struggling through a painful bankruptcy in the fall have begun my own REI journey. I too want to be able to provide more for my kids than what the paycheck-to-paycheck afforded us. I've read your journal and have followed your increasing success. I feel like I'm on the edge of my own first deal and can't wait to join you and so many others in "The Real Deal" club (that's my name for it-LOL).

I am energized and excited about what lies just around the corner in 2010 and beyond. Thanks for including (and inspiring us) with your own story : )

hi Carol, congrats on all of your deals!!! I'm very happy for you!!! You are definately a very positive example for all of us. Not to sound redundant but I was just curious on these assignments, were they reo's of fsbo's? if reo's I was wondering if you could please briefly explain the route you went to assign them. ie: contingencies in the contract, sold thru llc etc. i know there is info on other posts on this incredible site but was just wanting to know how it was done on successful deals.Thank you so much for all of your other help and advice in the past on here, it is worth millions (literally). sincerely, chris, cb properties
