Best advice I can give is this, you already have the best advice you can get!

Take that to heart because a lot of other gurus out there sell training for Thousands more than what deans books cost including shipping!!

The next best thing is to take action. You will only get more comfortable and confident by taking action. Every time right before you hit send when you are making a phone call pause and make the biggest and best smile you have ever had! Think about all of the nervous energy you are building when even thinking about making a phone call and turn that nervous energy into an abundance of confidence!

You can do this just like anyone else. I have a wife, 9 month old son, pets, Marine Corps Reserve, and work a full time job and only have 2 hours a day max to do Real Estate. You can find the time and it will be well spent.

You can do it! The first step is believing in yourself. Dean's books, programs and the DG website is everything you need to be your roadmap to success. The key is to be determined to do whatever it takes to get the first deal done. You may be studying early in the morning or late at night, but each day you do something to learn more about real estate will get you closer to your dreams.

Try to network with others in your area and learn from others as much as you can. With automation, such as looking up properties on-line, contacting realtors or even contacting FSBOs on Craigslist, you can get started right from home. Any time we start something new it can be scary, but if we want to make a difference in our lives we have to overcome that fear and uncertainty by taking action. I often enjoy listening and reading what Dean has to say. Dean is a wealth of information and inspiration. Dean often says if you know your "WHY" nothing else or no one else will matter or stop you from getting to where you want to be.

Real estate can change you life if you believe it will. It has changed our lives in a very short period of time. Yes, it can be scary but as you learn each day the fear is replaced by knowledge and confidence. You can do it! There are so many successful DG Members that did it with no money, no credit and no bank loans. Greg Murphy is a wonderful example as Dean has often called him "the No Money Down King". I am 42 and single parent as well. Although I'm not on welfare; I am on the list of those that are a paycheck away from broke.

You did the very best thing about getting the book. How did you end up with that book? is what I would ask yourself. It didn't just end up in your hands for no reason. And realize it will take work and there will be bumps in the road but know that that is temporary.

Don't wait another day to get started. I would recommend avoiding the naysayers (anyone and anything negative including the news). Dean's video blogs would be a great place to start as well. If you haven't yet sign up for this call on Thurs March 11.

I waited and waited because I let fear rule me. Kendale don't let that stop you. Do something everyday for real estate; it truly is the answer to being financially free and so much more. Many that are closest to you will be the ones to try to stop you or be negative just keep moving forward. You can do this. I have to tell myself that everyday.

I had someone tell me tonight "go get yourself a whitey's ice cream cone for all you've done this week". It's so nice to have that kind of encouragement. You can do this. It's a matter of DOING, taking action.

The worst scenario is you quit and/or do nothing but where will that get you. I don't have a deal yet but I've been putting in offers looking at houses, doing research, reading. Babysteps is key. Can't wait to here you're story.

The fear that you are feeling is good. Why? It will always keep you on your toes looking to do the right deal the best way possible. Heck, I have been on this site for almost 2 years now, just like Rina. There is not a deal that Jeremy and I get involved in where I don't get some degree of the jitters. It will happen.
Keep reading the book, stay on this site and read post after post. Ask questions by starting your own post and watch how many people will jump in and help.
Look to join a real estate investment club. Here you will network with investors just like yourself who are looking to do the same thing you are. From seasoned pro's to new investors all go to these meetings.

We were all scared. However, the first step is to realize your fears are nothing more than self-limited beliefs. You have already taken the first step toward success by purchasing Dean's book and reading it. Congratulate yourself. Take a deep breath and get ready for step number 2.

Engage and meet your new family. Create a login on Deans site (www.deangraziosi.com) and meet your extended family. Here you'll find members of all types, including myself. Rather weird if I do say so myself. Read the posts and get ready to expand your horizons. You'll soon learn that there is no limit to what you can and will accomplish. Put one foot in front of the other and step to step 3.

Close your eyes. I want you to eliminate all negative thoughts, all negative feelings, forget about all those negative aspects of your life. Focus on where you want to be say 3 to 5 years from now. Imagine accomplishing your wildest dreams. Imagine accomplishing what you once thought impossible. Your family in a better situation. Having and doing whatever you desire. Helping others help themselves. Whatever you so desire. Make a collage to constantly remind you of where you're headed. Place it where you will see it on a daily basis before you go to sleep and then again when you wake in the morning. Remind yourself that you are unstoppable and that you deserve whatever you so desire. Imagine yourself in the future surrounded by all your dreams and desires. You have arrived. You did it. Wrap your arms around yourself and congratulate yourself. You accomplished the once thought to be impossible. You conquered the demons that once held you back. You made it. You are the person you wanted to be. You are you, and loving it. remember this moment. Use it as a trigger to move from a state of unbelief to a state where your unstoppable, unedifying.

Now, set your sites on the next step in the plan. Realize that you have to accomplish small steps in order to reach the next plateau. Refer to deans material and develop short and long term goals based on where you are. Take action to reach your goals. Create a journal. when in doubt, post a questions to your new family. search the forums and other journals, books, and related material for the answer you seek. when you can afford, join the coaching program to obtain help so you can advance your new found career in lightening speed. You are on your way to success.

Perceive. Believe. Achieve.

