Unrelated to any RE topic and maybe this is not appropriate. I just want everyone to pray for my husband, he has prostrate cancer and will begin his radiation therapy tomorrow. I know prayer is powerful when done in mass quantity!

Hello DG Family,
Thank you everyone for your support, thoughts, and prayers for my husband's issue with prostate cancer. He finally finished a full week of radiation and so far he is doing okay. He has experienced fatigue but other than that he is doing pretty good. He is up and about trying to go about his daily activities.

I know this sounds crazy, but stop watching the news and negative TV. Start renting and watching comedies that make him laugh. Its important to keep your energy, up and positive. My husbands dad had to take female hormones when he was diagnosed. And to all the women who feel extra sensitive during their time of the month,or have heat flashes during menopause and wish that the men only knew what it was like,... he knew. I have a young friend who went through it as well, and he is fine now.

Please, please, please check out this website Hallelujah Acres and read the testimonies on cancer they are truly a miracle from God. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Our accountant had prostate cancer and healed it with an all natural diet. He refused all treatment (not recommending this!) but ended up cancer free from his dietary change and supplementation. I wish him the best of luck and we will be thinking about your family.

No, it doesn't sound crazy...we have an 11 month old grandson and he is just a joy to watch with his grandpa laughing and making "funny faces" with him. Thank you for the suggestions.

Father God, we all come before you as a group to pray for Sheila's husband as he undergoes radiation tomorrow. Lord, we know that you provide miracles everyday for each and everyone one of us. You have said that where two or more are gathered together, you are also there. Hi Sheila. You be encouraged. God is right there by your side. Just reach out to Him. I am in agreement with you for the healing of your husband. My wife and I both are cancer survivors. A few years ago she survived a very aggressive breast cancer. Now (depending on test results) she may be dealing with thyroid cancer! We never know what life will throw at us, and how a person can face life's challenges without Jesus Christ I'll never know, but I DO know this: My wife is a fighter and will NEVER back down from anything! She is a true survivor and you know what? I have a feeling your husband is, too! Let me put this in real estate lingo: For whatever reason, your husband has been ASSIGNED a raw DEAL, but the DEAL will fall through due your non-agreement to the terms. So there!
