Real Estate Investing Weekly Wisdom #296 - This is Awesome!!!

First of all, it's about time this video got posted! After all these weeks and month and years with you, I can't go to bed Sunday night without watching your wisdom. I am 110% addicted. I have learned to embrace feeling what it will be like as I progress and succeed and it is what fuels me! So happy to hear Matt will be teaching us - and can't wait to see the videos. Yesterday is the training ground, tomorrow is a gift. There is only today. Soak it in.

(love it stienway btw) OK so how I will feel, I wrote them down Dean, will feel exhilirating, awesome, exciting, incredible, fantastic, happy, amazing etc. you get the point Dean I must say have had some downs I felt like a fool at the VIP talking too much because I was nervous, what can I say & I let life get in the way geeze.

Feel like a loser sometimes, & I know that is the evil self talk so listening to Tony Robbins etc & working on my next deal thx for all the encouragement.

All I can say is this: your enthusiasm is enthusing and inspiring Thank you for your genuine desire and eagerness to help.

Fantastic weekly blog !! I love learning how to trick my brain with exercises that train our thoughts like you suggest. It leads us to action and feelings of accomplishment even BEFORE we take action I hope EVERYONE uses this secret to propell them forward. I know it works for me 100% of the time. Wow we have access to 1000'$ of tools here. No excuse NOT TO SUCCEED !! Thanks Dean !!!!

I allowed myself to be mentally paralyzed due to fear and doubt for nearly all my life. Dean, I followed your advice about eating better, dieting and exercise each day several months ago and lost 35 pounds. My Boeing co-workers couldn't believe it, even though they watched it happen in front of them. From 243 lbs to 208 lbs in 2 months time, I felt so much better about myself my confidence was growing.

I followed your advice, even though I couldn't afford to attend Tony Robbins in Florida last year, started doing Tony Robbins Incantations "I am the voice" which is on Youtube for free. I also do another wealth incantation (Law of Attraction) every single day, morning and evening. I have completely reprogrammed myself and now I am a Lean Mean Money Making Machine.

Last month I put 3 properties under contract. The first one was for a Duplex (for $10,500), completely gutted but had Asbestos Shingles, one block from the college. I had to cancel my contract because I couldn't find a buyer in time to get an assignment fee. Seller, Dave Romano (Rhode Island) needed my help, I cleaned up the property and boarded up the home to prevent anyone from entering and the city inspector was pleased. Dave sent me $500 for all my time but the most important event for me was about to happen next. I helped out Seller (Dave Romano) with the Duplex and he then introduced me to my partner Natasha from Maryland. We are now kicking butt working out the issues along the way. I picked up Natasha from the airport and took her to the property, which was the only time we ever physically met. We talk every day and I send her images of the progress and inform her of any problems we run into. We both are learning and we are completely open to each other. She has entrusted me with an American Express Business Card with my name and our LLC Name, and more recent a Lowe's Accounts Receivable Card.

2nd Deal came from the same lawyer who handled the closing on the Duplex (first deal). Lawyer had a home, A Single Family Home which caught fire, we paid $15K. assigned it to our LLC, which I have Power of Attorney I've been learning rapidly 100 times faster since I'm directly involved in the renovation. I am learning first hand, how to properly renovate a home from my next door neighbor (Full Time Contractor, Monday-Friday) and he works for us on the weekends. He is teaching everything you need to know about renovation since he works on $500,000 homes regularly.

Bandit signs in the front of the Duplex (1st Deal) generated the 3rd deal I put under contract for $22K a 40' X 90' we are looking at converting over to a 4 Plex. My job is to confirm the zoning with the county.

The Lawyers also let me in on some important info concerning 68 Condos in a 110 Condominium Complex. I had the chance to speak with all parties and it looks like we might get them all 68, so I will be putting together an investment package for the bank with all properties.

Here I am, living in a mobile home park, doing what you have told me to do, listening to Tony Robbins Incantations, Wealth Incantations, networking building relationships of trust, putting deals under contract and things are starting to fall into place. Natasha and I are going to write a book on the truth about home renovation, from contractors to finally turning the key to go inside. Karen Griffin my Mentor stopped by with one of her students to see what I had going on and she can see it happening too.

Dean, I want to personally thank you for always being there. To anyone who reads this, It will happen to you as soon as you imagine you have a rich uncle who will pay for all your deals. Once you imagine that rich uncle your confidence will sore. It's not a money issue, it's a confidence issue.

It happened when I made a 90 day commitment to work as if everything depended on me and pray as if everything depended upon God.

I just returned home from an amazing fishing vacation trip (we may have a new profile pic, Dean )on Sunday and tuned in last night to see the WW but didn't find it and wondered if I missed it. Glad to see I was just early for it
As for the message this week, I'm almost there. I have had enough failures in my past to really hinder my future but I trudge on. I am still trying to succeed in real estate just as I have succeeded in my other ventures. It's been a struggle for sure but I am not giving up or giving in until I get there! I already have the visualization of what that will be like. (I'm sure you can guess it will include a lot more fishing )

Can't wait for the email with your videos to judge and Matt's "new" secrets.

Hey Dean, I have been your student for a year and six months now, and nothing works still now. Sometimes I call the coaches but really they don't coach anything that you can achieve something from. I'm totally discourage about the whole thing, and sometimes think whether it's a scam. Disappointment, and lack of confidence in the whole really over come me. I read your 30 days to real estate cash, and applied the methods but still nothing works. I'm still interested in real estate, and will appreciate any help from anybody. I am really sorry you are having these troubles, I want you to know we started our real estate business January 2013. I quit my full time accountant job and now I am working full time for our business. Getting our first deal done was our hardest thing, but seriously after we got our first wholesale deal done it opened up. We are now on our second rehab and have done many many wholesale deals. It's not a scam, it's having the right mindset for starters. If you don't have the right mindset it will never work for you. You have some fear maybe that might be hindering you, but every single thing that is in that book works. I know all the top students personally and know their background and they did it and I quit my job, now my goal now is to get my husband retired from Corporate America by the end of this year. I have been watching your weekly wisdom videos since 2011 and always come away inspired to change things in my life. I've been on the road working since 2009 and need to make this work so I can get back home with my family. One of my biggest obstacles would be financing multiple properties. Recently one of my rentals burned down and had just enough insurance to pay off loan on that old farm house and that puts me back to 2 mortgages under my name. I understand anyone can have up to 4, so now I'm on the hunt again for multi-family properties. Would like to learn more about other methods of financing investment property.

Dean reminds me of the book OUTWITTING THE DEVIL by Napoleon Hill... ever since I started dealing with RE my life has changed for good... this site along with the DG IE Family has been my support when real Estate agent doubts me, or when I make an offer and is rejected... my entire circle of people have change in one year. I can notice the unity and love in my family compare to years ago. I fee real good when my 7 year old daughter brings to me a piece of paper with a telephone number, full address, she usually tells me " I found a for sale by owner, good luck"... how can I give up, is now or never guys... thank you DEAN & friends!