It is recommended that you have in your possession, if you do not have already, all three books, "Be a Real Estate Millionaire," "Profit from Real Estate Right Now" and "Your Town, Your Real Estate Profits." I just wanted to say that everybody here is right. Although I haven't made my first deal yet, I know that it's coming soon. Just keep reading the website, use the search feature for any questions you have and try to do, read, or learn something everyday and you will make it happen!

Put your money on real estate. Its totally secure. or use a self directed IRA.

Do everything the books say. Don't be overwhelme but I know it is. Start with something you can afford. This website is a great source of info. I am still scare in making offers. Start with lease options, if you dont have money to invest liked me. Do a little every day.

Take the chance to make a better life for you and your family, what do you have to loose??
I can tell you that if you honestly put in 100% honest effort,you will succeed. Jeremy is correct that you should start out doing assignments for quick cash. read the books and posts from this site to find the answers to your questions on how to do things. then if you need further support post it.

Congrats on joing the academy! I have been doing it for about 2 weeks now. I am still scared! Scared I guess that I wont succeed. Scared that I wont make my first deal and not get my money refunded. I am just taking it day by day and going through the lessons. Make sure you print out the workbook for each section. It is easier to follow and to make notes for yourself. Keep perservering!!

I'm about where you are right now, except that I have all three books under my belt. Quick suggestion! This worked wonders for me. I believe I read that you're a single mom - I'm a single dad - that means "TIME" is the second most important thing in our lives after the kids and probably the most difficult thing to find. So how am I going to find time to read and absorb three books on real estate!? Here's how I did it. I carefully read each book via microphone into my computer. Carefully means get every word right - one wrong word could change the meaning of an entire paragraph in real estate. Just one or two chapters every night after the kids were in bed and asleep. About an hour and ten minutes got me two chapters on one disc (i'm a slow reader). I managed to get all 20 chpts. of Be A Realestate Millionaire onto 13 dics which I just leave in the car and play over and over, along with the other two books which I have burned to cd as well. When I'm not in the car I've managed to download all three books onto one 2GB (giga-byte) flash memory card which I listen to through a simple little digital audio player and a set of headphones which I wear all day. This eliminates having to sit down and read making it possible to continue the day. Put the headphones on and hit play, then go and clean the house, vacuum the floors, do the wash, cook dinner, wash dishes, do the yard, fix the car or somebodies bike or whatever! Even at night, through the night at low volume. Well that's how I did it anyway, "I know, I'm real slow, my head is real thick, I need it over and over and over again before it sinks in", and still do it everyday. My point being if you can record it somehow it eliminates having to sit and read when there just isn't TIME.

As for anything else, you can get it all right here from this site, and that means from daily encouragement and empowerment to legal forms and information concerning real estate in other states that you might want to get into as well as other forms of R.E.I.(real estate investing) such as Tax liens, Probate, Forclosures, ect. I dove into the website completely. Every blog and comment I could find. Every videotaped conversation, every forum conversation making notes all along the way because they're a wealth of "unintended" information. I say unintended because as one question is answered someone else jumps in and offers an "or do this if that happens" and then yet someone else with a " and if that happens you'll be able to do this!" By the end of it all they have answered five or six questions that nobody has asked! It's incredible! Make sure that you have seen every video and blog that Dean puts up and all the comments that go with it. It will give a sence of how things work here, who to ask about this or that, where to find the answers to your questions if the right person isn't online at the time. Oh Yes, videoblogs #47,#49,#50 are missing. I haven't had a chance to ask why or where yet. Maybe someone will see this and offer a clue? As you go through the comments below every videoblog you begin to recognize those who are experts in their choice of R.E.I. techniques.You'll begin to associate the names with the type of investing that they do. Dean is the real thing, but you'll see that for yourself as you comb through the website and the books. As I said before I too am new and terrified and excited and pumped. Read all the journals that you can - they'll help relieve your loneliness, All of these people are just like us or recently were! The only diff' now is they're just alot richer. Welcome to our new family Kendale! Oh yea, don't forget this thursday 3-11-10 9pm est. Grab something to make notes on....Dinner is going to be PIZZA on thursday - no cooking no dishes just Dean.

go on this. Like many of you I am scared about so many things, but I will try

I'm truly experiencing the fear that you are right now. For quite sometime I have had the desire to be a real estate investor. If it makes you feel any better I am 47 with four boys and three are at home. I've had many things to distract me from my desire to achieve one of my life's most important goals which is to be my own boss, become debt free as well as other goals. My encouragement to you as well as myself is to remember that our families are counting on us to be mentors for them, to Dream, Think and Achieve Big. I have come to realize that my family believes in me more than I do at times and it would be a shame for me to let them down. Had I taken action instead of allowing fear and the rat race of life get in my way, maybe I could have been in a financial position to keep my grandmother at home instead of placing her in a nursing home where I worked and unfortunately where she passed. I never again want to regret not accomplishing what I know I can do in my heart and miss out with anyone in my family. Truly, there is Nothing to Fear But Fear Itself. Being a little afraid to start something new is normal, But try baby steps, read the books , then talk to a real estate agent, just go look at a few properties, get a feel for what type of properties you want to invest in. Talk to contractors to build you team. Just take it one step, one day and once you get comfortable then make the lowest offer and wait. These little actions don't seem like much when you do them one at a time, But once they start coming together it is such a push of excitement that build confidence and lets you know you can do it. This website and the people online are so great. You can always find support here.

Fear is one of the biggest problems we face. This can be a pretty scary thing to do especially at the beginning.

Here is a quote from Dean's book:
